1. 设置任务。 教师向学生说明本节课的任务是“写一段简短的家乡的天气预报并与同学分享。”让学生明确本节课的教学目标是：By the end of the lesson, you will be able to:
Identify(识别) the weather icons . Talk about your weather chart. Write a short weather report. Share the weather report. 让学生明确本节课的学习目标，旨在使学生有目的地进行学习，能给学生一定的思维启示，明晰自己的学习思路，课后容易检验自己的学习效果。
2. 复习引入。 教师采用头脑风暴的活动，辅之以天气符号，利用板书的发散型思维导图引导学生复习有关天气的词汇，构成词汇网。学生通过观察板书（图1），教师引导其通过构词法的不同发现合成词，并带领学生学习本课的目标词汇：thunderstorm，thunder shower，sunrise，sunset；然后找出书中其他合成词；最后通过完成书中练习let’s do it3检验自己的学习效果。

3. 学习课文。
1）学生听课文，初步整体感知文本信息，并从中获取有关天气预报的信息，边听边做听力记录。教师要求学生在相关信息下划线，指导学生进行听力活动时的学习策略。听力结束后，

weather rainy 问一问学生都划了什么内容，并引导学生对这些内容进行归纳，总结出谈论天气预报的四个要素：the date；the weather；the temperature；the exact time of sunrise and sunset。
2） 学生阅读课文。通过回答细节性问题进一步理解课文，并通过think-pair-share谈论天气预报的活动以及用关键词进行天气预报的口头表达，以说促写，初步建构天气预报的写作框架。 What’s the date today? What’s the weather like? What’s the temperature? What’s the exact time of the sunrise and sunset?
3）学生帮助Danny完成天气预报。通过完成书中练习let’s do it1的活动，学习完整的天气预报，对之前的口头表达以写的形式进行梳理，使思路更流畅。接着教师引导学生说一说天气预报中有用的句子。学生除了说出含有四要素的句子，教师还要引导学生关注文中“Hello everyone.” “There will be…” “Maybe there will be…”等句子，帮助学生了解天气预报的通俗自然性以及客观概括性特点。
4）学生听天气预报。通过听一段天气预报的范例，完成书中练习let’s do it2的活动。教材中的听力练习本身就是一个培养学生听力策略的活动设计，学生在听的过程中集中精力获取天气预报的四要素，并记录下来完成表格，巩固强化天气预报的写作框架。
4. 谈论天气预测表。 学生先将表格填完整，然后与同伴谈一谈自己对未来两日天气的预测，如果认为有不合适的地方（如：天气与温度不符等），互相给出意见更正。 5. 写天气预报。 1）学生根据自己的表格，写一天的天气预报。教师在学生写作的过程中关注他们的写作情
