The Government of the People‟s Republic of China has applied a loan from the WorldBank towards the cost of Project and it is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the Contracts of this Project.2. Bidding shall be open to only those bidders from eligible source countries as definedunder the “Guidelines for Procurement” of the World Bank who are prequalified based on satisfactory evidence of previous comparable experience and capacity to perform this work, including equipment, personnel and financial resources.3. China International T endering Company (ITC) is authorized by World Bank FinancedProject Office of Project (Employer), now invites applications for prequalification from eligible potential bidders for furnishing the necessary labor, material, equipment and services for the construction and completion of Project.The Project comprises road works, structures and safety facilities/ telecommunication pipelines. The works will be carried out under 10 Contracts as follows:Contract No.1……Contract No.2……………………Contract No.10……This time only Contract No.1 to Contract No. 8 shall be applied for prequalification.The prequalification for Contract No.9 and Contract No. 10 will be invited on next step.Applicants may apply to prequalify for one or more of the above Contract packages depending on its experience and capacity.4. Interested eligible potential bidders may obtain further information and prequalificationdocuments from the office of ITC whose address is shown below between 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (Beijing time) (weekend and holidays excepted) from October 7 to November10 .
