一.审题在托福独立写作考试中，考生应该学会审题，如果考生在审题中出现失误的话，就算考生的论述再清晰，也不会取得高分的。
根据以往的独立写作的题目，前程百利小编认为，可以把独立写作中的题型分为观点选择类，比较对比类。
建议考生在看到题目的时候，首先把题目通读1-3遍，着重看在题目中的名词和动词，如果题目中给出了两个观点或者是一个观点的两个方面，要求考生进行比较论述并给出个人的观点，那就是观点选择类的题目，比如在TPO1中，问考生agree or disagree with the following statement就是观点选择题;如果要求考生根据两个对立的观点做出选择就是比较对比类型的题比如在TPO11中了，让考生在针对人们关于电脑的两个不同的认知中进行选择就是这类题目。
二. 怎样谋篇布局在确定题目类型之后，考生就应该进行谋篇布局了。
但是小编认为，不管是什么类型的题目，考生在组织论述的时候都应该采用五段式的方式表达自己的观点，而且需要考生注意的是，在确定论点先后顺序的时候应该慎重，要有逻辑性的安排这些论点。
比如考生可以按照这些论点的重要性进行排列，把最能表达自己观点的部分放在首位，把最不能表达自己观点的内容放在最后一个自然段进行论述;或者考生在安排论点的时候可以按照范围的大小来进行排列，总之一定要有逻辑。
1.观点选择类在这个题目中，考生直接选择其中的一个观点写就可以了，一定要注意不要将在题目中出现的不同的观点进行对比，在表明自己观点的基础上，考生可以选择三个方面进行论证，这些论点之间可以是层层递进的关系，也可以说平行关系，最后再总述论点即可。

◆TOPIC 儿童时代性格对终身影响
一个人研究了M和L俩孩子，一个内向，一个外向。内向的M看到新奇novel
事物就害怕;外向的L看到新奇事物安静、微笑。等他们长大后，M很内向，L
很外向。
然后又研究了一群孩子，40%内向，30%外向，这两组孩子被称为extreme
groups。等他们长大后，其中20%-30%保持极端性格，剩下大部分都变了，shy
不再那么shy，outgoing也不那么outgoing了。
后来从生物角度研究这两种极端孩子的生理区别：一是一种A的东西对新奇事
物的兴奋度不同，shy的更兴奋，而A对神经中枢有刺激作用;二是shy的心跳
快、血压高、体表温度低;三是brain pattern不同，shy的右脑更灵活，
outgoing的左脑更灵活。
最后说家长可以帮助内向的小朋友克服心里恐惧，变得不内向。而是否内外向，
与基因没有太多关联，主要靠后天因素。

◆TOPIC Early Maize in Southwest America
以hunting为生的Southwest人因为天气多变且游牧生活常常出现食物短缺，
决定开始种粮食。因为crop能选地和储存(有题)。开始种maize的原因可能和
人口增长和粮食短缺有关，但maize have low yield，人们主要还是hunting。
因为maize需要足够的moisture farmers学会用血多方法得到水资源，比如挑
选能种的深的种子吸取地下水，挑选靠近瀑布河流的种植地点等。
随着时间发展，种植的maize种类也不同。说科学家用radiocarbon方法测出，
maize种植始于1500-201XBC。其中一种maize对环境适应能力特强，生长期特
短。还说农民把maize和bean一起种，因为bean能把maize脱落的东西通过
大豆根瘤菌的方式供给回soil，是soil能滋养更多代crop。
最后说尽管maize产量不高但是有用，为哪些倾向于农耕生活的人提供了支持。
