在此之前也学过一些有关环境的词汇，且本单元属于九年级最后阶段的总复习单元，在课文中陆续呈现之前的语法知识如现在完成时，被动语态，情态动词的用法等。
但是目前的学生在学习英语的过程中所真正欠缺的是将英语作为一门语言真正运用于生活中。
另外还有一部分学生在课堂上不够积极，对英语不感兴趣，还需要教师精心的设计学生感兴趣的教学活动。
