☆形容词的比较级☆当我们需要对事物作出比较时，需要用到比较级。
比较级的句子结构通常是：什么+ 动词be (am , is , are ) + 形容词比较级+ than（比）+ 什么,如：I’m taller and heavier than you. （我比你更高和更重。
）An elephant is bigger than a tiger. （一只大象比一只老虎更大。
）形容词的比较级是在形容词的基础上变化而来的，它的变化规则是：①一般的直接在词尾加er ，如tall - taller , strong - stronger ,②以e 结尾的，直接加r ，如fine –finer ,③以辅音字母加y 结尾的，先改y 为i 再加er，如funny - funnier④双写最后的字母再加er ，如big –bigger, thin –thinner ,hot –hotter什么叫开音节？开音节分两种，一种叫绝对开音节，相对开音节。
①绝对开音节：单个元音字母后面没有辅字组的重读音节。
例如：no blue ba-bystu-dent se-cret.②相对开音节：单个元音字母后面加单个辅音字母，再加一个不发音字母 e 构成的重读音节。
例如：name these bike home ex-cuse.什么叫闭音节？单个元音字母后面有辅字组（r wy 除外）且以辅字组结尾的重读音节。
例如：bag egg fish not cup英语读音---> 开音节和闭音节1．开音节1）以发音的元音字母结尾的单节。
例：be，he。
2）以辅音字母（r 除外）+不发音的 e 结尾的音节。
例：make，like 。
* 在重读的开音节中元音字母按字母名称读音。
2．闭音节以一个或音字母（ r 除尾只有一个元音字母，。
例： map ，desk ，is 。
* 中元音做短元音。

形容词副词的比较级与最高级
一.定义
比较级comparative degree在英语中通常用下列方式表示的词：在形容词或副词前力卩more(如 more natural,more clearly ) 或加后缀-er(newer,sooner ) 。
典型的是指形容词或副词所表示的质、量或关系的增加。
英语句子中，将比较两个主体的方法叫做“比较句型”。
其中，像“A 比B更……”的表达方式称为比较
级。
组成句子的方式是将形容词或副词变化成比较级的形态。
二.形容词、副词比较级和最高级有规则变化和不规则变化
(1)一般情况下，单音节或双音节的形容词(或副词)比较级+ er最高级+ est clever —cleverer —cleverest few —fewer —fewest small —smaller —smallest 等(2)以e结尾的词，比较级+ r，最高级+ st即可
n ice —ni cer —ni cest cute —cuter —cutest large —larger —largest
(3)以辅音字母+ y结尾的变y为i + er或est
easy —easier —easiest happy —happier —happiest
再如：early , busy , heavy , dirty , lazy . 也如此
(4)双写最后一个辅音字母+ er或est的词同学要用心去记。

(5)多音节和部分双音节的词需要在形容词原级前+ more构成比较级,+ the most 构成最高级。
