Step 1
T :Today we are going to learn a story by Hans Christian Anderson. Do you know what its name is?
S :Yes. The Emperor’s New Clothes.

(1)The dress is made of silk (丝).
(2)It,s stupid (愚蠢的)of you to do tt like this.
(3)He is an emperor (国王)who loved theclothes
(4)He found a bag of gold (金子)in a deep hole under the ground. (5)When the emperor looked at himself (看着他自己),he only saw his underwear.
(6)Nobody wanted to sound (听起来)stupid.
(7)The brothers kept everything for themselves (把每样东西都留给他们自己)and told the emperor that people couldn’t see the clothes unless
they were clever.

Step 3
( C ) 1. —Do you know the song Gangnam Style ?
—Of course. It __________ interesting.
A. tastes
B. smells
C. sounds
D. feels

( B ) 2. He is an honest boy. He never __________ others.
A . cheat B. cheats
C. beats
D. tell

3.This story is about an emperor who loved clothes

She is a girl who takes after a famous star.
