Sony HandyCam Instruction ManualRecord a video1.To get started, open the LCD screen.2.3.The camera should automatically turn on. If it doesn’t, press the “Power” button to turn thecamera on.4.Gently remove the lens cap by pulling out on the lens.5.Position the camera where you want to record. You can flip the LCD display to show you whatthe camera is recording.6.7.Press the “Menu” button in the top left corner of the screen. Then navigate to “ImageQuality/Size.” Ensure the “Dual Video REC” feature is on. If it is, click the “X” in the top left corner of the screen and navigate to “Shooting Mode.” Now select “Movie” to record a video.8.Next, press the red button in the bottom left corner to begin recording OR, if you are using theremote, press the red button on the remote to start recording.9.Record a test video to ensure the video looks and sounds like you want it to. You can zoom inand out by pressing the “T” (zoom in) or “W” (zoom out) on the screen or on the remote.View a recorded video1.Press the “Menu” button on the top left side of the screen. Then, press the “PlaybackFunction” button on the bottom left of the screen. Next, choose “Event View” and select the date you recorded on. Then, press the image of the video you want to watch.2.You will have the option to play, stop, fast forward, rewind, and delete the video, so be carefulto pick the correct icon.Delete a video1.Delete your video by clicking the menu button on the camera.2.Navigate to the “Edit/Copy” button.3.Select “Delete.”4.Choose between specific files (“Multiple Images”) or the date you recorded on (“All in Event”).5.Select the images/event you want to delete. Then click “ImportMedia Files.5.Take note of the location the file will be imported to and then click “Import.”6.Find the location the files were saved to. There should be a new folder with the date as thetitle (MM-DD-YYYY).7.Hover your mouse over the file. The MP4 file is the one you need to use when viewing yourvideo on the computer and uploading your video to D2L.8.Your file has now been saved to your computer. ◆if引导的条件状语从句条件状语从句是在复合句中作条件状语的句子。

表示假如有从句的动作发生就会有主句的动作发生。

条件状语从句常由从属连词if引导。

◆if引导的条件状语从句使用须知:一、位置if引导的条件状语从句,既可放在主句之前也可放在主句之后。

当从句置于主句之前时,常用逗号与主句隔开。

例如:You will catch the bus if you get up early.=If you get up early, you will catch the bus.如果你早起的话,就能赶上公共汽车。

二、时态应遵循主、从句时态呼应的原则。

当主句是一般现在时(包含祈使句和含情态动词can, may, must等的句子),从句也用一般现在时。

例如:You must see the doctor if you are ill.如果你生病了,你必须去看医生。

Step1:Warming-up
1. Say hello to each other.
2. Learn new words.
(1) T: As the technology is developing, the things of new technology are more and more. What do you know about them?
通过对话引出新单词:video, video camera, recorder;
(2) T: -How to use a CD recorder?
First you should read the instructions. This is button. Press, turn on, copy, play back, memory…
通过图片和具体动作来认识这些新单词,从而引出了本课所有的新单词。

(3) How to use new words.
1) lend sb sth=lend sth to sb(借出,把某物借给某人)
borrow sb sth=borrow sth from sb(借入,向某人借某物)
He lent me a bike.=I borrowed him a bike.
2) 动副短语:
turn on (打开) turn off (关闭) play back (回放)
A:代词放在中间 B:名词放在副词前或后
3)come on加油,快点,亮起
Step 2: Listening and reading.
1. Listen to the dialogue of Activity3.
2. Activity 5. Complete the table.
3. Now listen again and check.
4. Activity 6. Work in pairs. Describe the tasks in Activity
5 and give instructions.
E.g. –How do I turn on the recorder?
-If you want to turn on the recorder, press the blue button.

5. Activity 4. Answer the questions.
(1) Read the dialogue again, answer the questions by themselves.
(2) Work in groups .Check the answers.
通过阅读对话的方式来了解学生对对话的细节的了解,并要求用自
己的语言表达出来,从而锻炼学生的口语表达能力。

(1) Work in pairs. Choose a piece of technology. (radio, camera, mobile phone, TV)

设计意图:通过做练习题来检测学生对本课知识的掌握情况,同时让学生能够正确地区分if引导的条件状语从句与if引导的宾语从句,重点强调其时态的区分。

Step 5: Homework.
Ask the students to write instructions for how to use a recorder.
设计意图:通过对话和第五、六部分的问题练习,形成新的语句,锻炼学生的发散思维。

再通过小组互助,学会正确表述怎样使用recorder.
教学反思:
新科技产品是本节课的中心话题,主要学习如何使用手机上的录像功能及CD录音机,进而学会用If句型介绍一些科技产品的使用说明,模仿做一个产品推销员,并写出产品说明书。

话题接近学生生活,实用性强,学生感兴趣。

为了实现高效课堂,课前出示任务,让学生自主学习,进行充分预习;课上小组合作交流,实现资料共享,合作探究;借助多媒体、课件、实物教具使教学内容变得形象生动,直观易懂;节奏明快的歌曲、有趣的Flash动画、激烈的小组竞赛,实用的情景表演使学生真正的成为课堂的主人;课堂上听、说、读、写贯穿始终,注重提高学生的综合运用语言的能力。
