本单元主要介绍一些野生动物的英文表达给学生,另外通过对野生动物的生存状况有一个初步的了解,能够引起学生对野生动物的怜爱,培养他们宝华大自然的意识。
贾老师在上本课时采取先上welcome to the unit 部分,再上comic strip部分的设计。
这样的设计更易导入本单元有关野生动物的话题,也可一位后半部分的教学提供更好的拓展空间和思路。
以下是本课的上课流程S1. 1. 展示图片: what’s the animal? What does it often eat? Where does it often live?They are free and they live in the wild. So they are wild animals.教授学生单词wild animal。

(游戏规则:一名学生用英语表达所看到的动物,不能直接说出名字,其他同学根据他所说的提示猜测这是一种什么动物)此环节将全班的上课气氛都调动起来了,学生都非常积极地参与,而且这个环节非常考验学生的口语表达,在此对与学生来说是一个练习与表现口语的绝好机会,真正体现了英语在日常生活中的实用性。
并且复习了刚刚学习的新单词,加深了学生们的记忆。

本部分内容原来就是书上的一个对话练习,但是贾老师将本段任务稍作了修改,学生合书做听力,根据表格上所缺的内容去有目的的听录音,并将答案填写在表格里。
一般在每个单元的第一个,学生基本都很少动手写东西,而贾老师将这里的任务重新设计之后,学生不仅练习了听力,而且还练习动手写单词。
