一、说标。
《英语新课程标准》中说：英语教学的目的是培养学生运用语言进行交际的能力，为用而学，在用中学，学了就用，因此，我把本课的教学目标定位为以下几个方面知识与能力目标：三、说体系四、说流程。
五年级学生在听说读写各方面都有一定量的积累，对于新句型的学习需要反复的操练才能够巩固。
针对本校学生的学情，我设计了以下教学过程：Ⅰ. Warm--up1. Greeting2Lead in ：Guessing game课件出示人物图片，学生根据提示图片猜人物的职业。
(设计意图：利用猜一猜的游戏，复习学过的关于职业的单词，活跃课堂气氛。
)New words & sentences相同方式教授新单词“factory worker, postman, businessman, police officer”。
并根据图片教学句型“What does he\she do?” ,引导学生回答。
(设计意图：利用猜一猜的游戏学习本课的新单词，在单词中贯穿需要学习的句型，在句中巩固单词，了解单词的运用。
在学习单词的时候，图片能让学生更直观地记忆所学单词。
)Listen and repeat出示所学单词的图片，教师播放单词录音，让学生模仿并跟读。
Read the words教师指定单词，学生一组一组地读单词。
（设计意图：先让学生模仿录音中单词的读音，然后再来检查学生是否掌握了所学单词，此时可以及时纠正学生的发音。
）Ask and answer通过课件出示职业图片，请学生根据所给的对话提示，说一说自己爸爸妈妈的职业。
（设计意图：这里设计的游戏一方面巩固了所学单词，也操练了了本课时的句型，同时也能让教师更好地了解学生的掌握情况。
