山西省人民医院检验科英文简介Introduction of Department of Clinical LaboratoryClinical Laboratory of Shanxi provincial people’s Hospital is a comprehensive laboratory integrating medical care, teaching and scientific research.. This department was established in 1954, when Shanxi provincial people’s hospital was founded. Through the endeavour of several generations, This department has developed a multi-specialized Laboratory with advanced equipment and management based on a simple Lab with only “three routine test”.There are 46 members of staff in the department. Among them there are 1 chief technician , 3 associate-chief technicians , 21 senior technicians , 11 technician-in-charges ,6 doctors, 2 nurses and 2 workers in charge. The percentage of educational background above junior college degree in the department is about 85%, in which there are 12 masters, 3 returnees after studying abroad. The average age of the staffes is about 34.2 years old.The department has 12 professional laboratories including Biochemical Lab, Immunology Lab, Bacteriodiagnosis Lab, Molecular biology Lab,Cellular genetics Lab, Morphology Lab, body fluid Lab, hemorheology Lab, Chemiluminesence Lab, Flowcytomietry Lab, Specific protein Lab and Coagulation & hemostasis Lab. The department has developed up to 500 detection items and many special experiments, the quantity tops the first-class hospitals in Taiyuan. The daily experimental workload is about 1500 samples. and we are also responsible in the various health-care works of senior carders.The department possesses about nearly 100 advanced international equipments with total assets about 2400 million yuan, which are purchased respectively from America, Germany, France, the Netherlands and Japan, and some are firstly introduced or the one and only in domestic China. This instruments are : Automatic biochemistry analyzer, Automatic coagulation analyzer, Automatic specific protein analyzer, Automatic hematology analyzer, Automatic microbiology analyzer, Flowcytometry Analyzer, Real time flurescence PCR Analyzer, Acid-Base balance analyzer, Automatic time differential flurescence immunology analyzer, HbA1c HPLC analyzer, Trace elements analyzer and so on. Laboratory Information System(LIS) was also established linked to Hospital Information System(HIS) with comprehensive information serving a variety of patients.The department obtained 6 research project, 2 on provincial level and 4 on hospital level. And 1 harvested the leading place in the home field. Every year every member publishes thesis on the medical magazine above provincial level. Meanwhile we receive about 50 students and persons with Lab experience each year who come to the hospital for advanced study.In order to ensure the detection result can be sent to the patients with accuracy, reliability and in time, our department has established a series of strict rules and regulations, which manage respectively in each steps before, during and after the analysis without any omission. Our department has a set of complete management system for inspection report, which carries out thesystem of triple-checking before, during and after the inspection until the results are given. The Lab carries out the quality control rules and regulations strictly, trailing and controlling the instruments everyday, we not only ensure the control of the quality inside the Lab, but also actively participating in the inter-lab quality control with other labs in the city, in the whole country; so we get excellent scores in this area, and has become the advanced group of quality control continuously for years.。

Introduction of Department of Clinical Laboratory
Clinical Laboratory of Shanxi provincial people’s Hospital is a comprehensive laboratory integrating medical care, teaching and scientific research.. This department was established in 1954, when Shanxi provincial people’s hospital was founded. Through the endeavour of several generations, This department has developed a multi-specialized Laboratory with advanced equipment and management based on a simple Lab with only “three routine test”.
There are 46 members of staff in the department. Among them there are 1 chief technician , 3 associate-chief technicians , 21 senior technicians , 11 technician-in-charges ,6 doctors, 2 nurses and 2 workers in charge. The percentage of educational background above junior college degree in the department is about 85%, in which there are 12 masters, 3 returnees after studying abroad. The average age of the staffes is about 34.2 years old.
The department has 12 professional laboratories including Biochemical Lab, Immunology Lab, Bacteriodiagnosis Lab, Molecular biology Lab,Cellular genetics Lab, Morphology Lab, body fluid Lab, hemorheology Lab, Chemiluminesence Lab, Flowcytomietry Lab, Specific protein Lab and Coagulation & hemostasis Lab. The department has developed up to 500 detection items and many special experiments, the quantity tops the first-class hospitals in Taiyuan.
