在英语中，钟点时刻的表达除了用阿拉伯数字(如8:10,12:45)外，还可以用以下几
种表达方式。
◆当时间是整点时，可用“钟点数+o'clock”来表达，其中o'clock可以省略。

11:00→eleven(o'clock)
◆当时间不是整点时，表达方式有以下两种：1)钟点数+分钟数。如：

本单元概述
本单元主要学习谈论日常活动。要求学生能用英语表达正确的时间；能熟练叙述日常生活活动；并且学会合理安排时间，加强时间的计划性。语言知识方面将学习有关本话题的词汇；学习并能运用一般现在时描述日常行为；能理解和表达相关信息，如时间和个人情况介绍，能参照课本中的短文，写出介绍自己或他人日常生活的短文或书信等。
教材分析
本单元要求学生重点掌握时间表达法与运用一般现在时描述日常生活活动。难点在第三人称单数的掌握与准确使用。因此，整个单元的教学应围绕这两个重点设计各种形式的活动与任务。
单元教学建议
1．为了提高课堂教学效果，教师应充分利用教材所提供的典型素材，精心设计各个细节的场景，增强一般现在时学习的趣味性。学完该单元后，可引导学生自述一天的生活或让学生写自己家人一天的生活安排。
2．教师在教Section B中的3a，3b内容时，注意男女写信结尾不同之处，建议参看教参Unit
11“Cultural Note”中的文化知识背景介绍。
