假如你的朋友要来上海旅游英语作文

假如你的朋友要来上海旅游英语作文

假如你的朋友要来上海旅游英语作文全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1If Your Friend is Coming to Visit ShanghaiHi! I'm so excited because my best friend Mary is coming to visit me in Shanghai next month! I can't wait to show her around my amazing city. Shanghai is the biggest city in China and there is so much cool stuff to see and do. I've been making a long list of all the places I want to take her.First up, we have to go to the Bund! The Bund is this awesome riverfront area in downtown Shanghai with beautiful old buildings from the 1800s and 1900s. Some of the buildings used to be banks and trading houses from Europe and the United States a long time ago. At night, the buildings are all lit up and you can see them reflected perfectly in the Huangpu River. It's breathtaking! Across the river is the iconic skyline of the Lujiazui area with its futuristic skyscrapers like the Shanghai Tower and the bottle opener buildings. We'll definitely take some selfies there. After the Bund, I think we should check out Yu Garden. Yu Garden is this amazing classic Chinese garden that dates back to the 1500s. It has beautiful pavilions, ponds with koi fish, Dragon Wall carvings, and more. The garden feels like stepping back in time. Yu Garden is located in the Old City which has lots of winding alleyways and shops selling tasty street food like soup dumplings and shengjianbao. I'm going to try one of those fancy dresses from the Qing Dynasty era!Speaking of food, we can't come to Shanghai without having authentic Shanghainese cuisine. My dad always takes us to this restaurant in the Former French Concession called Xian Qian Fang. They make the yummiest xiaolongbao (soup dumplings), drunken chicken, and drunken shrimp. Chinese food is the best! For shopping, we'll have to hit up the big malls like the Super Brand Mall in Lujiazui and the Bund Circle Mall. They have all the stores you could ever want from luxury brands to fun novelty shops. I want to get Mary some cute souvenirs. Maybe I'll get her one of those lucky waving cat statues?Of course, no trip to Shanghai would be complete without visiting Disneyland! I'm a huge Disney fan and the Shanghai park is incredible. It has the biggest castle of any Disney park and awesome rides like the TRON Lightcycle Power Run rollercoaster.I've been saving up my allowance to buy us Mickey Mouse ears to wear.If Mary is feeling adventurous, I also really want to take her up to the observation deck of the Shanghai Tower. At 632 meters, it's the second tallest building in the world after the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. Just imagining the view from up there makes me dizzy but excited! There's also so many other awesome things like the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, watching an amazing acrobatics show, taking a Huangpu River cruise, and more. I really wish Mary could stay for a whole month so we could do everything!I'm a little nervous that Mary won't like some of the things that are very different from back home though. Like she might not enjoy the spicy Sichuan food or be weirded out by things like the stinky tofu snacks. And getting around on the metro will be a new experience since there's no English besides the station names. I'll make sure to teach her some basic Mandarin phrases so she doesn't get too lost! But I just know Mary is going to absolutely love Shanghai. It's such a unique mix of modern and traditional, east and west. There's always something interesting around every corner. I feelso lucky to live in one of the coolest cities in the whole entire world! I can't wait to make tons of amazing memories showing her my hometown. Shanghai is the best!篇2If Your Friend is Visiting ShanghaiHiya! My name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. I live in the awesome city of Shanghai with my mom, dad, and little brother Tomo. Shanghai is the biggest city in China and one of the biggest cities in the world! It's a really cool place with tons of fun stuff to do. I'm so excited because my best friend Emma from the United States is coming to visit for two whole weeks this summer!I can't wait to show Emma around Shanghai. There's so many amazing things to see and do here. First up, we have to go check out the Bund. The Bund is this long waterfront area on the Huangpu River with a big wide sidewalk and all these classic old buildings from when Shanghai was the biggest financial center in Asia back in the 1930s. At night, the whole area lights up and you can see the crazy high skyscrapers across the river in Pudong with their bright lights and fancy modern architecture. Mom says we'll take a cruise on the river so Emma can see the awesomeview of the Bund's historic buildings on one side and the space-age skyscrapers on the other side. It's gonna be so epic! After the Bund, we're definitely going to Nanjing Road for some shopping. Nanjing Road is this long pedestrian street absolutely packed with stores and malls and snack stands. You can find anything you want there - clothes, toys, souvenirs, art, you name it. And the snack shops have awesome Chinese street foods like jianbing (a kind of crepe), xiao long bao (tiny soup dumplings), and stinky tofu (it smells gross but tastes amazing!). Emma is going to love the chaos and energy of Nanjing Road.Shanghai has a ton of amazing parks too that we need to check out. My favorite is Fuxing Park right near our apartment. It's got these serene gardens and ponds with koi fish, plus playgrounds and places to fly kites. In the mornings, you can see all the old people doing tai chi, singing opera, or playing chess and card games. Next to the park is the French Concession, a beautiful neighborhood with tree-lined streets andEuropean-style houses and cafes left over from when the French used to control part of Shanghai. Emma and I can rent bikes and just cruise around exploring!Another must-see is the Shanghai Museum, which has an unbelievable collection of ancient Chinese art and historicalartifacts. Even though it's an art museum, it's honestly really fun - you get to see bronzes, jade carvings, pottery, calligraphy, furniture and more from thousands of years ago all the way up to modern times. I'm warning Emma now that she can't take pictures inside though, or the security guards will yell at us in Chinese! For a little break from the city, we'll take Emma to one of the amazing water towns near Shanghai like Zhujiajiao or Qibao. These little canal towns used to be separate villages but now they're inside the Shanghai area. You can take a boat along the canals and see all the old bridges, houses, shops, and gardens dating back hundreds of years. It's like stepping back in time! The towns have yummy local food too like smoked fish, fresh made noodles, and candied fruits.Speaking of food, the xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) in Shanghai are supposedly the best in the world. There's this famous place called Din Tai Fung that I'm dragging Emma to whether she likes it or not! We'll order like 20 baskets of xiaolongbao and see if she can beat me in an eating contest. My record is 26 dumplings - I don't think she can top that! After Din Tai Fung, we can walk it off by exploring the French bakeries onHuaihai Road and treat ourselves to some pastries and macarons.Of course, Shanghai has some weird and wacky stuff too that Emma will get a kick out of. There's this massivemaze of shopping streets under the Science and Technology Museum where you can find literally any weird knickknack or gizmo you can imagine. Then there are the super quirky museum homes, which used to be regular houses that became frozen in time after their owners passed away. You can tour them and see how people in Shanghai lived back in the 1920s to 1940s, with all their old furniture, appliances, and personal belongings still in place! Crazy but really fascinating.I'm already getting tired just thinking about all the sightseeing we're gonna pack into two weeks! On top of the major stuff, we'll want to just wander around different neighborhoods like Xintiandi, Tianzifang, and the Bund cool downtown areas to see the mix of modern and traditional Shanghai culture and architecture. I'm sure Emma has never seen anything quite like the huge fancy office towers and malls right next to little hole-in-the-wall dumpling shops or old neighborhood lanes. The only thing I'm a little worried about is the crazy Shanghai heat and humidity in the summer. Emma is used to the dry California weather, so the thick, heavy air here might be a total shock to her system! We'll make sure to stay hydrated and take breaks in air conditioned places. Maybe we'll even make a stop at the Shanghai indoor ski resort so Emma can escape the heat and get a little taste of winter in the middle of summer.Ugh, I'm getting so impatient waiting for Emma to arrive! There's just so much to show her here in my amazing city. Don't worry, bestie - I'm gonna make sure you have the ultimate, unforgettable Shanghai experience. You'll leave loving this place just as much as me! Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime!篇3If My Friend Came to Visit ShanghaiWow, I'm so excited! My best friend Michael from the United States is coming to visit me in Shanghai next month during summer vacation. I can't wait to show him around my amazing city. We're going to have so much fun together!First, I'll take Michael to see the Oriental Pearl Tower. It's the third tallest tower in the world and has awesome views from the observatories at the top. We can look out over the entire city andsee the mighty Huangpu River winding through the middle. The Pearl Tower has bright colorful lights at night that make it look like a giant shining jewel. Michael will be amazed! After that, we absolutely have to go on a tour of the Bund. The Bund is the famous waterfront area in central Shanghai. It has tons of beautiful old European-style buildings from the 1800s and early 1900s when Shanghai was the most important trading port in all of Asia. Can you imagine what it was like back then with ships from all over the world docking here? So cool! I'll explain all the history to Michael as we stroll along the Bund's promenade beside the river. Then we'll head over to Nanjing Road, the busiest shopping street ever! Nanjing Road is always jam-packed with people shopping, eating delicious street food, and checking out the bright lights and signs. I want to get Michael some classic Shanghai souvenirs like a tiny ceramic version of the Bund's old buildings or maybe an inflatable Michelin man doll. Michelin is a famous French tire company but their mascot is the cutest chubby little guy and he's everywhere in Shanghai. After shopping, we'll ride up to the top of the Shanghai World Financial Center skyscraper. It has the world's highest observation deck on the 100th floor! The entire top swirls aroundin a giant circular aperture, giving 360 degree views over the whole city. We can play "I Spy Shanghai" up there, pointing out famous places in the panorama. "I spy... the Oriental Pearl Tower!" "I spy... the Mercedes-Benz Arena where the basketball players play!"For lunch, I'm taking Michael to have some classic Shanghai xiaolongbao soup dumplings. They're so yummy with the hot flavorful soup inside the dumpling! But you have to slurp them up carefully or the soup will squirt out and burn your mouth. I'll show him the proper way to eat xiaolongbao by picking them up with chopsticks, making a tiny hole in the side, drinking the soup out first, then dipping the dumpling in vinegar before popping it in your mouth. Mmm my mouth is watering just thinking about it!In the afternoon, we can't miss the famous Yu Garden with its beautiful classic Chinese architecture and gorgeous little gardens with koi ponds and rock sculptures. I'll teach Michael about things like moon gates, dragon carvings, scholar rocks, and more. Maybe we can even watch a traditional Chinese opera show there. The singers have such powerful voices and wild makeup! For dinner, I think Michael needs to try a Squirrel Fish from the Huangpu River. It's a special crunchy-skinned river fish that is one of Shanghai's most iconic foods. We'll go to one of the old outdoor food plazas to eat it. I'm not sure if Michael will like it because the fish eyes are staring right at you on the plate, but he's got to try it at least once! After dinner we can walk along the Bund again and see it all lit up at night. So pretty with the lights reflecting on the river! Maybe we'll take a fun tourist boat cruise along the Huangpu to see the bright lights of the Pudong area's futuristic skyscrapers from the water. On our second day, I'll take Michael out to the fantastic Shanghai Museum. It has an amazing collection of ancient Chinese art, pottery, jade carvings, furniture, and more. We'll spend hours looking at all the cool artifacts and learning about China's rich history and culture. Then we can't leave Shanghai without visiting the Yuyuan Garden Bazaar. It's a giant colorful mall filled with traditional Chinese stores selling stuff like silk clothing, handmade chops (stamps), gorgeous rosewood carvings and furniture, and every kind of Chinese snack you can imagine. I know we'll wanderaround picking up all kinds of random treats and gifts to bring home.If we still have time and energy before Michael goes home, I'd love to take him to Disneyland! There's a massive Disney park in the Pudong district of Shanghai. We can go on all the rides, meet the characters, and see the incredible shows and parades. I've only been once for a Chinese student field trip, but it was the best time ever. I'm sure Michael would get a big kick out ofDisney's cool Tomorrowland Area since he loves technology and space stuff back home.Writing this all out is making me so excited for Michael's visit! Shanghai has so many incredible things to see and do. I just know he's going to fall in love with my city. We're going to make amazing memories together seeing the sights, trying all the delicious local foods, and learning about the rich history and culture here. I can't wait for him to arrive in a few weeks! Bring on the adventures!篇4If My Friend Came to Visit Me in ShanghaiHi! My name is Lin Lin and I am 10 years old. I live in a big city called Shanghai in China. Shanghai is a really cool place withlots of fun things to see and do. If one of my friends came to visit me here, I would take them to all the best spots!First off, I would take my friend to see the Oriental Pearl Tower. It's this giant tower that kind of looks like a huge rocket ship or maybe a bright pink tornado! You can go right up to the top and look out over the whole city. The view is amazing, you can see everything! My favorite part is the glass floors at the very top - you can walk on them and look straight down which is super scary but really fun. After the Pearl Tower, we would definitely have to go see the Bund. The Bund is this long road right along the Huangpu River with all these classic old European-style buildings on one side. Across the river is the new super modern skyscraper part of Shanghai called Pudong. At night they have lights on all the buildings which makes it look like bright shining jewels! During the day you can walk along the Bund and it's nice but at night is when it's most beautiful. They also have cool shows where the buildings light up with different colors and patterns while music plays.Shanghai has some great parks too that I'd want to show my friend. My favorite is Fuxing Park because it has these old Chinese garden areas with little ponds and rock gardens andcurvy bridges. There are also playgrounds and places to fly kites and stuff. Sometimes they have little festivals in the park where you can see traditional Chinese things like opera singers and tai chi masters. Yu Garden is another nice classic garden in the middle of the city that we would visit. It was first built all the way back in the 1500s!We couldn't come to Shanghai without doing some shopping! Nanjing Road is this long pedestrian shopping street that goes on forever with every kind of store you can imagine. They have stores for clothes, toys, snacks, souvenirs, you name it. It's always jam packed with people and there are lots of snack vendors selling things like candied strawberries and sugar pastries. I love wandering around looking at all the crazy clothes and gadgets and stuff. For a real traditional shopping experience, we'd have to visit one of the old alleyways called lòngtáng. These are sort of like linenster town neighborhoods lined with little shops and restaurants. You can find all kinds of hole-in-the-wall stores selling antiques, artworks, handicrafts, and every kind of delicious Chinese snack foods. My favorite lòngtáng is Tianzifang - it's got a really cool artsy vibe with little galleries, cafes with livemusic, and tons of tiny shops selling quirky accessories and home goods. And of course, you can't forget the food! Shanghai has some of the yummiest foods in the whole world in my opinion. For breakfast, I'd take my friend to get jian bing, which is this amazing egg crepe stuffed with scrambled eggs, crispy wonton crackers, cilantro, and usually a sweet sauce. Or maybe xiaolongbao - those addictive little soup dumplings! For lunch, maybe some shengjianbao or pan-fried pork buns. Dinner would have to be Ningbo小牛肉noodles, which are these thick chewy noodles in a crazy delicious beef broth. And we'd get yangchunxiaren for dessert - those squishy little rice balls stuffed with black sesame or peanut filling and covered in sugar! There's just so much fun stuff to do in Shanghai, I don't think we'd ever get bored! We could go to some of the amazing museums like the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum or the Shanghai Museum of ancient Chinese art and artifacts. Or catch an awesome acrobat show at era Circus World. Take a ride on the insanely fast Maglev train that goes over 300 km/hr! Go up to the top of the newly opened Shanghai Tower for the craziest view in town. Play at the indoor ski resort inside the Cool Docks shopping mall. And so much more!Shanghai is just such a vibrant, energetic, amazing city. I'm sure if my friend came to visit we would have an absolute blast exploring all the different areas, trying all the fantastic foods, and experiencing the incredible mix of modern and traditional culture here. My friend would leave with so many incredible memories and experiences from one of the coolest cities on earth!篇5Here's a 2000 word essay in English, written from the perspective of an elementary school student, about a friend coming to visit Shanghai:My Best Friend is Coming to Visit Shanghai!Hi everyone! I'm so excited because my best friend Amy is coming to visit me in Shanghai next month. She has never been to China before, so I'm going to be her tour guide and show her all the coolest places in my amazing city!Amy lives in America, which is on the other side of the world from Shanghai. She has to take a reeeeeally long flight to get here - I think it's like 15 hours! That's a crazy long time to be stuck on an airplane. I don't know how she's going to handle sitting still for that long. I'd go bonkers! Amy said she's going tobring a ton of stuff to keep herself entertained like books, magazines, her tablet to watch movies, and even a portable gaming console. Smart thinking, Amy!When Amy gets off the plane, the very first thing I'm going to do is take her to get some xiaolongbao! Xiaolongbao are these amazing little soup dumplings that are one of the most delicious foods in Shanghai. You pick them up with your chopsticks and nibble a tiny hole in the dough to slurp out the hot, yummy broth inside before popping the whole dumpling in your mouth. Mmm my mouth is watering just thinking about it! Amy has never had xiaolongbao before and I can't wait for her to try them. After getting our xiaolongbao fix, I'm going to bring Amy to the Bund, which is this really pretty area along the Huangpu River. One side has all these classic old European-style buildings and the other side has all the famous futuristic skyscrapers that Shanghai is known for. We can take some super cool photos there! Amy loves taking pictures so I know she'll love the Bund. Maybe we can get one of those people who dress up in traditional Chinese costumes to take a picture with us for a few kuai. The next day, I think we'll go to Yuyuan Garden, which is this enormous traditional Chinese garden right in the middle of the city. It has beautiful pavilions, rock formations, ponds, and even a bazaar where you can buy all kinds of souvenirs and snacks. We'll definitely get some candied strawberries on a stick while we're there - they're one of my favorite Shanghai street snacks! For dinner one night, I'll take Amy to a night market. Night markets are these incredible places where you can find the most amazing and bizarre street foods. We can get stinky tofu (it smells way worse than it tastes, I swear!), shengjianbao which are these crazy soup dumplings where the broth and filling stay separated until you bite into it, jianbing which is kind of like a Chinese burrito, and douzhi which are sweet, sticky rice balls. Amy is such a picky eater at home, but I'm going to push her to try some new and weird foods! That's part of the fun of traveling.Ooh and we also have to go to the Circus World section of the city and see an acrobat show. The acrobats in Shanghai do the most amazing flips, human pyramids, and contortions. Their shows are so cool! There's no way Amy has ever seen anything like that back in her small town.Of course, one of the biggest highlights of Amy's trip will be going up to the TOP of the Shanghai Tower, which is the tallestbuilding in China and second tallest in the world. We'll be able to see the entire city from up there! Maybe we'll even do one of those crazy walking tours on the outside of the building way up in the air. That would be so scary but so epic.I can't forget to take Amy shopping on Nanjing Road, which is one of the biggest shopping streets on the planet. We can go crazy buying clothes, toys, snacks, knickknacks, and souvenirs for all our friends and family back home. Amy's suitcase is going to be stuffed to the brim by the time she leaves! There's so much more I want to do with Amy while she's visiting, like going to Disneyland, taking a river cruise on the Huangpu, eating soup dumplings at Din Tai Fung, and maybe even doing a day trip to one of the amazing water towns nearby like Zhujiajiao or Qibao. This is going to be the best few weeks ever! I just hope Amy doesn't get too tired or overwhelmed by how amazing, crowded, and non-stop Shanghai is.I've been looking forward to Amy's visit for months and I've been studying hard to learn some simple English phrases so I can communicate a little better with her. Like "Hello!", "Thank you", "Where is the bathroom?", "That was delicious!", and "Wow, so cool!" I'm still learning though, so I'll probably just end up talking to her in Chinese most of the time. Amy doesn't know anyChinese yet, but maybe after spending time here she'll pick up a few words! No matter what, I'm going to make sure Amy has the absolute BEST time while she's here. Shanghai is the greatest city in the whole world and I can't wait to show it off to my best friend from across the globe. This is going to be an adventure we'll never forget! See you soon, Amy!。

At the sound of the whistle, you have to jump up from a sound sleep and, with heavy-lidded eyes, hurry to the gathering place where you are collected and counted to board acoach. At the sight of the little flag waving, you must immediately take yourself away from the scenes you are marveling at and follow the guide whose sole interest is to cover all spots according to him strict schedule, regardless of the weather or your health condition.True, you may encounter inconveniences if you travel individually, for instance, getting accommodations for the night and finding a place for meals.
