【篇⼀】《⿊骏马》的英语读后感 Black Beauty was the only book written by Anna Sewell, although its continued popularity among children, particularly girls, has justified that effort. Sewell was, remarkably, paid only twenty pounds for the book and it was published three months before her death, in 1877. However, its immediate success gave her great pleasure and she died in the knowledge that the book had indeed encouraged people to treat animals less cruelly. It is the autobiography of a horse, the black Beauty of the title, who narrates it. Through various owners who ask different tasks of Black Beauty, he grows and has numerous adventures. He goes from being a riding and carriage horse through being a mistreated town cab horse to eventual happiness in a secure home. Notably, the animal keeps strength and good temper throughout his suffering and the story was extremely influential as pro-animal propaganda but it is also an extremely exciting and moving childrens story.【篇⼆】《⿊骏马》的英语读后感 In order to emphasize the importance of understanding animals, the writer created Ginger as a negative example. Ginger was the friend of Beauty who led a much more miserable life than Beauty did. Once she told Beauty: "When I was trained, several men caught me in a corner of the field and one held my nose so hard that I could only just breathe. Then others pulled my mouth open to put the bit in, and I was pulled along and beaten from behind. They didnt give me a chance to understand what they wanted." Poor Ginger, kindness was all she needed. She was frightened seriously so she bit or kicked to defend any possible attacks. The more she was whipped the more she bit, the more she bit the more she was whipped. In this way, both animals and humans were trapped in a terrible cycle made by human beings. Consequently, humans were frequently hurt by frightened horses. The author thus portrayed Ginger to tell me that harming animals may also harm us. When I have a sketchy look at other farm animals the writer depicts, it is simple to find more examples of cruel things humans do to animals out of ignorance. This part of the novel expanded peoples scope from only horses to all the animals and deepened the plea for animal rights and that made the novel more successful. Sir Oliver, the old horse, had a 20-centimeter-long tail. His beautiful long tail was cut off just because the owners thought it was fashionable. Humans never understood how pained a horse is when he cant brush flies off his sides and back legs. Sky, the terrier, had had a part of her ears sheared off. Her owners wanted to make her look cute and ignored that parts of her ears were intended to protect the delicate parts from injury. "Why dont people cut their own children ‘s ears to make them look lovely?" Asked the poor dog angrily. Yes, why cant we think from the animals perspective? "Black Beauty is a heartbreaking story," I thought when my mother read it to me when I was a child. As a child I was haunted by the described cruelty to those horses. Now I deeply hope, in the future, we will be able to tell our children that because of the book, and others like it, such mistreatment of animals no longer exists. And they just need to enjoy the novel as a beautiful historical documentary recording the progress of upholding animal rights. At that time, the dream of the author will have come true and her hard work will have been rewarded.【篇三】《⿊骏马》的英语读后感 Black beauty is the first book of my summer vacation. The summer vacation is coming to an end. The author of black beauty is Anna, a famous British children novelist. Sewell, her father, a bank manager, was a young reader. The hero "black beauty is a beautiful kind of black horse, living in the noble family, has a good training, gentle temperament, and intelligent, the master like it very much. However, the masters family had a change, and the black horse had to be sold. It was bought several times in a row, met a drunk drunk took his anger on the horse, met a gentle beautiful optimistic miss Annie, charter horse, rent, have a good rental horse driver?? It tasted all the sweet and sour of the world. After several twists and turns, he returned to his original masters friend, or the old "little" groom, or the old name, and lived a happy life. Black horse through their own eyes, tells the story of a beautiful expression to the people, let every reader feel: animal-human nature, how we treat animals, how animals are to us?? Although I am a reader, I have to. To change a bit of thinking, if I am black beauty I go back to think. In fact, there are many interesting things that can be found when you think about transposition. The stronger middle hand: the opportunity to only narrow those who have prepared before; Ignorance is second only to evil, and ignorance causes great harm. Good interpersonal relationship, pleasant? I learned that in the book. Black beauty is a very good book. I recommend you to take a look.【篇四】《⿊骏马》的英语读后感 "Animals deserve our kindness, sympathy and understanding," that is what Anna Sewell-the author of Black Beauty-wanted to convince her readers. Thanks to Sewell, I now think about the animal-human relationship from both the human and the animals point of view. The inspiration for Anna Sewells novel was drawn from her own relationship with horses. Anna Sewell was born on March 20th, 1820 in Norfolk, England and was crippled while still very young. Due to her disability, she relied on horse-drawn carriages and grew to love horses as a result. She also became appalled by the careless and cruel treatment horses often received from humans and determined to write a book.In the second year of work on the book, she was told that she had only eighteen months to live, but she persevered in order "to induce kindness, sympathy and an understanding [of the ] treatment of horses." Five years later, she was still working on Black Beauty, her only book. Unfortunately, Sewell died a few months after publication and never learned of the books huge success. Black Beauty formed an impassioned plea for animal rights at a time when such a notion had been dismissed as ridiculous. The novel portrayed the real condition of working horses living in Britain during the Victorian Era. In that time period, the wealthy thought that their horses were treated well because they never stepped into the stable. In order to call peoples attention to horses hard life, Sewell tells the story through the first-person narrative voice of a horse. This innovative personification of an animal made the book a real success. Readers heard the stories straight from the horses mouth, literally, as an animal spoke of extremes of joy and suffering. People were shocked by the truth exposed by the novel and changed their attitudes towards animals. Sewell formed the novel with three kinds of characters: Black Beauty, Ginger and other farm animals. Through their different experiences, I saw similarly painful lives led by the animals. This method made the earnest appeal for animal rights become more and more persuasive. As a domestic animal, Black Beauty was continuously sold from one family to another. Over the years Beauty enjoyed good masters but also endured mean ones. Sometimes, he was cared for and at other times tortured. In the end, everything turns out all right in a story that is so tender and yet meaningful. His story was so vivid that caught the readers heart. The novel brought people laughter and tears and also enlightened them to understand animals at the same time. Animals cannot speak so understanding is significant to them. Once, for example, Beauty was drawing the carriage to a wooden bridge. The bridge was flooded out in the river and John, the groom, was not aware that it was cracked. But the quickly realized that something was wrong because of Beautys abnormal behavior. Momentarily, a man shouted to them, "Stop! Stop!…The bridge is broken in the middle. If you come across, youll fall in the river!" Beauty had saved John. However, if John had not tried to understand what Beauty wanted to tell him, there would definitely have been an accident. I learnt from the story that understanding animals is not only essential to them but is also beneficial to us ourselves.【篇五】《⿊骏马》的英语读后感 This article is mainly about a black horse life. In his life, he met many kinds of masters, who were kind, drunk and stupid... The first part is about the happy life of black beauty at Berwick park. At the Berwick manor, it encountered "hot ginger". "Quick legs" and so on, because of Joe greens ignorance, it had a serious illness, which almost killed it. The second part is about the most painful part of black beautys life: the beginning of suffering. During this time, he met the drunk driver and the driver who stole the horse food. The third part is about black beautys happy time. During this time, it had a good host: jerry. It also knew the old war horse "captain". At the same time, it was reunited with "spicy ginger". Soon the captain was dead, and jerry was ill, and he had to find a new master. The fourth part is the final destination of black beauty. It went back to Joe green, and Joe green became his new owner again. After reading this book, I cant help but sigh. Why do humans always abuse animals? Even a lifelong animal companion? The same is true for the horse, and the attitude towards the horse is very different. ...... Reading this book, I saw the humanitys unrelenting, also saw the human kindness. Hope that there are more good people in the world, less cold and ruthless!。

初一英语读后感

初一英语读后感初一英语读后感Black Beauty> is a sensational second half of the 19th century classic children fiction literary circles. Novel leading character "Black Beauty" dark horse is a horse pretty good seed, from elite families living in character everyone and kind, and smart, like his great master. However, good days never, home owners have events, Steed had to be sold. His company was sold many times and met with a variety of people : Take a drink of wine drunk horse gas, easily pumping whip rental carriage wagoner, not to the animals seldom barbarians, but also to other animals as a good friend, a worldly bit hypocritical."Black Beauty" use offensive language, a story about a beautiful story for every time people have felt the story : animal-human nature, how we treat animals, how animals would treat us. They see who is good for him, who love him, he is reported to show a picture of the same repay you.In a word, this book tells us : to animals when human friends!Oliver Twist, one of the most famous works of Charles Dickens’, is a novel ref lecting the tragic fact of the life in Britain in 18th century. The author who himself was born in a poor family wrote this novel in his twenties with a view to reveal the ugly masks of those cruel criminals and to expose the horror and violence hidden underneath the narrow and dirty streets in London. The hero of this novel was Oliver Twist, an orphan, who was thrown into a world full of poverty and crime. He suffered enormous pain, such as hunger, thirst, beating and abuse. Whilereading the tragic experiences of the little Oliver, I was shocked by his sufferings. I felt for the poor boy, but at the same time I detested the evil Fagin and the brutal Bill. To my relief, as was written in all the best stories, the goodneeventually conquered devil and Oliver lived a happy life in the end. One of the plots that attracted me most is that after the theft, little Oliver was allowed to recover in the kind care of Mrs. Maylie and Rose and began a new life. He went for walks with them, or Rose read to him, and he worked hard at his lessons. He felt as if he had left behind forever the world of crime and hardship and poverty. How can such a little boy who had already suffered oppressive affliction remain pure in body and mind? The reason is the nature of goodness. I think it is the most important information implied in the novel by Dickens-he believed that goodnecould conquer every difficulty. Although I don’t think goodneis omnipotent, yet I do believe that those who are kind-hearted live more happily than those who are evil-minded.For me, the nature of goodneis one of the most necessary character for a person. Goodneis to humans what water is to fish. He who is without goodneis an utterly worthleperson. On the contrary, as the famous saying goes, ‘The fragrance always stays in the hand that gives the rose’, he who is with goodneundoubtedly is a happy and useful person. People receiving his help are grateful to him and he also gets gratified from what he has done, and thus he can do good to both the people he has helped and himself. To my disappointment, nowadays some people seem to doubt the existence of the goodnein humanity. They look down on people’s honesty and kindness, thinking it foolish of people to be warm-hearted. As a result, they show no sympathy to thosewho are in trouble and seldom offer to help others. On the other hand, they attach importance to money and benefit. In their opinion, money is the only real object while emotions and morality are nihility. If they cannot get profit from showing their ‘kindness’, they draw back when others are faced with trouble and even hit a man when he is down. They are one of the sorts that I。

J u d g e t h e w o r l d a s a h o r s e---book review on Black Beauty To be frank, although I grew up in the village, I hardly pay much attention on animals. And it was taken for granted that they are just creatures without mind in the mercy of our human beings. Never have I had the chance to learn about horses till I come upon with Black Beauty. After finishing reading the novel, I am deeply impressed by the author’s elaborate description of horses’ nature and behavior. How could a grace lady like Anna Sewell seem like a senor groom who knows exactly horses’ feelings? And I am also ashamed of my innocence and prejudice to animals. The book is far more meaningful in calling up people of all ages to respect animals and take good care of them than just entertaining the child as some critics defied it as children’s classic. The author personified these horses and presented the world in the horse Black Beauty’s eyes in his lifelong experience. Truth is told in the horse’s various daily experiences with different kinds of masters and grooms. However, being well taken care of or suffering miserable overuse, Black Beauty as the inferior creature, is powerless to revolt. So what matters is humans’ consciousness and morality.Life is like a mirror. Others will treat you the same way as you do no matter for human beings or animals. That is what I get from the behaviors of horses. The novel presents the world and various kinds of people in the horse eyes. Throughout Black Beauty’s life, he comes up with various kinds of masters and grooms, considerate or bad-tempered. The truth is told when he sees many horses undergoing ill-use. “I saw a great deal of trouble amongst the horses in London, and much of it that might have been prevented by a little common sense. We horses do not mind hard work if we are treated reasonably. ”①I notice that he use the phrase--common sense. It is ironical that some of we developed creatures always act without common sense. With halters, headstalls and bits, we deprive the freedom of the horses to make them controllable.Regardless of their feelings, we want them to run as fast as they can or carry twice or more the goods as they can endure. But horses tend to be hard to control and cause troubles under such conditions. That lady Anna’s falling down from a horse for her whipping constantly in ignorance of the horse’s poor condition is good proof to it. We would feel angry and intense to resist when we are rudely treated. So are the horses. They are unable to shout out their dissatisfaction, but they will act out their mood. I always believe that we will get what we plow in the garden. So if we want a lovely animal, we should treat them kindly just as Black Beauty says in the novel—It may be hard work sometimes, but a friendly hand and voice make it easy.②Why do human beings always feel superior to other creatures? After reading the novel, the question troubles me a lot. Here is a conversation between horses.---Do you know why this world is as bad as it is?---It is because people think only about their own business and won’t trouble themselves to stand up for the oppressed, no bring the wrong-doer to light.③With a special angle of view, people in the novel are judged by the horses’ value of world. I don’t think selfish is proper to describe some of them in horses’ eyes. They regard themselves as the controller so as to do anything they like. The conceit and pride make them look down upon any other creatures. But every creature is born equal. We are just part of the nature. How can you image if there are only human beings left in the world? It must be the end of the world. So it is not enough to take care of other creatures but to respect them and treat them as friends.I am gratified that Black Beauty be home finally after ups and downs. But who knows whether horses like Black Beauty are the majority or the minority? Anna Stewell was a kindhearted lady to reveal the horse world to remind us. I don’t believe in superstition, but I do believe that whatever action would get the same reaction. So be kind to all creatures and make friends with them!崔佳丽② P174in Black Beauty by Anna Sewell Signet Classic0701123。
