妙用看图说话,提升语言能力——在小学英语教学中运用“看图说话”策略提升语用实效性的研究曹彩燕浙江省杭州市萧山区瓜沥镇明德学校311241【内容摘要】学生的英语表达破碎零散、无法可循,表达能力不佳,思维能力缺乏暴露出教学的种种弊端。

本文倡导在小学英语教学中运用“看图说话”策略提升语用实效性,提高学生口语表达能力,最终实现语言知识向综合语言运用能力的转化。

【关键词】小学英语看图说话语言体系语用实效一、问题的提出透析教学现状,引人思绪翩翩症状一:学生表达停留于“看图识词”“只言片语”学生语言技能中说的技能往往停留于看图识词、生硬地说出只言片语。

相较于书写技能,说的技能仍然是孩子们英语学习最大的困扰,哑巴英语的现象仍十分明显。

症状二:学生表达“零散破碎”“无法可循”虽能熟读课文,甚至背诵了许多语言材料,却不能灵活借用旧知进行描述。

学生的语言零散而破碎,语言体系不完善,语言表达能力不佳,这些现象在英语课堂表达中屡见不鲜。

症状三:学生表达“死记硬背”“照搬照说”学生对用英语看图说话仍有些陌生,虽然在语文学习中也有看图说话,但用英语表达就显得不知所措,不是整篇死记硬背,照搬照说,就是无话可说的冷场现象,缺乏思维能力。

二、策略与实践(一)依据难易次序,探寻“表达流程”(二)根据内容特点,寻找“表达支点”从提供支架进行“补白式”看图说话,到只提供部分支架进行“引导式”和“线索式”看图说话,到最后的脱离支架进行“拓展式”和“创造式”看图说话,是由扶到放的过程。

1、模仿起步,“表演式”看图说话在仿中巩固,仿中感悟,仿中迁移,熟能生巧,最后形成自己的看图说话技能,为进一步的独立表达打下基础。

在训练过程中,教师要充分利用教材的配图和插图,利用好挂图进行配音表演,或进行场景重现来模仿学习,并进行框架的提炼,归类指导如何调用已学旧知。

【课例1】 PEP1 Unit4 We love animals2、提供支架,“补白式”看图说话在看图说话训练过程初期,教师可以和学生一起分析观察图片,搭建完整的语段支架,把需要操练的语汇和句型放入语段中进行“留白”处理,让学生根据所学进行填空补白。
