第10模块主要是谈论在图书馆及公共场所遵守行为规范。

看到这一标题,联想到近段时间学校也反复在说孩子们在学校的一些不文明现象。

也许就可以从孩子的实际生活出发,找到原型。

上课伊始,以What’s your hobby?进行了free talk,训练了孩子们的口语,激活了思维,接着利用小学生好玩的心理特点,设计猜谜语(It’s a place,You shouldn’t talk and be quiet in this place. You can find many books in this place. Where is it? )引出了本节课的主题———library。

然后,设置了一个问题“What can you see in the library?”并让他们欣赏了与library有关的歌曲,让学生说出library 的联想词汇,教师给出示范“There are lots of books in the library.” 学生能思索出令人惊喜的答案(chairs/desks, library card, students, librarian, library rules) 并在我出示了一盒思维导图,随机结合学生的联想及时讲授新的单词,在学习新单词时,我想方设法地促进学生智能的发展,而不是禁锢他们的思想。

帮助学生寻找记忆的方法,而不是死记硬背。

光靠死记硬背的学生的思维总是很狭隘。

而我们的使命就是促进学生的综合能力的发展。

为了方便学生掌握并记住他们,以旧引新,找出有相同词根的单词,鼓励学生从中寻找规律并培养了学生的迁移能力,比如学习line时,先列出fine/mine/nine等这些已学单词,不言而喻,line不教也会了。

再一次欣赏歌曲,并回答What should we do?/what shouldn’t we do in the library? 学生依据自己的经验及平时所学,大胆的说出:please be quiet/stand in line. Don’t talk in the library. Don’t talk/eat/sleep/shout…..并出示给他们在公共场合应该遵守相关的规则,就这样,一首歌曲就把文本的主要内容全部囊括在里面。
