从“画蛇添足”到“画龙点睛”——记7BU3英语“跟踪课”上海市青云中学陈绮一、教学背景有效教学、高效教学是学校教育追求的目标,然而目前,在实际教学中,无效的、或效果不佳的课堂教学行为却屡见不鲜。
在我校《课堂教学中的无效行为的成因分析及其纠正策略》的总课题的引领下,我们英语组根据长久以来已经形成的教学特色,即“多信息、高密度、快节奏、勤反馈”,再结合《初中牛津英语信息化教学资源开发》项目累积的经验,提出了“针对课堂教学中多媒体使用情况研究”的子课题。
教研组活动时决定,选出一名踏上工作岗位不久、缺乏教学经验的青年教师和一名经验丰富的成熟教师,进行两轮跟踪听课,然后进行研讨,期待总结出纠正策略,以提高英语多媒体课堂的教学质量。
我很荣幸地被“跟踪了”!信息技术与学科整合一直是现代教育研究的热点问题,信息技术的普及给英语课堂教学改革注入了新鲜的血液,为改变传统的注重认知、灌输、封闭的英语课堂教学模式提供了新思路,然而凡事都有利有弊,在英语课堂教学中过分强调“声、色、彩”,无意注意过多而导致课堂教学流于形式,不恰当地运用多媒体则会失去多媒体辅助教学的意义,使学生在课堂上走马观花,未能由表及里,导致课堂效率事倍功半。
就以(牛津上海版)7B Unit 3 Relatives and their jobs一课为例,我首先在备课组的集体备课基础上,上了第一节课。
上完以后,在教研组长的组织下,全体教研组成员就这节课针对多媒体技术和英语学科整合的低效行为一起进行讨论,指出这节课的优点和缺点,然后我在消化这些讨论的基础上,再次修改教学设计,随后把这堂课再重新上了一遍。
从而达到我上跟踪课的主要研究目的——即有效使用信息技术,减少课堂教学中的无效行为,从而真正提高课堂教学的效益,探讨研究多媒体技术是如何从低效行为转化为高效教学的过程。
二、课堂教学片段片段1:在课文的导入环节,我请学生们进行一个“Look and guess ”的游戏,要求他们根据看到的图片切割方块猜测出所显示的职业,以此来导入教学主题jobs ,以及今天要用到的六种职业(如图1和图2)。
