Yesterday, I took the final exam of this term. I worked hard to prepare for it, but I was still nervous. I was afraid that Icould n’t do it well. I had three exams, Chinese, math and English. In the morning, it was the Chinese. It was not so difficult for me that I was sure I could be good in it. Then, it was math in the afternoon. It’s the part I was afraid of most. Not surprised, I met some troubles in math exam. But I still hope they wouldn’t be serious. I am good at English, so I didn’t worry about it. I knew I can do well in it. In short, the final exam was not so hard for me and I am quite sure the scores will be perfect.昨天,我参加了这学期的期末考试。

介绍一个你喜欢的体育运动英语作文高中英语全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Sport: FootballHey there! I'm gonna tell you all about my absolute favorite sport - football! It's the best game ever and I love everything about it. Get ready, cause I'm gonna lay it all out for you.First off, let me explain the basic rules and objective. Football is played on a 100-yard long field with two end zones at each end. There are two teams of 11 players trying to advance an oval-shaped ball down the field by running with it or throwing it. The main goal is to get the ball into the opposite end zone, which scores 6 points called a touchdown. On offense, the team with the ball has 4 chances (called downs) to advance at least 10 yards. If they do, they get a new set of 4 downs. But if they don't gain 10 yards after those 4 tries, the ball goes to the other team. The offensive players are the quarterback who throws the ball, running backs who run with it, receivers who catch passes, and big offensive linemen who block the defense. On defense, the 11 players try to tackle the ball carrier, block passes, and prevent the offense from scoring. The defensive guys are linebackers, cornerbacks, safeties and d-linemen. It's a total battle between the offence trying to score and the defense stopping them! After a touchdown, the scoring team can try for 1 or 2 extra points with a kick through the goalpost or another play from a certain yard line. Games go back and forth like this for four15-minute quarters until time runs out. The team with the most total points wins! Now let me tell you why football is just SO incredibly awesome. First of all, the hard hits and crazy physical gameplay are insane! Watching a linebacker de-cleat a running back or a safety smash a receiver is heart-poundingly intense. You'll be jumping out of your seat on every bone-jarring tackle. Talk about action! But football isn't just about brute force. It's also a super strategic game with tons of different offensive and defensive schemes. I love seeing brilliant game plans unfold as quarterbacks audible at the line, running backs pick up blitzes, and defensive coordinators dial up exotic zone blitz packages. The chess match between coaches is fascinating.Football also requires an amazing mix of athletic skills - speed, strength, agility, leaping ability, hand-eye coordination. You have to be such a freak athlete to make it at the highest levels. Watching Patrick Mahomes sling a 70-yard frozen rope or Aaron Donald manhandle 300-pound linemen is just ridiculous.Let's not forget the pure entertainment value too. Football games are an all-day event with tailgating, crazy fans painting their bodies, mascots getting the crowd hyped, and high-octane atmosphere. Every game comes down to clutch drives andlast-second theatrics that will have you emotionally drained! Plus the hilarious touchdown celebrations and smack talking between players is endlessly amusing.Still not convinced football is king? How about the sheer statistics and data behind the game? You've got publishedodds, fantasy sports, advanced analytics measuring every aspect of performance. A football genius can handicap teams by analyzing complex metrics like QB ratings, 3rd down percentages, red zone efficiency, time of possession, and on and on. Numbers geeks will be in total nerd heaven disecting the numbers! At the college level, Saturday football is more than just a game - it's a deep-rooted American tradition. Raucous student sections, marching bands, alumni tailgates, team mascots, and atribalism that is unmatched across the sports world. When your school's rivals come to town, it's an all-out spectacle that you'll never forget being a part of.In the NFL, the Sundays spent watching pro football have become a weekly ritual for millions of fans. Spanning from the early afternoon games spanning across the country to Sunday Night Football and the culmination of primetime action, it's a full day's commitment to cheering on your favorite team and players. The fantasy football obsession only adds another layer of intense fandom and investment in the on-field product.Whether attending games in-person amongst tens of thousands of rabid fans or watching from home while smashing beverages and chips, the atmosphere and camaraderie surrounding football Sundays creates an unrivaled sense of community bonding. At its core, it's about much more than just football - it's about creating shared experiences and memories with friends and loved ones. And that's not even mentioning the epic buzz surrounding the NFL playoffs and Super Bowl every year! For weeks, the hype and anticipation builds to a fever pitch surrounding the biggest annual sports spectacle. The Super Bowl itself is a de facto national holiday, with outrageous spending on food, drinks, TVviewing parties, and insane prop bets. It's an American institution unlike anything else. From the hard-hitting action and brilliant strategy to the overall sense of tradition, spectatorship, and belonging - football is simply the greatest game on earth. It's a proud Display of amateur/professional athleticism and teamwork. It's an event that brings communities together through the emotional bonds of Fandom. It's pure entertainment distilled into its most dramatic and unscripted form. That's why I love football more than any other sport. The athleticism, the big plays, the tenacity, the cerebral strategy, the over-the-top showmanship, the longstanding cultural significance - it all combines to make America's game the most compelling live spectacle you'll ever experience.Football is more than just a game. It's a way of life that creates indelible memories and impact that transcends the playing field. So get on board and join the millions who bleed their team's colors. I promise you'll be hooked for life after your first taste of football ecstasy!篇2Here's an essay introducing a sport I like, written in English from the perspective of an elementary school student. The essay is around 2000 words long.My Favorite Sport: BasketballHi there! My name is Tommy, and I'm a 10-year-old kid who loves playing basketball. In this essay, I'm going to tell you all about why basketball is the coolest sport ever and why you should give it a try too!First of all, let me explain the basics of basketball. It's a game where two teams of five players each try to score points by throwing a ball through a raised hoop or basket. The team with the most points at the end of the game wins. Simple, right? But don't let the simple rules fool you – basketball is an action-packed, exciting game that requires a lot of skill and teamwork. Players have to dribble the ball up and down the court while avoiding the other team's defenders. They have to pass the ball quickly and accurately to their teammates, and then try to shoot the ball into the hoop from different angles and distances. One of the things I love most about basketball is the fast pace of the game. It's like a constant back-and-forth battle, withteams scoring points and then immediately trying to stop the other team from scoring. The score can change really quickly, which makes every second of the game super intense and exciting!Another great thing about basketball is that it's a sport that anyone can play, no matter how tall or short you are. Sure, being a bit taller can help when it comes to reaching the hoop, but I've seen some really amazing shorter players who make up for their height with their speed, agility, and shooting skills. It's all about practice and finding your own unique strengths on the court.Speaking of practice, that's probably my favorite part of playing basketball. There's always something new to work on and improve – whether it's dribbling with your weak hand, perfecting your jump shot, or learning new defensive moves. Every time I step onto the court, I feel like I'm getting better and better, and that feeling of progress is super satisfying. But basketball isn't just about individual skills – it's also a great team sport that teaches you the importance of cooperation, communication, and trust. On the court, you have to work together with your teammates, passing the ball around, setting screens, and calling out plays. It's like a well-choreographeddance, and when everything clicks and you execute a perfect play, it's an amazing feeling of unity and accomplishment.Off the court, being part of a basketball team also teaches you valuable life lessons. You learn about sportsmanship, respect for your opponents, and how to handle both victory and defeat with grace. You build strong friendships and bonds with your teammates that can last a lifetime. And let's not forget about the physical benefits of playing basketball. It's an excellent cardiovascular workout that gets your heart pumping and your muscles working. Running up and down the court, jumping for rebounds, and constantly moving your body helps you stay fit, healthy, and full of energy. But enough about the technical stuff – let me tell you about some of my favorite basketball memories and moments. Like the time I hit the game-winning shot at the buzzer in a super close game against our biggest rivals. Or when my team won the championship tournament after months of hard practice and dedication. Or even just the simple joy of playing a pick-up game with my friends at the local park on a sunny day.Basketball has also taught me valuable lessons about perseverance and resilience. There have been times when I've struggled with my shooting or had a string of bad games, butI've learned to keep practicing, stay positive, and never give up. Every setback is an opportunity to learn and grow, both on and off the court. And let's not forget about the amazing role models and inspirations that basketball provides. From legendary players like Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and Kobe Bryant, to the talented athletes in the WNBA and college leagues, there's no shortage of incredible basketball stars to look up to and admire. So there you have it – my passionate ode to the wonderful world of basketball. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a complete beginner, I encourage you to grab a ball, find a court, and give this amazing sport a try. Who knows, you might just catch the basketball bug like I did and discover a lifelong passion that brings you joy, fitness, and invaluable life lessons.Just remember: have fun, work hard, and always keep that competitive spirit alive. Because at the end of the day, that's what basketball is all about – bringing people together, challenging themselves, and creating unforgettable moments of triumph and camaraderie. So what are you waiting for? Lace up those sneakers andlet's hit the court! Basketball is calling, and trust me, you won'twant to miss out on all the excitement and adventure that this incredible game has to offer.篇3My Favorite Sport: BasketballHi everyone! I'm going to tell you all about my absolute favorite sport - basketball! Basketball is the coolest game ever and I love everything about it. I've played basketball ever since I was a little kid and can't imagine my life without it.First of all, let me explain the basic rules of basketball for anyone who doesn't know. Two teams of five players each try to score points by throwing a ball through a raised basket or hoop. The team with the most points at the end wins the game. You move the ball around by dribbling (bouncing) it or passing it to teammates. If you take too many steps without dribbling, that's a "traveling" violation. You can't just hold the ball either, you have to keep it moving by dribbling or passing. When you have an open shot, you try to throw the ball through the hoop to score points. A shot from closer is worth 2 points and a shot from farther away is worth 3 points. Games are divided into quarters with short breaks in between for teams to rest and strategize. Now let me tell you why I love basketball so much! First of all, it's a really exciting game to watch. There's constant action and the score is always changing. Games can come down to the last second with crazy buzzer-beaters to win it all! I get so pumped up watching basketball, cheering for my favorite players and teams. But even more than watching, I love playing basketball myself. Running up and down the court, working as a team, taking shots and scoring - it's just an amazing feeling. Basketball really works your whole body too. You have to be quick on your feet for dribbling and cutting to the hoop. You need hand-eye coordination to pass, catch and shoot the ball accurately. Jumping is super important to grab rebounds and get those sweet slam dunks. And you have to be tough and have endurance to run sprints for the whole game.Playing basketball teaches you so many valuable lessons too. You learn about being a good teammate by moving the ball around and creating scoring chances for each other. You practice discipline by following the rules and listening to your coaches. Hard work pays off as you get better through practicing your skills over and over. You build confidence by taking and makingbig shots in tough situations. And you learn perseverance by never giving up even when you're behind on the scoreboard. My biggest basketball role篇4My Favorite Sport: BasketballHi there! I'm going to tell you all about my absolute favorite sport - basketball! I've been playing basketball since I was a little kid and I love everything about it. Shooting hoops, dribbling the ball, and being part of a team are just the best feelings ever. Get ready to hear why basketball is the coolest game around!First off, let me give you some background on how I got into basketball. When I was 7 years old, my parents signed me up for a youth recreational league. At first, I wasn't sure if I would like it. The court looked so big and I was pretty short back then. But as soon as I started dribbling the ball and taking some shots, I was hooked! There was just something magical about the feeling of the ball in my hands and seeing it swish through the net.Over the years, I've played on all kinds of basketball teams - rec leagues, travel teams, and now I'm on my high school varsity squad. No matter what level I'm playing at, I get such a rushevery time I step onto the court. The sounds of squeaking sneakers, the smells of the gymnasium, and the sights of teammates going for rebounds gets my heart pumping with excitement. But what really makes basketball so awesome? I'd say there are a few key reasons why it's the best sport:Reason #1: Basketball is a fast-paced, high-scoring gameUnlike some other sports that can be kind of boring with little scoring, basketball has constant action and scoring. You see amazing plays happening all the time - players driving for huge slam dunks, knocking down three-pointers from way downtown, or making slick passes for easy layups. Just wave after wave of non-stop motion and scoring. It's never a dull moment!Reason #2: Basketball takes a unique mix of skillsTo be a great basketball player, you need an impressive blend of physical talents like speed, leaping ability, hand-eye coordination and overall athleticism. But you also need to be smart - moving without the ball, knowing the right play to make, and having court awareness are crucial mental aspects. It takes the total package of physical tools and basketball IQ to be an elite player.Reason #3: The thrill of the clutch momentSome of the most exciting times in basketball are during crunch time at the end of a close game. Will the team make that game-winning shot as the clock ticks down? Or pull off that electrifying defensive stop to clinch the victory? Having the ball in your hands with the game on the line is both nerve-wracking and incredibly thrilling if you come through in the clutch. Hitting the game-winner is a feeling like no other!Reason #4: Being part of a true team environmentWhile basketball does have big individual stars, at its core it's a total team game where everyone needs to work together to succeed. Constant communication on offense and defense, making the extra pass to the open teammate, crashing the boards as a unit - it takes buy-in and chemistry from everyone to win games. Some of my greatest memories are from bonding and celebrating with my teammates after tough wins.Reason #5: The culture and global reach of basketballBasketball has become a worldwide phenomenon with fans and pro leagues all over the globe. Icons like Michael Jordan have made the game so popular through their legend and impact. Basketball's culture of cool sneakers, highlight dunks, and fandom is just unmatched. Traveling to different places, I've been able to connect with people through our shared love of hoops. Basketball brings people together in a really unique way. Those are some of the biggest reasons why basketball is simply the best game out there. Of course, every sport has its great aspects too. But for me, nothing can top the thrill of basketball and how it combines athleticism, strategy, teamwork and drama into an endlessly entertaining and engaging experience.Whether I'm playing in a big game, practicing my dribbling moves, or just shooting around for fun, basketball is my ultimate passion. The joy it brings me is really hard to put into words. It challenges me to be a better player and teammate, but also lets me simply enjoy the pure fun of the game. I see basketball paving the way for wherever my future takes me, as the life skills and relationships I've gained will last forever. So that's my take on why basketball takes the crown as the greatest sport of all! The non-stop action, variety of skills, will to win, team camaraderie, and global culture make it incredibly special. If you're not already a basketball fan, I hope I've convinced you to give it a shot and discover its magic foryourself. Maybe I'll see you out there on the court sometime soon going for that game-winner as the clock winds down!篇5My Favorite Sport - BasketballHi everyone! Today I want to tell you all about my absolute favorite sport - basketball! Basketball is super fun and exciting. I've been playing it since I was a little kid and I just love everything about it. Get ready because I'm going to tell you all the awesome details!First, let me explain what basketball is for anyone who might not know. It's a game played on a flat rectangular court with two teams of five players each. The main goal is to score more points than the other team by throwing a ball through a raised hoop or "basket" at each end of the court. Easy enough, right? But there's a lot more to it than that! The court itself is pretty big - 94 feet long and 50 feet wide. Right in the middle is the center circle where the game starts with one player from each team jumping up to try and tip the ball to their teammates. That's called the jump ball. Once someone gets control of the ball, they have to dribble it up anddown the court by bouncing it. You're not allowed to just run while holding the ball or that's a violation called traveling. On each team there are different positions for the players. There are two guards whose job is to dribble the ball up the court and make long shots from outside. The small forward and power forward are kind of middles sizes who play closer to the basket for shots, rebounds (grabbing the ball after a missed shot) and defending. Then there's the center, who is usually the tallest player and plays right around the basket for up-close shots, rebounds and blocking shots on defense. To score points, you have to shoot the ball through that raised hoop I mentioned. If you're behind that three-point arc line, a shot is worth 3 points. Inside that line, shots are worth 2 points. And if you get fouled (touched too hard by a defender in certain ways), you get to take free throws which are worth 1 point each from a special line closer to the hoop. The game moves so fast and there's always something exciting happening! Players are running up and down constantly, passing to teammates, shooting, rebounding, stealing the ball from each other on defense, and dunking the ball (throwing it down through the hoop with both hands)! The score goes back and forth like crazy. And the players are just incredible athleteswho can jump super high, change directions in a flash, and have amazing stamina to keep that intense pace going. There are four quarters in a basketball game that last 12 minutes each, with a halftime break in between the second and third quarters. And let me tell you, those 48 minutes just fly by because it's impossible to take your eyes off all the non-stop action! Players call out plays, coaches yell out strategies from the sidelines, the refs blow their whistles like crazy, fans are cheering and chanting, cheerleaders are dancing, and the whole gym has an incredible energy that just sucks you in. It's completely exhilarating and thrilling from start to finish! My favorite part of basketball is how super competitive and emotional it is. The players get so intensely focused, diving on the floor for loose balls, trash talking with opponents to try and psych them out, pounding their chests and roaring with primal screams after huge dunks or clutch shots. And the fans are just as intense, living and dying with every play. When the final seconds are ticking down in a close game and both teams are fighting tooth and nail, the atmosphere is just electric and overwhelming. Arenas feel like they're literally shaking from all the noise and energy. Just thinking about it gets my heart racing! But win or lose, after every game both teams line up and shake hands to show respect for each other's effort. Because even though basketball brings out incredible passion and fierceness on the court, it's still just a game and players know that their opponents are their equals who love the sport just as much as they do. And that sort of friendly but fiery rivalry spirit is one of the things that makes basketball so amazing in my eyes.So that's my overview of the incredible sport of basketball! It has everything - action, strategy, athleticism, emotion, drama. I try to watch or play as much as I possibly can because it's honestly the most fun and fulfilling thing ever for me. Whether you're a player or just a fan, basketball has a way of really inspiring you, getting your blood pumping, and reminding you that with hard work, teamwork, perseverance and heart, you can make your dreams come true. At least, that's how I feel when I step onto that court! Whew, I could probably go on for like 10 more pages about how much I love this sport. But I'll wrap it up here. Thanks for reading, and I hope this inspires some of you to get out and play some basketball too! Peace out!篇6My Favorite Sport: BasketballHi there! My name is Tommy and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you all about my absolute favorite sport - basketball! Basketball is the coolest game ever and I love everything about it. Get ready to hear why it's so awesome.First of all, the main reason I love basketball so much is because it's really fun to play. Dribbling the ball up and down the court and taking shots at the hoop is just an absolute blast. Whenever I'm on the basketball court, I have a huge smile on my face the whole time. It makes me feel free and happy!Another awesome thing about basketball is that it's a team sport. That means you get to play alongside your friends and classmates, working together to try and score more points than the other team. Passing the ball to your teammates and celebrating when they make a basket is the best feeling. It makes the whole game even more exciting and fun.Speaking of scoring, I love how there are different ways to score points in basketball. You can score by making shots from far away which are worth 3 points. Or you can drive in close to the hoop for 2 point shots. And if you get fouled, you can score points from the free throw line too! Racking up the points is a huge thrill. The rules of basketball are pretty simple once you get the hang of it, which I like. You dribble the ball up and down the court and pass it to teammates without traveling (taking too many steps). The only thing you have to be careful about is not double dribbling or holding the ball too long. It's easy to pick up for beginners.Of course, no sport is perfect, and there are a couple little things about basketball that aren't my favorite. First of all, it can sometimes get pretty physical and rough under the basket when players are battling for rebounds. I've gotten bumped and knocked down before, which isn't very fun. Another thing is that the basketball shoes can be kind of stinky after a long game! But overall, those tiny negatives are nothing compared to how unbelievably awesome basketball is. It's crazy fast-paced and high-scoring, with players running up and down the court taking crazy shots. When the crowd gets involved and is cheering like crazy, it amps up the atmosphere even more. Games often come down to the very last seconds and can have wild, heartbreaking or euphoric endings. It's just pure,adrenaline-packed excitement!Probably my favorite part of all is the opportunity to work on my skills and get better through practice. Spending hours in thedriveway or park taking jump shots and doing dribbling drills never gets old to me. It's incredibly satisfying to see your hard work pay off as your shooting percentage and ball-handling improves over time. Mastering the skills of an awesome sport like this builds discipline and confidence.I could keep rambling forever about why basketball is so epic, but I'll wrap it up. In summary, it's wildly entertaining, teaches teamwork, rewards effort and practice, and is scored in creative ways. For a kid like me who loves being active and competitive, it's literally the perfect game. I honestly can't imagine life without basketball! It will always be my #1 favorite sport. So that's my take on why basketball is so incredibly awesome. If you haven't tried it yet, go find a court and give it a shot as soon as you can! You'll see what I mean from the very first dribble. Thanks for letting me geek out about my favorite thing. Catch you later!。

用英语写自己喜欢的体育运动的作文35字全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Sport is BasketballHi there! My name is Timmy and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you all about my favorite sport, which is basketball! Basketball is just the best game ever. It's so much fun to play and to watch too.I first started playing basketball when I was about 7 years old. My dad got me a Little Tikes basketball hoop for my birthday and I loved it right away. I would spend hours outside shooting hoops and working on my dribbling skills. My parents could see how much I liked it, so for my next birthday they signed me up for a youth basketball league. At first, I was a little nervous to play on a real team with other kids. But as soon as I started practicing with them, I felt right at home on the basketball court. The coach taught us all the rules and basic skills like dribbling, passing, shooting, and defensive moves. I picked it up pretty quickly since I had already been practicing on my own. What I love most about basketball is how fast-paced and exciting it is. You're always running up and down the court, trying to get open for a shot or steal the ball from the other team. There's nonstop action from the jump ball to the final buzzer. And when you finally make that game-winning shot, it feels absolutely amazing! Like you're a superstar in the NBA.Speaking of the NBA, my favorite professional basketball team is the Los Angeles Lakers. I'm a huge fan of LeBron James - he's one of the greatest players ever. His athleticism and court vision are just unbelievable. I've watched so many of his games and seen all his amazing dunks and clutch shots. I try to model my game after his and imagine I'm him when I'm on the court. But basketball is way more than just running and shooting for me. It's also taught me so many important lessons about hard work, teamwork, and good sportsmanship. In practice, we have to push ourselves and keep drilling those dribbling and shooting drills over and over until we get them right. It's not easy, but working hard pays off once the games start.During games, you have to work together as a team to execute plays, make smart passes, and get back on defense. You can't just go one-on-one against the other team - you have to involve all your teammates. And win or lose, you have to be agood sport, shaking hands with the other team after and not showing off or getting angry. The coaches really emphasize good sportsmanship. Some of my best friends are my teammates. We've been playing together for a few years now, and have developed a really special bond, like a second family almost. We love hanging out together at practice and games, but also getting together outside of basketball too. Whether it's sleepovers, videogames, or just goofing around outdoors, we always have tons of fun.Our team has actually been pretty successful over the years. We've won a couple league championships and even made it to the state tournament once (though we didn't win that). Getting to play in big arenas and having all our family and friends cheering us on was just an incredible experience I'll never forget. When I'm older, I hope I can keep playing basketball, maybe for my middle school, high school, or even college team if I'm good enough. A couple of my teammates actually want to try to make it to the NBA one day. While that's probably a longshot, I'm just happy pursuing my passion for this amazing game. There's really nothing quite like the feeling of sinking a big jump shot, coming down with a huge rebound, or dishing out a beautiful assist to a teammate for an easy layup. Not to mentionall the great exercise you get running up and down the court. If you've never really tried basketball before, I highly recommend giving it a shot. You might just start loving it like I did!Well, that's about all I have to say about my favorite sport of basketball. It's been a huge part of my life pretty much as long as I can remember. The competition, camaraderie, and love of the game itself has taught me so many valuable lessons already at my young age. I'm sure basketball will continue to positively impact me for many years to come, whether as a player, coach, or just a huge fan. Thanks for reading, and maybe I'll see you out there on the court someday!篇2My Favorite Sport is BasketballI really really love playing basketball! It's my favoritest sport ever. Basketball is so much fun and I'm pretty good at it too. I first started playing basketball when I was 6 years old. My dad taught me how to dribble and shoot the ball. At first I wasn't very good, but I kept practicing and practicing in our driveway. Now I'm 10 years old and I play basketball all the time. I'm on my school's basketball team and we have games almost every weekend. I get so excited on game days! I wake up early and eata really good breakfast with lots of protein like eggs and peanut butter on toast. Protein gives me energy to run around a lot during the game. Before every game, my team does warm-up exercises together to get our bodies ready. We do stretches like touching our toes and windmill arms. Then we run some laps around the basketball court to get our hearts pumping. After that, we practice dribbling drills and doing layups to warm up our basketball skills. Once we're all warmed up, we huddle together and do our team cheer - it gets me so psyched up to play! When the game starts, the referee blows the whistle and we get into our positions on the court. There are 5 players from each team on the court. We have a point guard, shooting guard, small forward, power forward, and a center. I'm usually the shooting guard because I'm one of the best shooters on my team. My job is to dribble the ball up the court and try to make baskets from the outside. The game is super fast-paced and exciting! We sprint up and down the court, dribbling and passing to our teammates. Whenever someone gets the ball near the basket, we all yell "Shoot it! Shoot it!" It's awesome when the ball goes swishing through the net. Scoring points feels so good! But the otherteam is always trying to steal the ball from us and score points too. Sometimes there are struggles for the ball and players end up on the ground. You have to be tough and not be afraid of some contact. The best is when you get on a hot streak and keep making basket after basket. Last game I made 5 three-pointers in a row! Everytime I let the ball fly from behind the three-point line and it went swish through the hoop, I could hear my parents and friends in the bleachers cheering loudly for me. That's the best feeling ever.Basketball games are usually divided into 4 quarters with a halftime break in the middle. During halftime, we drink Gatorade and eat orange slices to rehydrate and refuel for the second half. The coach gives us a pep talk about how we're playing and what we need to focus on. We get a short rest and then it's back to running and sweating on the court again! The end of the game is always so intense. The score is usually really close and both teams are desperately trying to pull ahead. The clock ticks down and you have to fight for every loose ball and rebound. Sometimes games even go into overtime if the score is tied at the end of regulation time. That's super thrilling but also super exhausting. One overtime game went into tripleovertime before we finally won by 2 points! Phew, I was completely drained after that one.Win or lose, at the end of every game both teams line up and hi-five each other to show respect. It's disappointing when we lose, but we always have another game coming up soon to try to get a victory. There are plenty of chances to work hard, play our best, and have fun. After games, I'm always starving from running around so much. I drink lots of water and chocolate milk to rehydrate and refuel my muscles. I'll eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, some fruit, and maybe a granola bar too. All that fuel helps me recover for the next practice or game.I love being on a basketball team with my friends. We practice together twice a week to work on different skills and strategies. At practice, we run lots of drills like dribbling through cones, passing to teammates, and doing shooting competitions. It's hard work but it makes us better players. We also watch videos of professional basketball players to try to learn new moves from them.My favorite professional basketball player is Stephen Curry because he's such an amazing shooter. I try to model my jump shot just like his. I put tons of arcs on my shots and have beenworking on my rainbow three-pointers from way downtown. My dream is to be as good a shooter as Steph Curry one day!Besides playing actual games and practices, I love just shooting around for fun too. I'll go to the park or my driveway and shoot baskets for hours working on my form and trying new trick shots. Shooting basketballs is so satisfying - there's nothing better than the swish sound when the ball goes perfectly through the net.Sometimes my friends and I just play pick-up games at the park against whoever else shows up. We divide into teams and play full court games to a set score like 15 or 21. No refs or coaching, just hustling on every play and calling your own fouls. The games can get kinda crazy but that's half the fun.I watch a lot of basketball on TV too, especially during March Madness for the college basketball tournaments. Watching all the big games and buzzer-beaters is so exciting and inspiring. It makes me want to go straight outside and practice my shot after.I always stick around after the games to watch the player interviews too. I love hearing about the big stars' pregame routines and how they prepare mentally for huge games.Basketball is just the best sport ever. I love the fast pace of the games, all the running and jumping, and the pressuresituations at the end. It's so rewarding to work hard at your skills and see your shooting percentage improve. Making agame-winning shot at the buzzer would be the ultimate dream!I plan on playing basketball all through middle school, high school, and hopefully even in college someday. I have goals of being the team captain and leading my squad to championship wins. Who knows, maybe I'll even make it as a professional basketball player in the NBA if I keep working hard and taking tons of shots everyday. I know as long as I push myself, Basketball will always be my absolute favorite sport and passion. Nothing beats the feeling of nailing the game-winning shot at the buzzer!篇3My Favorite Sport - Soccer!Hi there! My name is Tommy and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you all about my absolute favorite sport in the whole wide world - soccer! I just love everything about it. Kicking that round ball, running up and down the field, and scoring amazing goals. Soccer is the best!I've been playing soccer for as long as I can remember. When I was just a little kid, probably around 4 or 5 years old, myparents got me this cute little soccer ball. It was so tiny compared to a real one, but to me it was perfect. I would dribble it around our backyard for hours, pretending I was a famous soccer superstar. I'd imagine myself playing in huge stadiums in front of thousands of cheering fans. Even back then I was a soccer fanatic! Then when I turned 6, my parents signed me up for the local youth soccer league. I was so excited to finally play on a real team with other kids my age. On the first day of practice, I remember walking onto that bright green field feeling like a pro athlete. The smell of freshly cut grass, the sun shining down - it was magical. From that moment on, I was hooked.Over the years I've played many positions - forward, midfield, defense, even goalie once! But my favorite spot is definitely striker. There's nothing better than getting a beautiful pass, taking on defenders, and ripping a shot into the back of the net. Feeling that rush of scoring a goal is just indescribable. Absolute euphoria! What really makes me love soccer though is the teamwork. Celebrating a goal with your teammates after you all worked together so hard to make it happen. Pushing each other in practice to get better every single day. Picking your friends upwhen they're feeling down after a tough loss. That camaraderie and brotherhood you build is really special. Some of my best memories are from soccer - whether it was winning a championship with my squad, going to soccer camps and bonding over our shared passion, or just having an epic game of pickup in the park with my buddies. No matter what, just being out on that field with a ball at my feet puts the biggest smile on my face.My dream is to play professional soccer one day. Can you imagine? Getting to play the sport I love more than anything as my actual job?! How crazy would that be? I know it's a long shot and I'll have to train harder than ever before. But a kid can dream, right? I'll never stop chasing that dream no matter what.Even if I don't make it as a pro though, soccer will always be a huge part of my life. The life lessons it has taught me about hard work, determination, teamwork, and perseverance will stick with me forever. Not to mention the friendships I've made and All the amazing memories. So yeah, that's why soccer is just the absolute best sport in the world to me. From dribbling around as a little kid to now playing super competitive games, this sport has brought me somuch joy over the years. Putting on those cleats, stepping onto that field, and kicking around a soccer ball is likemy happy place. If you've never really gotten into soccer before, I highly recommend giving it a chance! Sign up for a local league or just go kick a ball around with some friends. Whether you're a kid or an adult, athlete or not, soccer is a game that anyone can enjoy.Who knows, you might just fall in love with "the beautiful game" like I did all those years ago. The next Messi or Alex Morgan could be you! Okay, maybe not...but you'll have a blast either way.Well, that's all I've got for now. Thanks for reading all about my obsession with soccer. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got a big game to get ready for! Time to lace up my boots, stretch, and get focused. Let's go get that W today, team!篇4My Favorite Sport is BasketballHi there! My name is Alex and I'm going to tell you all about my super duper favorite sport - basketball! Basketball is the coolest game ever and I love playing it more than anything. It'sso much fun dribbling the big orange ball, running up and down the court, and trying to shoot that ball through the net. Swish!I first started playing basketball last year when I was in third grade. My mom signed me up for a youth basketball league at our local rec center. At first, I wasn't sure if I would like it. It seemed kind of hard having to dribble and run at the same time without traveling or getting called for double dribble. But after a few practices, I started getting the hang of it.Our first game was against the Roadrunners. I was so nervous my stomach felt like it had a million butterflies fluttering around in it. When the referee blew the whistle to start the game, I dribbled out on the court shaking like a leaf. But then my teammate Danny passed me the ball. I caught it, looked up at the basket, said a little prayer, and shot. Swish! Nothing but net! That calmed my nerves and from then on I loved every second of basketball. What I love most about basketball is how it's a total team sport. You have to work together, pass to the open player, set screens, and play tough defense. It's not just about one person trying to be the hero and score all the points. The best teams have unselfish players who put the team first.Of course, I also love shooting baskets and driving to the hoop for a layup. There's nothing more satisfying than leaving your feet, floating through the air in slow motion, and gently rolling the ball off your fingertips into the net. Buckets! It's an incredible feeling.I'll never forget the championship game last season. It came down to the final seconds and we were trailing by one point. Danny stole the ball and passed it to me as I streaked down the court all alone. I took one dribble, gave a little pump fake, and let it fly from downtown. The ball seemed suspended in the air for an eternity before gently swishing through the net as the final buzzer sounded. We had won! We dogpiled at center court and I was at the very bottom with the wind knocked out of me but smiling from ear to ear. What a moment! That just goes to show that you can't give up. Basketball, like life, has its ups and downs. You might miss some shots or make mistakes. But you have to shake it off, keep your head up, and keep battling. Hard work, practice, and never giving up pays off in the end.I love basketball for so many reasons. The running, the jumping, the camaraderie with teammates, the intensity and competition, and of course the sweet sound of "swish" when younail a three pointer. To me, basketball isn't just a game. It's a way of life that teaches amazing lessons about teamwork, perseverance, hustle, and most of all having fun.No matter how old I get, I know basketball will always have a special place in my heart. I dream of playing in college and maybe even the NBA one day. But even if that doesn't happen, I'll never stop shooting jump shots and working on my game. Because when that ball is in my hands and I'm out on the hardwood, I feel truly alive and free. There's no better feeling in the world than playing the game I love - basketball!篇5My Favorite Sport Is BasketballHi there! My name is Timmy and I'm in the 5th grade. Today I want to tell you all about my absolute favorite sport - basketball!Basketball is the coolest game ever. It's fast-paced, exciting, and there's always something happening. Theourt has bright colored lines and a giant hoop at each end that's really high up. The ball is this big orange sphere that you dribble and shoot through the hoop to score points.I love the sound of the bouncing ball and sneakers squeaking on the shiny wood floor. It gets me pumped up just thinking about it! The best part is trying to make a basket from way downtown. When the ball goes swishing perfectly through the net, it feels like magic. On my team, I usually play point guard because I'm pretty small and fast. My job is to dribble the ball up the court and make passes to my teammates so they can take shots. But sometimes if I'm open, I'll pull up and shoot a jumper too!I've been playing basketball since I was in kindergarten. My dad is really tall and was a hoops star back in his day, so he's been teaching me ever since I could walk. We have this hoop in our driveway and we'll go out there for hours just shooting around.Dad showed me all the different kinds of shots - layups, jump shots, free throws, three-pointers. He also taught me dribbling moves like the crossover, hesitation dribble, and behind-the-back. I work on my ball handling skills every single day because good dribblers are really hard to guard. My favorite NBA player is Steph Curry because he's a smaller guy like me but has some of the sickest handles and shooting ability ever. The way he can drain threes from just aboutanywhere on the court is unreal. I try to model my jump shot after his perfect form.Basketball really is a team game though. You have to pass the ball around and get everyone involved. My friends and I will play these epic games of 21 or knockout in the park near my house for hours after school. It's so much fun to compete and talk a little trash to each other when someone pulls off a slick move.Sometimes we pretend we're in the NBA Finals or hitting the buzzer beater to win the championship. We'll yell out the make-believe stats and do those fancy NBA handshakes and celebrations when someone drains a big shot. I swear it feels just like the real thing! The best though is when I get to play in real games with my rec league team, the Thunder. There's nothing better than running real plays, setting picks, and battling against another squad of players. Everyone gets pumped and the adrenaline is seriously bumping. Our coaches are always preaching about the fundamentals - boxing out, pivoting, passing to the open man, and taking high percentage shots. It's so satisfying when you execute the offense perfectly and get an easy layup or wide open jumper.Defense is really important too. You've got to master moving your feet, getting into a stance, going for steals, and contesting shots without fouling. Whenever I get a huge block or am able to rip the ball away for a steal, it's the ultimate rush.Win or lose, after every game we always have to line up and give the other team a good sportsman-like high fives or handshakes. That's just having respect for the game and your opponents. Nobody likes a bad sport who gloats after a win or pouts after a loss.I just love every little thing about basketball - the sounds, the sights, the feelings of performing dribble moves or nailing a big shot. To me, there's no better sport in the world. Just being out on the court with my teammates, working hard, and having a blast is what it's all about. In the future, I hope I can keep getting better and better. Maybe I'll be able to make my middle school team, then high school, and who knows - possibly even play in college someday if I'm really lucky! No matter what though, basketball will forever be my absolute favorite game to play. Buckets for life!篇6My Favorite Sport is Soccer!Soccer is the best sport ever! I love playing soccer more than anything. It's so much fun to run around and kick the ball. Soccer is my absolute favorite thing to do after school and on the weekends. On my soccer team, I'm a striker, which means I try to score goals. Being a striker is the coolest position because you get to shoot on the goal a lot. Sometimes I'll be dribbling the ball down the field, and defenders will come try to steal it from me. I have to act quick and deke around them. If I can get past them, then I have a chance to take a shot on the goal!Scoring a goal is the most awesome feeling. When you boot that ball right into the net, it's like fireworks are going off inside you. You just want to cheer and do a crazy celebration dance. After I score, I'll run around with my arms out like an airplane and all my teammates will come jump on me. It's the best.My team is called the Red Rockets and our uniforms are so cool. They are bright red with yellow stripes on the shoulders. I love putting on my jersey, shorts, tall socks and cleats before every game and practice. As soon as I have those on, I'm in soccer mode and nothing else matters except playing my hardest.During practices, we do lots of drills like dribbling through cones, passing to partners, and shooting on the goal. My favorite drill is when we scrimmage and get split into teams. I take it super serious and act like it's the World Cup final. I get a rush of adrenaline and butterflies in my stomach when the scrimmage starts. All that matters is trying to score more goals than the other team.Sometimes at practice, I'll get in trouble for not listening to the coach. He'll be explaining a drill and I'll be daydreaming about scoring the game-winning goal. I really should pay more attention, but soccer is just so fun that it's hard to think about anything else! When it's game day, I get sooo nervous and excited. In the car on the way to the game, I'll listen to music to get myself hyped up. As soon as I see the field and goals, I can't wait to start playing. Before the game starts, we get into a huddle with the coach and do a cheer. Then it's time to warm up and get ready for the kickoff. The games are only an hour long, but they feel like crazy blurs when I'm playing. I'll be running as hard as I can, dribbling and shooting and sometimes even getting shoved over. If I get knocked down, I'll hop right back up. No way I'm going to letthat stop me from trying to score! By the end, I'm completely exhausted and sweaty, but it's always worth it.Win or lose, after every game our team has a tradition of going out for pizza or ice cream. Those post-game parties are a blast. We'll all be still wearing our jerseys as we chow down on pepperoni pies or banana splits. We rehash all the best moments from the game and make plans for next time.I've made so many good friends from being on the Red Rockets. My best friends in the whole world are my soccer buddies. We have an inseparable bond from all the practices, games, wins, losses, celebrations and familiafamiliar What bonds us together. Soccer is our shared passion and love. That's why soccer isn't just my favorite sport, it's my favorite thing, period. Nothing gets my heart beating faster or makes me happier than playing the beautiful game. When I'm old, I'll still be playing soccer, even if it's just in the park kicking a ball around. Soccer is my life!。
