Life1.In general. People are living longer now. discuss the causes of this phenomenon. Sample: The causes of people’s longevity todayAmong various factors that contribute to today’s longevity长寿of people are three most obvious ones: the improvement of food conditions, the development of modern medical technology, and finally current stability稳定性of economy in our country.Food conditions are better than before and are still being developed with a rapid pace. First of all, foods are more hygienic卫生学的,卫生的. People today drink untainted mineral water, sterilized skim milk, which are cheaply supplied in supermarkets. Furthermore, foods are more nutrient有营养的. Not to mention various carefully designed nutrient products. People can just ignore the possibility of being dystrophic营养不良的, since they can keep nutrient balance by simply taking a cheap pill of vitamin compound every day.Another essential improvement that contributes to people’s longevity is swiftly developing medical technology. Development of modern medical technology has always been amazing. Certain diseases such as tuberculosis肺结核, pneumonia肺炎, and dysentery痢疾are now easy to remedy with low expenses, but in the past, they are all probably lethal致命的ones. The dental technology seems developed little except its exorbitantly charged bill. Yet the simplest technology contributes to people’s longevity most. It is not difficult to imagine that if an individual who lived in the past got a toothache, without certain dental care which is common today, he was certainly in an awful prospect: he might even die o a toothache!Current societal社会的and economic stabilization is also a very indispensable factor. People have less pressure in a more stable society, the less pressure they suffer, the healthier they are. Today’s ideal stabilization even provides people an opportunity to secure their future---buy insurances. Various types of insurances are readily available, which make people feel safe, and have to a large extent reduced people’s anxieties, and therefore indirectly contribute significantly to the longevity of people.2.Some people say that computers have made life easier and more convenient. Otherpeople say that computers have made life more complex and stressful. What is your opinion? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.Sample: Computers and human lifeFor every individual who praises the advent出现,到来of the computer age there seems to be a computer phobic恐惧症的person. Truly, many people are having a difficult time warming up to this machine and its ubiquity到处存在. The computer appears to have made life more complex because it can be difficult to understand and it has quickened our pace of life and thus caused stress, but once people learn how to use it they will be able to appreciate the conveniences it has to offer. Many people, especially older generations, are not familiar with熟悉computers and therefore uncomfortable with them. They find the machine’s workings too complex and difficult to understand. Even the terminology术语,专门名词seems like a completely different language, because twenty years ago nobody knew what words like software, hardware, or network connection meant. When people heard the word mouse they thought of a rodent啮齿动物. This has changed today, and few teenagers would make the same mistake as their grandparents. It is also true that computers have quickened the pace of life by allowing us to communicate and do business more efficiently, and this can certainly result in stress. After all, time saved isusually spent on accomplishing more tasks, and thus personal schedules have become more crowded. The stress factor increases yet again when the technology on which we rely breaks down. Few people understand their computers well enough to fix them, and as entire companies depend on this technology to handle all of their business needs, a single broken computer can wreck a lot of havoc大破坏,浩劫.Nevertheless, computers and the Internet have become an integral完整的,整体的part of everyday life. Computers are here to stay, because they facilitate使容易,推动many of our everyday processes and we have already grown dependent on them. Today computer owners use their machines not only to communicate and do business but also for entertainment. As people learn more about computers they will become more comfortable with them, and technological progress will fix many of the small annoyances烦恼that cause stress to their owners.3.Would you prefer to live in a traditional house or in a modern apartment building? Usespecific reasons and details to support your choice.Sample: Live in a traditional house or in a modern apartment building?Choosing a home is a very personal decision to make. Some people prefer to live in traditional house, while others would rather live in modern apartment buildings. Personally, I would prefer to life in a modern building over a traditional house. Modern buildings provide better services, they are stronger and safer, and they are more conveniently方便地located. When people move into a modern apartment building, they are immediately surrounded by all of the comforts they could possibly want. Modern buildings typically have new plumbing管道设施and hardware硬件设施.Because of this there are usually very few problems with new apartment buildings. In addition to this, they also come supplied with refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioning, and the Internet. Many new buildings have the added bonus of having a workout facility or a swimming pool. All of these advantages make an apartment a much more attractive option than a traditional house.Modern buildings are also stronger and safer than traditional houses. They are made completely of concrete混凝土, which is a very durable持久的material. These buildings are always designed by important architects who have a detailed knowledge of building materials, and methods that ensure the natural disasters will not affect the stability of the complex. In addition to this, all modern buildings have to be inspected by engineers, who carefully evaluate the structure to ensure that it is wound and can withstand抵御,承受natural or unnatural disasters. Many older structures were built using the experience of the builder rather than any empirical根据经验的,实用的understanding of building materials and the forces they can withstand.Traditional houses are also usually built in quiet areas outside the city. Most modern apartment buildings are constructed in the core中心,核心of the city, offering the residents a wide range of services right outside their door. Detailed analyses are made by civic engineer and city planners to ensure that all necessary services are readily容易地available. This includes transportation, shopping, employment and recreational facilities. Living too far outside the city can be a hindrance障碍to one’s business and social life.4.Is it better to enjoy your money when you earn it or is it better to save your money forsome time in the future? Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion. Sample: Spend your earned money immediately or save it for future? My mom used to tell me:” You can only spend money once.” What she meant is that if you spent money frivolously轻浮地,愚昧地, you might really need it later and regret your earliercareless spending. After several years of managing a small amount of my own money, I have come to the conclusion that my mom was right, saving is better than spending. No one knows what tomorrow will bring, the only thing we can do is to try to be prepared. When disaster strikes, perhaps a sudden illness in the family, having money on hand can mean the difference between life and death. When opportunity knocks, a surprise acceptance to a top university for instance, money is needed for tuition学费, board膳食费用, and books. This is not to say that one should not spend any money because they have to prepare for every possible contingency意外事故,不测事故. It simply means that one should not spend recklessly鲁莽地,不顾一切地without having a substantial充足的,坚固的amount of money to guard against an unpredictable future. The importance of saving money when young cannot be overstressed. This is because young people can tolerate high-risk, higher return investments, and can let their investments mature到期longer, allowing interest on savings to compound以复利计算. If invested well, $5,000 today could become $20.000 in 15 years. This concept is so powerful because the investor does not have to work for the money, the money works for the investor. Saving is not only a bulwark壁垒,防波堤against an unpredictable future, it is also a way to generate future wealth. At last, while it is true that spending money can be enjoyable it is not the only way to have fun. The idea that we must always be consuming things in order to have a good time is a lie told to us by advertisers. These companies tell us that only when we drive the right car, wear the right clothes, and drink the right beverages will we be truly happy. In reality, each person determines the standard of his/her own happiness. For my part, I have decided that creating things, writing, painting, making music, is what truly makes me happy. The amount of money I need to spend doing these things is almost nothing, but the happiness they bring me is immeasurable不可估量的. I would prefer to save money for unavoidable expenses and enjoy life by being a producer, not a consumer.。

2016年最新托福⼝语题⽬:好学校应具备的要素 Task 1 Which one of the following qualities do you think a good school should have? Students who like to help each other, knowledgeable teachers or strict rules? 托福⼝语模板及托福⼝语真题参考答案范⽂: 托福⼝语范⽂: I think a good school should definitely have strict rules for the following reasons. My first reason is that strict rules can motivate all kinds of students to work harder because most of the times, students, especially teenagers need a little push in life. For example, when I was in high school, all students in my school were required to arrive at school at 7am to memorize English vocabulary. The school forced everyone to make wise use of the time before the first class of the day officially started. I hated it back then. But when I look back now, I realize that I couldn’t have possibly gotten such a good grade in English if my school didn’t push me. I probably would have spent my morning sleeping in or procrastinating if my school didn’t have such a strict rule. Plus, strict rules can teach students about discipline. Sometimes it’s not exactly about the rules themselves, it’s the concept of obeying the rules when asked to that matters. 2016年最新托福⼝语题⽬:过程和结果哪个更重要 Task 2 Which one do you think is more important? The process of doing something or the result at the end? 托福⼝语模板及托福⼝语真题参考答案范⽂: 托福⼝语范⽂: I personally believe the result at the end is important but not as important as the process of doing something. The process of doing something simply is the part that gives us all the fun and all the good memories. Take my second-grade assignment as an example, we were all asked to make a report about Thanksgiving. So I teamed up with my dad and little by little, we started this magnificent research of Thanksgiving. I remember I went online and searched for as much related information as possible, how the tradition of Thanksgiving started, how the pilgrims arrived to America and how they celebrated the first Thanksgiving with the native Americans. And my dad helped me make a list of the differences between American and Canadian Thanksgiving. We went to the supermarket together to take pictures of the ingredients people needed to make a traditional Thanksgiving meal. My dad even printed out the recipe of my grandma’s cranberry sauce for me to include in my report. I really can’t recall if I got a good grade that time, but I still remember all the fun I had with my dad and the funny pictures we took in the supermarket, until today I still keep that report because it reminds me of all the fun I had during the process of making it. Plus, through the process of doing something, there’s always something for us to learn, and there’s always something to inspire new ideas. 2016年最新托福⼝语题⽬:学⽣应该参加志愿服务吗 Task2 – Some universities encourage their students to get involved in voluntary jobs in the community like cleaning the public park and tutoring? Do you agree or disagree? Should students be required to do volunteer work? 托福⼝语模板及托福⼝语真题参考答案范⽂: 托福⼝语范⽂⼀: Sample I would definitely support the university’s voluntary program as it benefit student so much. For starters, those community services would give students a sense of responsibility and purpose. For example, I spent quite a while with some primary student last year, helping them with their reading.I observed their way of thinking and what they like or dislike. And I realized how to comfort them when they were upset and encourage them when they fell sorrow. Also, this experience shapes my personality. I became more open-minded and are more willing to communicate with others than before. 托福⼝语范⽂⼆: 12⽉5⽇托福⼝语真题Task 2 I think students should be required to do volunteer for the following reasons. Firstly, it’s important for students to learn to give back to the community at an early age. I first started volunteering when I was only 8 years old, I remember it was right before Christmas and my parents signed us up for volunteering in the soup kitchen in my neighborhood. I was the youngest volunteer there that day and I used a big ladle to serve hot soup to the homeless. That was kind of a milestone in my life because that was when I understood the importance of sharing what we have with the less fortunate and I also realized how good it feels when we know we are capable of helping others. Today volunteer work has become a big part of who I am and I think all students should learn the meaning of volunteering from an early stage of life. Plus, it’s a good chance for students to sharpen their communication skills. In volunteer work, more often than not, you will have to work with others in a group, that’s a good opportunity for students to learn to be great listeners while getting their own voices heard at the same time.【2016托福⼝语范⽂精选3篇】。

And the term “in the air” should also be modified simply because there is no air anyway. It is interesting to walk the distance in a whole new style. And it is interesting to see the mother planet from a whole new angle. This big blue crystal sphere, from the pictures taken by those astronauts, the sight is marvelous. And I am dying to see this big blue ball in this style. (108)For teenagers aged between 15 to 18, what is the most important to the teacher?1)the ability to help students plan for future2)the ability to recognize which student needs help andoffer that help3)the ability to encourage students to learn on their own outside of the classroom托福写作三选一类范文Secondary education can be one of the most formative experiences in a person’s life. What qualities make a good high school teacher? People might go for abilities like helping with future planning or encouraging academic autonomy. I, however, believe that the most important factor is the ability to recognize students in need and the willingness to lend a hand. The first beneficiary is underachievers. More often than not, students who fall behind suffer from a low self-esteem. It is especially true for teenagers who find it a disgrace to loseface in front of their peers. In this case, they would stayunder the radar and try to bury their problems in the dark. Nobody would even notice, not to mention offering any help. However, a teacher with a perceptive mind can discover the problem before it gets worse, so that the troubled kid could get proper help. Let’s say a boy whose parents are going through a nasty divorce may show up late at school or miss the deadlinefor science projects. If the teacher can spot his recent anomaly and reaches out to him, the boy might open up and confide to the teacher. This is the first step on the road to recovery and an attentive teacher makes all the difference. To sum up, to benefit high school students to a greater extent, the teachers have to be able to recognize what’s going wrong and what can be done to make it right. Other characterscan be good to have, but also fine to live without.Still one thing, a factory can be very dangerous. Because a fire or a explosion may break out in the factory. If it’s very near our home, it’s quite dangerous.2. Make sure that the factory can deal with the waste properly. Do not release the poisonous gasinto the air, and not release the waste water into the river nearby.3. Make sure the security guard in the factory works very well.1、说出你认为对你最有用的一本书,并解释原因。

A factory, a university or a museum? Explain why.正确答案:I would like to take a foreign friend to visit museums for the following reasons. First, museums give him chances to know better about the past history and culture of the country. When he travels to a new place, he doesn’t know much about the local people and the culture, but visiting museums can provide him with the knowledge about how local people live, what their tradition, lifestyles or food is likeAlso, when visiting museums, my foreign friend will be able to see unique masterpieces or arts and feel the emotion of the artists, which he can’t feel by just watching it on TV or on the Internet. TPO16 综合写作听力+阅读原文ReadingThe United Kingdom (sometimes referred to as Britain) has a long and rich history of human settlement. Traces of buildings, tools, and art can be found from periods going back many thousands of years: from the Stone Age, through the Bronze Age, the Iron Age, the time of the Roman colonization, the Middle Ages, up to the beginnings of the industrial age. Yet for most of the twentieth century, the science of archaeology, dedicated to uncovering and studying old cultural artifacts, was faced with serious problems and limitations in Britain.First, many valuable artifacts were lost to construction projects. The growth of Britain's population, especially from the 1950s on, spurred a lot of new construction in British cities, towns, and villages. While digging foundations for new buildings, the builders often uncovered archaeologically valuable sites. Usually, however, they proceeded with the construction and did not preserve the artifacts. Many archaeologically precious artifacts were therefore destroyed.Second, many archaeologists felt that the financial support for archaeological research was inadequate. For most of the twentieth century, archaeology was funded mostly through government funds and grants, which allowed archaeologists to investigate a handful of the most important sites but which left hundreds of other interesting projects without support. Furthermore, changing government priorities brought about periodic reductions in funding.Third, it was difficult to have a career in archaeology. Archaeology jobs were to be found at universities or with a few government agencies, but there were never many positions available. Many people who wanted to become archaeologists ended up pursuing other careers and contributing to archaeological research only as unpaid amateurs.ListeningIn 1990, new rules and guidelines were adopted in United Kingdom and that had changed the whole feel of Archaeology in that country. The new guidelines improved the situation in all 3 areas discussed in the passage. First, the new guidelines state that before any construction project can start, the construction site has to be examined by archaeologists to see whether the site is of archaeological interest or value. If the site is of archaeological interest, the next step is for the builders, archaeologists and local government officials to get together and make a plan for preserving the archaeological artifacts, either by building around them or by excavating a document in themproperly before the construction is allowed to proceed.Second, an important part of new guidelines is the rule that any archaeological work done on the construction site will be paid for by the construction company not by the government. The construction company has to pay for the initial examination of the site, and then for all the work carried out under the preservation plan. This is whole new source of financial support. The funding from the construction company has allowed researchers to study a far great range of archaeological sites than they could in past. Last, the new guidelines provide a lot of paid work for archaeologists, work that didn’t e xist before. Expert archaeologists are now hired all stage of the process to examine the site for archaeological value, then have to drop the preservation plan to do the researcher and professional scientific manner and finally to process the data and write reports and articles. The increased job career opportunities in Archaeology have increased the number professional archaeologists in Britain which is now the highest it’s ever been.由于篇幅有限,托福综合写作满分范文,在雷哥托福微信公众号获取。

Many archaeologically precious artifacts were therefore destroyed.Second, many archaeologists felt that the financial support for archaeological research was inadequate. For most of the twentieth century, archaeology was funded mostly through government funds and grants, which allowed archaeologists to investigate a handful of the most important sites but which left hundreds of other interesting projects without support.Furthermore, changing government priorities brought about periodic reductions in funding.Third,it was difficult to have a career in archaeology.Archaeology jobs were to be found at universities or with a few government agencies, but there were never many positions available. Many people who wanted to become archaeologists ended up pursuing other careers and contributing to archaeological research only as unpaid amateurs.托福TPO16综合写作听力原文文本:In1990,new rules and guidelines were adopted in United Kingdom and that had changed the whole feel of Archaeology in that country. The new guidelines improved the situation in all3areas discussed in the passage.First, the new guidelines state that before any construction project can start, the construction site has to be examined by archaeologists to see whether the site is of archaeological interest or value. If the site is of archaeological interest, the next step is for the builders, archaeologists and local government officials to get together and make a plan for preserving the archaeological artifacts, either by building around them or by excavating a document in them properly before the construction is allowed to proceed. Second,an important part of new guidelines is the rule that any archaeological workdone on the construction site will be paid for by the construction company not by the government. The construction company has to pay for the initial examination of the site, and then for all the work carried out under the preservation plan. This is whole new source of financial support. The funding from the construction company has allowed researchers to study a far great range of archaeological sites than they could in st,the new guidelines provide a lot of paid work for archaeologists, work that didn’t exist before.Expert archaeologists are now hired all stage of the process to examine the site for archaeological value, then have to drop the preservation plan to do the researcher and professional scientific manner and finally to process the data and write reports and articles. The increased job career opportunities in Archaeology have increased the number professional archaeologists in Britain which is now the highest it’s ever been.托福TPO16综合写作满分范文:The professor explained three aspects of the new guidelines adopted in the United Kingdom, each of which has successfully addressed the problems mentioned in the reading passage concerning the preservation of artifacts, the funding of archaeological research, and career opportunities in archaeology.First, the professor pointed out that according to the new guidelines, any construction project must undergo an evaluation process in order for the archaeological value of the site to be ascertained. If a site is determined to contain precious objects,a panel of experts is convened to draw up a preservation plan. This measure has proven very effective in addressing the first problem mentioned in the reading–careless and irresponsible construction projects being pursued without any regard for archaeological preservation.Second, the lecturer explained that the new guidelines shifted the responsibility for funding archaeological work, from initial examination to future preservation, from the government to construction companies. As a result of this shift, the second problem highlighted in the reading concerning insufficient government funds for archaeological research has been significantly addressed. The professor’s last point concerned the final problem raised in the reading material–a decline in archaeology-related job opportunities. She argued that thanks to the new guidelines, many skillful,full-time archaeological experts and professionals are now needed to handle work at various stages of archaeological investigation, research, and preservation.以上是给大家整理的托福TPO16综合写作阅读原文+听力原文+满分范文,希望对你有所帮助!。

Sample:(请勿抄袭)I myself and my family are huge fans of NBA games. When we are together, it is so exciting to watch a close game. After watching, I often invite my family to play basketball in the court. They often feel surprised for my endless energy, because I am always the last one to surrender after they have been exhausted. Although I sweat like a camel and my face turn red from the heat, I am still full of passion. I guess it is taking exercise regularly that contributes to my vigour. Also, playing basketball not only strengthen our bodies but also turn us more courageous. I really enjoyed playing basketball with my family。

If you could have any job or career you wanted, which would you choose and why?
Give specific details to explain your response.

托福TPO16独立口语Task1满分范文:
If I could have any job I wanted, I would choose to be a writer. There are a couple
of reasons why I want to be writer. Firstly, being a writer doesn’t need to go to
office or a place full of many other people.Writers usually stay at a quiet place
and write articles or books. I enjoy being alone, thinking alone and writing things
alone. Every time I am alone, I write stories. Secondly, I love the art of telling
stories. Writing stories not only pleases myself but may entertain other people, the
readers, as well. I especially like the scene in which people laugh and think when
they are reading my stories.
