必修2 Unit 3 On the move Starting out+ vocabulary教学设计设计理念:《普通高中英语课程标准(2017年版2020年修订)》将词汇定义为“一种语言中所有词和词组的总和”(教育部,2020)。

词汇是语言的建构材料,而词汇学习也是语言学习的重要环节。

在单元整体教学视角下进行单元整体词汇教学设计。

单元整体教学,指的是教师基于课程标准,围绕特定主题,在深入解读、分析、整合和重组教材等教学资源后,结合学习主体的需求,搭建起的一个由单元大主题统领、各语篇小主题相互关联、逻辑清晰的完整教学单元。

单元整体教学设计使教师能够围绕一个完整的单元主题设定教学目标,引导学生通过对不同单一语篇小主题的学习和提炼并建立关联,生成该单元的大主题(王蔷等,2021)。

单元整体教学设计为单元词汇提供复现和运用的系列化多个情境。

单元整体词汇教学设计目标指向词汇的迁移应用以完成单元的主题任务。

教师要对单元整体进行分析,明确单元大概念及子概念,筛选产出性目标词汇,并引导学生对这些词汇进行自主归类。

整体创设词汇浸润场,建立起基于主题意义的螺旋式、浸润式的词汇学习生态场,关注词汇的语义深度加工、词汇语义场的建立及其在多个关联性主题情境中的迁移运用,即通过有意识地在课堂各种活动策略中强调产出性教学目标词汇,让学生在不同语境中反复接触这些词汇。

引导学生构建产出性教学目标词汇的学习策略,搭建“脚手架”,强化产出性词汇的应用和迁移,促使接受性词汇向产出性词汇转化。

具体而言,在开展单元词汇教学时,所教词汇取决于学生完成单元主题任务时所需要的词汇。

作为单元起始课,立足单元整体设计,指向应用和迁移,是单元整体教学实施的基础。

在开展单元整体教学设计时,往往在主题引领下设计层层递进的学习活动,使学生在知识的建构中形成对单元主题的深层认知、态度和行为取向。

单元整体词汇教学的功能之一是使学生对某一主题初步认知。

在引入主题及语境后,学生一方面需要对每一个主题词汇有准确清晰的理解,另一方需要形成结构化的词汇语义场,体现对此主题的基本理解和态度,为后面系列课时中词汇的应用奠定基础。

It also introduces the kinds of transport you need to get to these places. I use CAI to show some pictures, and design several games to let students master the names easily and vividly. Let them use the vocabulary to talk about tourists sights in Beijing and different kinds of transport.

Show one picture of Laoshe Tea House.(T: Look, do you know where it is? Help Ss answer: Yes, it’s Laoshe Tea House. What can we do there? ) Teacher shows other pictures and explains: We can drink special tea and enjoy Beijing Opera there.

4. After learning all the places, put the pictures together. According to the pictures, write the new words and phrases on the blackboard, and read them several times, make sure they can say the names of each place correctly.

Step 2 Games 1. Game1: Say the name of each picture. (T: Let have competition. Say the name of picture one by one, do it as quickly as possible. The team who takes the least time is the winner, and it will get one red star.) Divide the students into groups of 6. Explain the rule to them clearly, make sure the activity meaningful. Give them two minutes to prepare. 2. Game2: Find out: which picture is lost? (T: I’ll show you some groups of 6 pictures we have learnt, but one picture is missing, can you find out which photo is lost?
