雅思口语Part2话题范文汇总5篇雅思口语Part2话题范文:an interesting talk or speechYou should say:When you heard itWhere you heard itWhat it was aboutAnd explain why you think it was interesting. Lately I have attended a speech on “how to start a successful conversation” given by a communication expert in the Grand Hall of our school.A lady gave that speech. She actually made a living by talking to various people. She was a psychiatrist and it was her job to help people with mental problems live like a normal human being through talking. And by her own words, she was a success. She started her speech by denying the practicality and accuracy of the so- called golden rules of starting a conversation, and even went so far as to call them “crap”. One rule within the golden rules was chosen to explain why so. The rule was “To show you are paying attention, look into the eyes of the speaker, nod from time to time and ask occasionally some simple questions to sustain the conversation.” On this she said, if you were truly paying attention to the conversation and the speaker, you didn't even need to learn how to pay attention. If you had to learn how to pay attention, you were actually trying to get out of a conversation. Then she gave some simple rules of how to have a successful conversation, one of which was to ask open questions. She named the questions that could be answered with simply yes orno or one noun or one verb the “Conversation terminators”. I had never heard this before. But after a thought, she was right. I mean, when I ask you “Do you like dogs?” You might answer like “Yes, I love dogs”. And that is it. Suppose the one who answers doesn't want to share more about why or what dogs he likes, the conversation will end. So such questions can’t be good. Instead, we should use more often open questions like “What was like to have a dog?” “When do you think is the best age to have dog?” “Where do you think it better to have dogs, a city or a village?” Basically these questions enabled people to think, according to her. And it was these thinking that could finally deepen the conversation and make it longer. She was an aggressive one I had to say, and you don't have to agree with what she said. But it was worth listening to. Describe your favorite songYou should say:– What is the song about?– When did you first hear the song?– Why is it your favorite? Honestly speaking, for the most part, I would probably say that I have a great passion for listening to music and indeed I have listened like thousands of songs so far. However, if I have to pick out a song that I like the most, I would probably choose the song Million Years Ago by Adele. By gorgeous lyrics and melody, it’s like a piec e of cake for Adele to make me addicted to this song. A significant feature that I should mention is the song’s meaningful content. It is a regretful calling inside an adult who has born his soul on the way of growing up and earning his stripes. Every now and then I feel he is so desperate that he coulddo anything to escape the cycle of his life but after all he can’t afford to do so. The reason why I am so fond of this song has something to do with the fact that it provokes so many beautiful memories from my childhood. Although this song is a sad song, it opens my eyes to many things in life, one of them is that you should not take anything for granted, even the simplest one, try to live to your fullest so that one day you would not have to regret that much about the journey that you have been through. Fairly speaking, Million Years Ago is a really good songs for self – reflecting especially when you find yourself lost in the super busy world nowadays.雅思口语Part2话题范文:a time you spent with a childYou should say:who the child ishow you know him/herwhy you spent time with him/herand explain what you did when you were together高分参考:Just last week I spent some time with a child, in fact, it was my best friend’s son, Peter. He’s seven years old now and we spent some time together when his parents had to go to an appointment. It was basically a babysitting mission, a favor for my friend. I took my boyfriend with me for some help, and we both looked after Peter for the afternoon. We went to my friend’s house and spent some time there catching up with each other before they had to leave. Then we took my friend’s son out to a park nearby where they live. He was really excited about going out. Apparently he loves going to this park with his parents so we thought it would be a good idea if we took him so that he wouldn’t miss his parents so muchwhile they were away.Anyway, we spent ages playing on the swings and climbing and just having fun, and he loved playing rough with my boyfriend, they were tumbling and rolling all over the place having a great time. I’m really happy that my boyfriend loves kids like this and is really interested in enjoying time with them.Watching him play with Peter was just like watching two kids playing together, I think he enjoyed the time in the park as much as little Peter did to be honest, maybe even more. My boyfriend doesn’t have any nieces or nephews in his family so it was all a bit of a novelty for him.So after our time at the park we went to get some ice cream at a place close to the park. And after that we took him home to get him cleaned up a bit before his parents returned. By the time they got back he was ecstatic to see them again and spent ages telling them all about is adventures in the park and how good the ice cream was. He really is a super little boy and I love him very much.I’m already looking forward to the next time we spend some time with him.雅思口语Part2话题范文:you were not allowed to use mobile phoneYou should say :When it happened ?Where it happened ?What you did there? And explain why you were not allowed to use your phone? I'd like to talk about an experience that I was not allowed to use my mobile phone.A couple of weeks ago,a famous professorwas invited to give a lecture, concerning the future development of auditing. He's from Stanford university. One day I got a phone call from one of the companies from the HR department and the caller confirmed that I was hired for the job I applied for. This was a very exciting and good news for me as I was expecting to starta job so eagerly.I did not know the person who called me at that time but later I found that he was the head of the human resources department of the company and his name was Kane. I heard it in (…say a year i.g. 2004…) and it was probably June.My parents and relatives wanted me to get involved in a job right after my graduation and I felt the same. Some of my classmates were already doing jobs and I thought I should start a job as well. After I got the job confirmation call, I was very excited and happy. P2:Describe a piece of clothing that you like wearing

I’m going to describe a coat that I often wear at the moment. The coat is dark blue in colour, and it’s made out of a lightweight, waterproof material, which makes it perfect for wearing at this time of year here in Changchun. It also has a detachable hood, which I used yesterday when it was raining, and various pockets on the outside and on the inside.I bought the coat last year at the beginning of autumn when the weather started to get colder. It was easy to buy because I had had the exact same coat before; my old coat was starting to look a bit worn out, so I decided to buy a new version. As I knew which size I needed, I simply went online and found the best offer; I bought it through a shopping website, and it was delivered to my house a few days later. As I said, I’m wearing this coat a lot at the moment. It’s my everyday coat for going to work or for when I go out shopping or for any other reason. The reason why I like this coat is that it’s so practical and functional. It’s waterproof and it keeps me warm, but it also comes in handy for carrying things like my phone, wallet, loose change, a pen, and even a notebook; I tend to fill my pockets with whatever I can. It even folds up small enough to fit in my bag when I don’t need it.。

题目Describe a situation you waited for something. You should say:where this place waswhen this happenedwho you were withand explain why you had to wait for it. I’m a big fan of photography so I clearly remembered how I waited for my first camera I bought in an online store.I was in the habit of online shopping then so when I got the enough budget to purchase an expensive camera and lens in April last year before I planed to travel, I placed an order immediately in that website and waited for the delivery anxiously at home with myself. The ship would not be shipped the same day because there were always a large amount of orders in the website, but it would be sent the next day. So I had to wait for a whole day. I constantly checked the shipping status in the website to see how the delivery processed, and I would always be very delighted to find a change in the procedure. You know, it always would be a long and painful time before you get something you dream of. 下单 place an order10. 大量的:a large amount of14. 得到喜爱的东西之前时间都是漫长而焦急的:it always would be a long and painful time before you get something you dream of.。

Describe a TV programme or channel that you enjoy watching regularly.?1.What it is called? and what is it about?2.When do you usually watch it3.Why do you prefer it to other programmes or channels? 1.I rarely watch traditional television channels nowadays; I much prefer searching for interesting programmes or videos online. So, although it’s not a normal TV channel or programme, I’d like to talk about a website which I think is kind of a modern version of a TV channel. It’s called TED, which stands for ‘Technology, Entertainment, Design’, and it’s a great place to watch short talks and presentations about all sorts of interesting topics.2.The good thing about the videos on TED is that I can watch them whenever I want.I have saved as one of my favourites on my laptop, and I tend to visit the website every few days to check whether there is anything new. I often watch TED videos on my phone while I’m travelling to work on the train.3.The reason I like watching online videos on TED is that I learn something new every time I watch one. The tagline for the TED website is ‘ideas worth spreading’, and this really sums up the appeal of the site for me. Instead of watching meaningless soap operas and talk shows on TV, I’d much rather spend 10 minutes watching someone talk about a breakthrough in technology, science or healthcare.。

题目:Describe a family member you would like to work with. You should say:who this person iswhat kind of person he or she iswhether you’ve worked together beforeand explain why you would like to work with this person (more than with other members of your family). Let me tell you about my brother that I’d like to work with in my business. He is very considerate and thoughtful person who has always done his best to help me make decisions in the face of day-to-day difficulties. My brother has a strong personality and he never lets others tell him what to do.I learned how to be more responsible and also more determined in my daily life. Although we’ve never worked together in business before, he always reminds me that things are not as easy as they appear and that I should work hard in order to get results.I’d like to work with my brother because it’s lucky enough to find a wonderful partner in him, both personally and professionally. We can be honest with one another, and I trust him significantly more than I’ve trusted partners in the past. My brother is very loyal and I believe he will always watch my back. Although, I will say it is very important to define roles and boundaries with family immediately. He does tend to push the limits of what is acceptable if rules are not clearly defined. It also just so happens that our skill sets are completely opposite and complementary. 面对:in the face of3. 如果更有责任心和决定:how to be more responsible and also more determined5.个人和专业的角度:both personally and professionally6. 我们对双方互相信任:we can be honest with one another8. 倾向于:tend to。

Describe A piece of advice you’ve received. You should say: what it is who gave it to you why you took the advice and explain what the result was. I can remember a time when I sought advice from a wide range of different people. It was a couple of years ago, at a previous job, when I fell for a colleague. From my perspective it was love at first sight, but I was unsure whether the feeling was mutual and I didn’t know my company’s stance on office romances. I didn’t know what to do and I didn’t want to listen to just one person, so, as I said, I asked a few of my friends to get a broad set of opinions and points of view. A couple of people had reservations and advised caution, they recommended that I should take things slow, after all, “good things come to those that wait”. However, the general feeling was that I should go for it and ask her out. They said I had nothing to lose and I should strike while the iron’s hot. I had butterflies in my stomach, but despite being a nervous wreck, I eventually plucked up the courage to ask her out. As it happens, I shouldn’t have listened to them. She turned me down in front of all my co-workers and I had to walk back to my desk with my tail between my legs. I’ve never been so embarrassed in my life and I’ll definitely think twice before putting my heart on the line again. As they say, “once bitten, twice shy.2.雅思⼝语part2的话题素材 Describe an indoor game that you played when you were a child. You should say: what the game was where you played it who you played it with and explain why you enjoyed this game. I think I’d have to go for puzzles. Jigsaw puzzles to be precise. I have a huge collection, although most of them are hidden in a cupboard somewhere in my parents’ house, these days. I used to have a special table exclusively for doing my puzzles on. Once I got into the groove, I would become immersed in the puzzle and get lost in a world of my own. Occasionally I would try to solve one with my grandmother, but this was more for her benefit as I much prefer doing it by myself. I know it sounds selfish, but it’s just not as much fun sharing the responsibility with someone else and the pay off isn’t as big at the end. I started when I was just a toddler, putting shapes into pre-cut holes, but slowly I graduated to more complex pictures. These days it’s not unusual to find me tackling a really complex puzzle, like an “Impossipuzzle” which are double-sided and feature a picture of something very small but in large quantities, like a plate of baked beans or loads of Brussels sprouts. In my opinion as well as being an enjoyable pastime, jigsaw puzzles are good for your mind. The brain is basically just a muscle and so it should be given a work out every now and then. Jigsaw puzzles are challenging and although they are time consuming, they provide great satisfaction once you’ve finished one.3.雅思⼝语part2的话题素材 Describe an educational TV program. You should say: what the program is what type of program it is what contents it has and explain what you learned from the program. I’d like to talk about a program from my childhood called “How 2”, I believe it’s originally a British TV show that was televised in my country with subtitles. The presenters certainly spoke with a British accent. It’s hard to pin down exactly what type of program it was, I guess a mixture of science and history, with some everyday facts thrown in for good measure. The title itself is a play on words, as the series would show you ‘how to’ do certain things. The show is aimed at kids in middle school or high school. The hosts would routinely do experiments to demonstrate science in action, I remember one in particular where the presenters were trying to pour water out of a bottle in the quickest way possible. The winner had a very good technique whereby she would swirl the water, creating a vortex and causing the liquid to fly out of the bottle far quicker than any of the others’. As you would expect, the show got me interested in science and learning, but it also showed that you could do many experiments yourself and have fun at home, with everyday objects and materials that were easy to get hold of. At school we would need equipment and the teacher would have to supervise us, but at home we could be left to our own devices, with just a bottle and some water to keep us amused.4.雅思⼝语part2的话题素材 Describe a piece of equipment you want to buy in the future. You should say: what the equipment is where are you going to buy it what features it has and explain why you want to buy it. I’m a bit behind the times, so I think number one on my list of most wanted, indeed most needed equipment, is a smartphone. I’m not sure exactly where to by my new toy. On the one hand I could buy it on the Internet, where it’s likely to be cheaper, but on the other hand I prefer the more intimate experience of going to a shop and seeing the product first hand before I commit to buy it. Zhongguancun, an area of Beijing, has a huge selection of technological equipment, with mall after mall housing floor after floor of computers, phones and other tech. It’s a geek’s paradise. My current phone has been described as an ‘old man’s phone’. It basically only calls and sends text messages. My new smartphone will have a plethora of features, including a high-resolution camera and the ability to download a wide range of apps, like WeChat. It can also play movies, which will be especially useful when I’m trying to kill time on the subway on the way to work. Really, the soon I buy a smartphone the better. It’s high time I was brought up to date, I don’t want to be one of those technophobes who is dragged kicking and screaming into the modern age. I’d also like to start using WeChat as everyone I know has it and I don’t want to get left behind or kept out of the loop.5.雅思⼝语part2的话题素材 Describe a piece of good news you heard from TV or the Internet. You should say: what the news was about when you got this news where you got this news from and explain why you think it was a good piece of news. I once read a piece of good news on the website of the New York Times. It was two years ago, I was still a journalism student and one of my tutors assigned me to do a presentation for my news-gathering course. The time limit was five minutes and it was supposed to be a critique, i.e., stating clearly what was good and bad about the story. So I started preparing for my assignment. I was skimming through pages and clicking around when this article caught my eye. Basically, it was about a high school student who got bullied because he stuttered. The news story was a good one because it wasn’t what I expected it to be — a one-sided story that went on about the poor boy. This piece was actually rather fair and balanced. It tried to show the readers what had happened to the stutterer and they gave the alleged bullies a chance to give their side of the story. From the journalistic perspective, it was a neat one.。

P2:Something important for you to keep fit
Intense exercise that lifts your heart rate up to 75 percent of its capacity, at least four times a week is what helps me maintain my figure and counteracts the side effects of all the junk food I eat. I started doing cardio training when I was fourteen when I started getting a little round, and my parents made a gym membership for me.I didn’t like exercising at first, but when I started getting results, and all the girls in my class were asking me what I do to keep so fit and toned, I got the motivation to continue doing it. Nowadays, I vary my routine a lot, so I don’t get bored. I alternate between training half an hour on the spin bike, the elliptical, the Stairmaster, the treadmill, or I take a jog in the park or do laps in the pool. I’m not a great fan of weight training, but I do start swinging kettlebells and do squats with weights and assisted pull-ups when summer is right around the corner. There are days when I get to the gym and pretty much just laze about, looking at what other people are doing, while keeping the resistance of the machine I am using to a minimum. Other times, I compensate by going extra hard.。

It's impossible to prepare for every question that you might get in the speaking test, but what are the essential things to prepare for?
Here's my list of essentials:
1.Favourites: Don't go into the test without knowing what your favourites are. Prepare to talk about your favourite book, film, music, and website.
2.People: Be ready to talk about a famous person and a member of your family.
3.Activities: Have you prepared some ideas about a hobby? Can you describe a typical day in your life? Try to remember some special moments in your life, such as birthdays, festivals and weddings.
4.Places: You need to be able to talk about where you live. Also, think about the places you have visited, what you did there, and why you liked or didn't like them.
5.Things: Can you talk about the things you use every day, something you would like to buy, or a present that you received?
Remember that in part 2 you are always asked to "describe". Make sure you prepare some good adjectives for each topic, make sure you can talk about your opinions and feelings, and think about some examples or stories to make your descriptions more interesting.。
