一、教学背景分析(1)教材分析本课是牛津译林出版社初中英语教材九年级下册的第二单元《Great people》第二课时阅读课教学。

第二单元的主题是“伟人”。

介绍了尼尔·阿姆斯特朗的生平和登月经历。

我们受益于前人创造的劳动果实,要让学生了解并铭记为全社会全人类做出杰出贡献的人们。

现阶段的学生崇拜各种流量明星,他们认为帅、美、潮流是最重要的。

通过本节课学习,希望他们明白真正的美是伟人身上无私的精神和无畏的勇气,以及在某一领域不停歇的钻研和定力,这远比外表和形式上的华丽和时尚重要。

(2)学情分析授课对象是初三学生,已有几年学习英语的经历。

本班学生水平参差不齐,有些孩子基础薄弱,但大部分学生有想用英语表达的愿望。

因此借助多媒体,让学生多参与、多体验,增强他们的自信心,使他们敢于说英语、乐于说英语。

对于基础过于薄弱的学生,以鼓励为主,课上让他们回答一些简单的问题,课后成立了学习小组,以一帮二的形式小组合作学习。

二、教学目标(1)让学生了解传记文体,了解阿姆斯特朗的生平以及登月经历。

(2)通过小组合作的方式巩固新知,提高学生的合作意识及查找信息的速度与准确度。

(3)培养学生了解太空奥秘的兴趣,让学生意识到钻研精神和毅力勇气对于人生的重要性。
