However, many students find themselves struggling to meet the rising costs of tuition, textbooks, and living expenses. To make ends meet, many turn to part-time jobs to earn some extra income. While there are benefits to working while in college, there are also drawbacks to consider.First, let's discuss the advantages of college students taking on part-time jobs. One of the biggest benefits is the financial independence that comes with earning a paycheck. Students who work part-time can use their earnings to pay for school expenses, reduce student loan debt, save for the future, and even have some spending money for leisure activities.Furthermore, part-time jobs can provide valuable work experience and help students build their resumes. Employers often look for candidates with real-world experience, and having a part-time job can make a student more marketable in the jobmarket after graduation. Students who work during college also develop important skills such as time management, communication, and teamwork, which can benefit them in their future careers. On the other hand, there are some drawbacks to consider when it comes to college students working part-time. One of the main concerns is the impact of a job on a student's academic performance. Balancing schoolwork, extracurricular activities, and a job can be overwhelming and lead to stress and burnout. Students may struggle to find time to study, attend classes, and complete assignments, which can result in lower grades and hinder their academic success.Additionally, working part-time can take away from a student's social life and hinder their ability to participate in campus activities and clubs. College is a time for personal growth and exploration, and students who are constantly working may miss out on opportunities to network, make friends, and discover their passions outside of the classroom. In conclusion, college students should carefully weigh the pros and cons of working part-time while in school. While a part-time job can provide financial independence, work experience, and valuable skills, it can also be a source of stressand hinder academic and social success. It's essential for students to find a balance that allows them to earn income while still prioritizing their education and well-being. With careful planning and time management, students can make the most of their college experience and set themselves up for a successful future.篇2The Pros and Cons of College Students Doing Part-time JobsCollege students often face the dilemma of whether or not to take on part-time jobs while studying. Some argue that working part-time can provide valuable work experience, extra income, and the opportunity to develop important skills. However, others believe that juggling work and study can be overwhelming and may have negative effects on academic performance. In this essay, I will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of college students doing part-time jobs.Firstly, let's consider the benefits of college students taking on part-time jobs. One of the main advantages is that it provides students with valuable work experience. By working part-time, students can develop important skills such as time management, communication, and teamwork. These skills are not onlybeneficial in the workplace but also in their academic and personal lives. In addition, having work experience can make college students more competitive in the job market and help them to secure full-time employment after graduation.Another advantage of college students doing part-time jobs is the extra income that it provides. Many students struggle to make ends meet while studying, and a part-time job can help to alleviate financial stress. This extra income can be used to pay for tuition fees, books, accommodation, and other living expenses. It can also give students the opportunity to save money for the future or to treat themselves to something they enjoy.Furthermore, working part-time can help college students build a professional network. By interacting with colleagues, customers, and supervisors, students can make valuable connections that may benefit them in the future. These connections can lead to job opportunities, internships, or mentorship relationships. In addition, having a part-time job can help students to explore different career paths and gain insight into their interests and strengths. On the other hand, there are also drawbacks to college students taking on part-time jobs. One of the main disadvantages is the potential impact on academic performance.Juggling work and study can be challenging, and students may struggle to balance their responsibilities. This can lead to stress, fatigue, and burnout, which may negatively affect their grades. In addition, working long hours may leave students with less time for studying, attending classes, and completing assignments.Another disadvantage of college students doing part-time jobs is the risk of missing out on valuable opportunities for personal growth and development. While work experience is important, so is participating in extracurricular activities, volunteering, and pursuing hobbies. These activities can help students to develop a well-rounded personality, buildself-confidence, and make lasting friendships. If students spend all their time working, they may miss out on these enriching experiences.Furthermore, working part-time can also have a negative impact on students' physical and mental health. Long hours of work can lead to fatigue, sleep deprivation, and poor eating habits. This can weaken the immune system, increase the risk of illness, and reduce overall well-being. In addition, the stress of balancing work and study can lead to anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. It is important for students toprioritize self-care and seek support if they are struggling to cope with the demands of a part-time job.In conclusion, college students doing part-time jobs have both advantages and disadvantages. While work experience, extra income, and professional networking can be valuable benefits, they must be weighed against the potential impact on academic performance, personal growth, and health. It is important for students to carefully consider their priorities, goals, and limitations before taking on a part-time job. By finding a healthy balance between work and study, college students can make the most of their university experience and set themselves up for success in the future.篇3The Pros and Cons of Part-Time Jobs for College StudentsIn recent years, the number of college students taking on part-time jobs has been on the rise. While some argue that this trend is beneficial for students, others believe that it may have negative consequences. Here, we will explore the advantages and disadvantages of college students taking on part-time jobs.First and foremost, one of the biggest advantages of college students working part-time jobs is that it can help them gainvaluable work experience. By working in a real-world setting, students can develop important skills such as time management, communication, and teamwork. This experience can be invaluable when it comes to building a resume and securing a full-time job after graduation.Additionally, part-time jobs can provide students with a source of income to help cover their living expenses. Many college students struggle to make ends meet, and a part-time job can help alleviate financial stress. This can allow students to focus more on their studies and extracurricular activities without having to worry about money. On the other hand, there are also some drawbacks to college students taking on part-time jobs. One of the biggest concerns is that working too many hours can negatively impact students' academic performance. Balancing schoolwork and a part-time job can be challenging, and some students may find themselves overwhelmed and unable to keep up with their coursework.Furthermore, working long hours in a part-time job can also take a toll on students' physical and mental health. Many students already struggle with high levels of stress and anxiety, and adding a part-time job to the mix can exacerbate theseissues. It is important for students to prioritize self-care and make sure they are not spreading themselves too thin.In conclusion, there are both benefits and drawbacks to college students taking on part-time jobs. While gaining work experience and earning extra income can be advantageous, students must also be mindful of the potential impact on their academic performance and well-being. Ultimately, it is important for students to carefully weigh the pros and cons before deciding to take on a part-time job during their college years.。

College Students Part-time Jobs-大学生的兼职工作College Students' Part-time Jobs提纲1.越来越多的大学生在做兼职工作。

2.大学生是否应该从事这样的活动。

3.总结。

In recent years, more and more college students choose to take part-time jobs in or outside school. Many teachers complain than there are fewer and fewer students who pay attention to their study. Should we put the blame on part-time jobs? Is it a good thing for college students to work part time?It is true that excellent academic: qualifications are something essential if you want to find a good job after you leave school. But on the other hand, for those who can easily get high marks in examinations, it is worth trying to find something to do in their spare time. Then they can get some work experience which is as valuable as their academic achievement. From what I have said, it is difficult to judge whether taking part time jobs is good or bad. It depends on how you deal with the relation ship between working and learning. If you can balance it well, you are sure to get enough knowledge as well as working experience, so as to get ready for you future success.。

Part-timejobs关于兼职的专四作文

Part-timejobs关于兼职的专四作⽂Opinions on whether the part-time jobs could bring more benefits than setbacks are widely divided. Pros state that it is essential for groups of students to help pay the tuition fee, others who are better-off could have extra money to cover daily expenditures as well. Furthermore, doing teaching-related part-time jobs one can gain experiences on tutoring, other fields that require specific skills could also be beneficial. The other side argues that the extra-curricular work is liable to make students exhausted, unable to focus on studying or finish the assignments, or in the worst case, skip them. Besides, students are at risk of being deceived when working outside the school. My point of view is that university students should spend time on part-time jobs.First, off-campus works are great chances for students to take the leap towards maturity. While there is a lot can be learned from textbooks, working experience and specialized skills can only be acquired through actual participation in specific fields. Second, not only is the importance of development in skills, the interaction between colleagues is also the merit of working as a part-timer. This stands for even bigger significance in some professions, such as marketing and retailing. Last, how to balance working and studying itself can be viewed as a great opportunity to arrange a personal timetable. To value the urgency before handling multiple tasks and do them in a sensible sequence, serves as a required course in the process of growth.Experience accumulating, relationship-building, work-school balancing, are the advantages of taking a part-time job. I maintain that every student should get to work in his\her spare time, to improve it to quality life.。

大学生兼职的利与弊英语作文

大学生兼职的利与弊英语作文,这是大学英语四六级作文里经常谈到的,这篇可以参考:)Some peolpe think there are more advantages for colleges students to take part-time jobs than disadvantages, others don't think so. What's your view on this? And tell why.A serious problem has arisen in recent several years that more and more collegestudents abandon study because of their taking part-time jobs, so quite a few people are opposed to part-time jobs. However, taking part-time jobs has at lea st three benefits for college studens in my eyes.First, students can promote their study through part-time jobs. For instance, If a law student finds a part-time job in a law firm, his practice will enable him to better understand what he's learned from books. What's more, the part-time job can offer him opportunities to go beyond what he's been taught in class, and he'll learn something that doesn't exist in books but in practice.Second, students can also accumulate work experiences through part-time jobs, w hich will benefit their future job-hunting. Actually, part-time jobs act as war m-up exercises for students to take full-time jobs after they graduate, and hel p them prepare for their future careers. In addition, as fresh blood in the soc iety, graduated students are often unfavored in job-hunting markets for lack of practical work experiences. It's easier to find jobs for those who have accumu lated experiences in part-time jobs.Last but not the least, part-time jobs can partly relieve students' financial b urden, especially those who are from poor families. College tution fees have gr eatly increased in the past ten years due to the new educational policy. Many s tudents from poor families cannot afford college fees, and our bank system fail to loan college students as effectively as it does in developed countries, so taking part-time jobs becomes a way for them to meet their great expenses in ca mpus lives. It's an undenied fact that students break the balance between their jobs and st udies, especially when they fall into conflict with each other. But I think stu dents should spend their spare time taking part-time jobs. Only following this principle can they benefit from their part-time jobs.Nowadays, more and more college students are taking part-time jobs. On this phenomenon, different people hold different viewpoints. Some people thinkafter-school work is beneficial to the students. On the other hand, it helps cultivate indepenence in young people and make them more matrure;on the other hand, students who have part-time jobs can relieve, to some extent, the economic burdens of their parents. But after-school work has brought a lot of problems. For example, part-time jobs often distract students' attention from their studies, so some students have shown a decline in their studies, and some even play truant. As for me, I think the main task of students is to studey hard and learn what is needed for the development of our society.Though students who have part-time jobs may relieve their parents' economic burdens, their early contact with society adds greatly to the worries of their parentsPart-time JobsWhenever we huve more free time, our classrnutes will be busy recommending part-time jobs to one another. When we pass by the bulletin board on the campus, we often catch sight of some want ads attached to it. It is obvious that holding part-time jobs has become a growing tendency among university students. More and more students would like to work after class and their chances of getting a job are becoming abundant. There are always two sides to a question. Part-time jobs are no exceptions. They have either the pro side or the con side. On the one hand, part-time jobs not only enable students to cultivate their abilities, but also help them apply their knowledge to practice. Furthermore, students who have part-time jobs can relieve, to some extent, the economic burdens of their parents. However, on the other hand, after-class work may distract the students' attention from their studies. Some students who have secured part-time jobs have already shown a decline in their studies.I don't want to argue on the feasibility of holding part-time jobs. But there is no doubt that as a student, great emphasis should be placed on his studies. He should not allow his four years' time in the university to slip by for nothing. Instead, he must treasure his time and absorb as much knowledge as he can to lay a solid foundation for his future career.。

Part-time Jobs for College Students

Part-time Jobs for College StudentsIt is necessary for college students to take part-time jobs. First, by taking part-time jobs, the students can earn some money to support their studies and relieve the financial burden on their parents. Second, the students can make more friends from different fields and learn how to communicate with the people around them. Third, the students will find what is really useful and what they lack, and in turn, part-time jobs can promote their studies. Most important of all, the students can accumulate some working experience which will help them to adapt to the more and more competitive society more easily after graduation. Now that part-time jobs can do a lot of good to college students, I intend to find one. As a student of English, I’d like to get a part-time job as an English tutor. For one thing, I like children very much and I think I can be a good tutor. For another, by doing this job, I can put what I have learnt from books into practice. I am sure that as long as I arrange my time properly, the part-time job will not affect my studies at all. Instead, it will benefit me a lot.。

专八作文结尾模板

专八作文结尾模板篇一:英语专业八级作文万能模板英语专业八级作文万能模板Why Do I Attend University?Every summer hundreds of thousands of young students attend the college entrance examination, fighting hard to be among the lucky ones to enter universities. But have this large crowd asked themselves such a question: why do you want to go to university? It is dangerous if so many people try so hard to do something without clear purposes. For me, going to university can fulfil three important purposes. The most direct motive for going to university is to secure a good job in the future. With the largest population in the world, China is certainly to be a gathering place of labor force. When there is more than enough labor force, one has to be extraordinary in order to succeed in the job market. As not all young people can go to university now, an education experience in university is sure to guarantee some advantages. If you open a classfied advertisement, you may find that most of the well-jpaying jobs require a university degree or higher. Therefore, without university education, I cannotpossibly find a decent job to support myself and my family.Besides good job and income, a more important motive for going to university is to acquire knowledge. Since high school I have become increasingly interested in learning knowledge. I was usually fascinated by whatteachers taught in various classes, and this curiosity drives me to know more. I have found that things taught in high school are just on very basic level. If I want to dig deeper, the best place is here at university. With the help of professors and books, I can learn the knowledge more thoroughly and systematically. I won't be satisfied with my life unless I can satisfy my curiosity for knowledge in university. The most profound motive for going to university is to make some contributions. Due to the influence of my parents, I do not just want to just support myself in the society; I also want to do something for the society. Of course I don't have to go to university in order to make this contribution, but I find that more education can surely help me do it better. History reveals that those who have made more contributions are invariably better educated. Great figures like Newton, Einstein are all well educated. How can I make more contributions without university education? Therefore, three motives drive me into the gate of my university. Icome here for a good job, for more knowledge, and most importantly, for better contributions. I am sure with the knowledge I learn here, I will achieve the three purposes. And I am also sure that other people will also find university education rewarding to their life. What Has Turned Us Into Cheaters?2008年09月12日星期五01:35 P.M.What Has Turned Us Into Cheaters?"The writing topic for this year's CET-6 was revealed again before the day of testing."A student has been expelled due to misbehavior in a final examination. This kind of titles has been very popular these days, and all these have revealed a public secret: cheating on exams. This behavior, which was denounced by almost all, is spreading at a high rate, and this has puzzles not only teachers but also the whole society. Then why do students cheat on exams? In my understanding, there are mainly three reasons,(namely unscientific testing, competion for scholarship, and pressure from future job hunting). Some students cheat on exams to protest against the improper testing format. The purpose of university education should be teaching students to use knowledge to solve problems, therefore, exams and tests should test students' ability to use certain knowledge to solve some problems. But most tests in China just testunderstanding instead of application, and some exams are even worse because they only test students' memory. Some students think it unnecessary to spend time and effort to prepare for such exams, so the just cheat in order to get a decent score, which in their mind, means nothing. Dr. Wang who specializes in education assessment supported this view in one paper, and he said that teachers should blame themselves because they forced students to cheat.More students cheat on exams in order to struggle for scholarship. As universities are collecting tuition from students, they also increase the amount of scholarship. This money of course is very attractive to students, who have virtually no income. As scholarship is mostly decided by examination scores, students willing to get the money will try every means possible. In a recent survey, some good students admitted that they cheat on exams because "if most students are cheating, it is unfair when you choose not to". This probably represents a breach of traditional ethics, and is a more important reason than conscientious protest against improper tests. The most important reason, in my mind, should be the pressure from job hunting. In the past few years the situation in the job market is deteriorating, and this forces students to prepare as earlyas possible. Due to its importance, students naturally want to make their reports more attractive, and one way to realize it is cheating. As a student said in a news report, students are aware of the cost of being caught, but the profit of not being caught is too much, so many of them just "go ahead". Maybe it is not ueasonable to say that it is the society that makes students cheaters. To sum up, the desires to get a good job and a high scholarship, or simply to signal a protest in current education, have forced us students to copy inexams. It is undeniable that some suffer from weak moral principles, but it is wrong to blame them only. Only when the society and the university find the real source of the problem and deal with it can we restore the traditional criticism against cheating. Should students take part-time jobs?2008年09月04日星期四03:36 P.M.Should students take part-time jobs?Although still much lower than in foreign countries, the percentage of university students taking part-time jobs in China is on the increase. Some people criticize these students on the ground that part-time jobs distract转移students' attention and expose students too early to the issue of money. However, I firmly believe that working during university education can be very beneficial to students.First of all, taking part-time jobs can help reduce the financial burden of the students' families. Generally speaking, the income of most parents is not very high. As many universities are increasing their tuition, the education of their children is becoming an increasingly heavy burden for many parents. Some parents in the cities find it hard to pay this cost, not to mention those parents in the countryside. But if students can take some part-time jobs, their income can cover part of the expenditure, thus lowering the burden of their parents. Should students take part-time jobs?
In recent years, more and more students take part-time jobs during their
spare time, and it has become a controversial topic whether students
should take part-time jobs or not?
Those who argue for it believe that, in their part-time job, students can
put what they have learned in the school into practice, find the gap
between book knowledge and social needs as well as acquire more
needed skills, thus improving their ability and gaining practical
experience, which is of great benefits when they are hunting for jobs in
the near future. Besides, part-time job can strengthen students’ ability to
deal with problems and broaden their horizons. After all, as a student,
what he or she can learn in the school is theoretical and limited. Moreover,
by part-time job, students can earn some money to support their school
life, so they can reduce their parents’ pressure to make money.
However, the opponents think that study is students’ first priority, they
should pay all of their attention to their study. In addition, education
today is much more complex and difficult, doing part-time job will cost
much time, delay their leaning and make bad impact on their grades.
From my point of view, whether students should take part-time job
depends on the actual situation. If a student doesn’t have heavy courses
and wants to improve himself, he can take. But those with much courses
and tasks had better devotedly focus on their study.
