英文科技论文的写作要点
英文科技论文的写作要点总体原则（3C）：Correct (正确)，Clear (清楚)；Concise (简洁)。
1 论文题名1.1 基本要求(1) 准确(Accuracy)。
题名要准确地反映论文的内容。
作为论文的“标签”，题名既不能过于空泛和一般化，也不宜过于烦琐，使人得不出鲜明的印象。
如果题名中无吸引读者的信息，或写得不堪理解。
为确保题名的含义准确，应尽量避免使用非定量的、含义不明的词，如"rapid"，"new"等；并力求用词具有专指性，如"a vanadium-iron alloy"明显优于"a magnetic alloy"。
(2) 简洁(Brevity)。
题名需用词简短、明了，以最少的文字概括尽可能多的内容。
题名最好不超过10 ~ 12个单词，或100个英文字符（含空格和标点），如若能用一行文字表达，就尽量不要用2 行（超过2行有可能会削弱读者的印象）。
在内容层次很多的情况下，如果难以简短化，最好采用主、副题名相结合的方法，如：Importance of replication in microarray gene expression studies: statistical methods and evidence from repetitive CDNA hybridizations (Proc Natl Acad Sci USA, 2000, 97(18): 9834 ~ 9839). 其中的副题名起补充、阐明作用，可起到很好的效果。
(3) 清楚(Clarity)。
题名要清晰地反映文章的具体内容和特色, 明确表明研究工作的独到之处，力求简洁有效、重点突出。
为表达直接、清楚，以便引起读者的注意，应尽可能地将表达核心内容的主题词放在题名开头。
如The effectiveness of vaccination against in healthy, working adults (N Engl J Med，1995, 333: 889-893)中，如果作者用关键词vaccination作为题名的开头，读者可能会误认为这是一篇方法性文章：How to vaccinate this population? 相反，用effectiveness作为题名中第一个主题词，就直接指明了研究问题：Is vaccination in this population effective? 题名中应慎重使用缩略语。

四、如何评价科研论文
评论研究问题： (1)看提出的问题是否有研究价值，研究内容有无指导意义，研究 结果能否应用到实践中。 (2)论文立意是否有创新，是否有重复别人的工作，即使是同一个 主题也要不断增加新内容、新方法。 (3)看研究问题的发生率是否高，问题是否带有普遍性。 (4)论文标题是否具体、鲜明、确切和具有吸引力。

3、科学性和准确性 、
所谓科学性，就是要正确地说明研究对象所具有的特殊矛盾， 并且要尊重事实，尊重科学。具体说来，包括论点正确，论据 必要而充分，论证严密，推理符合逻辑，数据可靠，处理合理， 计算精确，实验重复，结论客观，等等。 所谓准确性，是指对客观事物即研究对象的运动规律和性质表 述的接近程度，包括概念、定义、判断、分析和结论要准确， 对自己研究成果的估计要确切、恰当，对他人研究成果(尤其是 在做比较时)的评价要实事求是，切忌片面性和说过头话。

三、标题的写法
学术文章的标题主要有三种结构： 名词性词组(包括动名词)，介词词组，名词词组+介词词组。 也用一个疑问句作标题(多用在人文社会科学领域)。 一般不用陈述句或动词词组作标题。

名词性词组由名词及其修饰语构成。 名词的修饰语可以是形容词、介词短语，有时也可以是另一个 名词。 名词修饰名词时，往往可以缩短标题的长度。 以下各标题分别由两个名词词组构成。例如： Latent demand and the browsing shopper (名词词组+名词词组) Cost and productivity (名词+名词)

科技英语阅读与写作总结（由能动C91班左成艺、马瑜加、岳芸帆、陈聚凯、周楠、王帅、闫泽群、洪海峰、俞森彬、耿嘉锋共同完成）一、考试题型：英译汉；汉译英；（主要是词组、短语）阅读理解；写作；（给一篇文章写英文摘要）考题全部为主观题，无客观题。
二、关于英文摘要的一些基础知识：1.概述：摘要是不加评论和补充解释，简明、确切地记述文献重要内容的短文。
2.所含部分：一般摘要分为背景、目的、研究方法、结果和结论五部分；考试的时候由于是给指定的文章写摘要，所以不必按照正式的摘要格式写，建议可以先通读全文，理解文章的中心内容，找出各段的主题句，然后把各主题句串起来，写出一篇摘要。
3.注意事项：1)注意格式，要先写上abstract，然后空两格写内容，内容整体写成一段；2)尽量使用第三人称，比较客观，不要加注释评论等；3)最好不要出现图表、公式、化学结构式等，也不要出现不为人知的缩写；4)不要全部写成所给文章中的原句，第一句开头部分不要与论文标题部分重复；5)用词要概念明确、判断恰当，少用带有感情色彩的词，少使用行话、俚语等，避免使用词义模棱两可、隐晦不明的词语，如：maybe,perhaps，would like等;6)注意时态的选用，研究的目的一般用现在时；方法、手段或步骤可用过去时、现在时、现在完成时；结果常用过去时；结论常用现在时。
时态有时要求不一定非常严格，可根据实际情况合理选用，不过尽量少用进行时；7)可以使用一下被动语态，因为被动语态较为客观，不过也不可过多，以免出现过多“is”，“was”等系动词；三、一些重要的语法:1.否定句的译法：英语的否定形式是一个常见而又较复杂的问题，在表达否定句时，英语与汉语有很大不同，主要体现在词、语法、逻辑三方面。
（1）.部分否定：a. All gases do not have a characteristic smell.并非所有的气体都有特殊的气味。
b. In a thermal power plant , all the chemical energy of the fuel is notconverted into heat.在热电站中，燃料燃烧的化学能并不能完全转化为热能。
（2）.形式肯定，意义否定：a. The subject is quit beyond him.这门课是他所不能理解的。
（3）.形式否定，意义为肯定：a. We can‟t be too careful in doing experiments.我们在做实验时无论怎么认真都不过分。
b. Nobody could be too foolish this day.今天你无论出洋相到什么程度都不算过分。
（4）.加修饰词强调否定：a. His last three experiments were not nearly so well done as the earlierones.他近来的三次实验做得远不如早期的实验那么好。
常见形式为：never/not/no/none +at all或whatever等not +副词nearly/half/possibly（5）. 双重否定:a. The outcome of the experiment was not half bad.这个实验的结果相当好。
