Distance education is good and bad ？
Distance education means a teaching system consisting of video, audio, and written material designed for a person to use in studying a subject a subject by Internet or other medias. As a new way of learning, distance education is becoming more and more prevalent . I think it is better or than traditional learning styles.
Distance education benefits first is to break the traditional limitations of time and space. Breaking the constraints of time and space to make learning interesting more independent, more convenient. Through radio, audio and television ,we can hear or see a professor's lecture thousands miles away. Through CD-ROM and online learning courses, we can study at home at any time.
Second, distance education helps to cultivate students' self-study ability, teaching take the student as the center, instead of to teachers and classroom as the center of the traditional education pattern .
Third, distance learning provides better opportunities to the students in underdeveloped regions or non-first-class colleges to listen to the authority Professors' lectures. It also makes contribution to the fairness of
education .The number of authority professors is limited, many regions’students have no chance to listen to their lectures .Through distance learning , we not only have the chance to listen to the professors ‘lecture in our country , but also have the chance to study in some famous foreign university on the Internet .
