写在本子上英语作文As I sat down with my notebook and pen, the blank page stared back at me, a canvas waiting for the first stroke of inspiration. Writing an English composition in a notebook isa task that requires patience, creativity, and a solid graspof the language. Here's how I approached it:1. Brainstorming:I began by jotting down all the ideas that came to my mind. This step is crucial as it helps in identifying the direction of the composition. I let my thoughts flow freely without worrying about grammar or structure yet.2. Outlining:Once I had a list of ideas, I organized them into alogical sequence. I created an outline, which included an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. This would serve as the skeleton for my composition.3. Drafting the Introduction:I started the composition with an engaging introduction. It was important to capture the reader's attention right away.I introduced the topic and provided a brief overview of what the composition would discuss.4. Developing the Body:In the body paragraphs, I expanded on each point from my outline. I made sure to use a variety of sentence structuresand vocabulary to keep the text interesting. Each paragraph focused on a single idea, supported by examples and evidence.5. Writing the Conclusion:The conclusion was where I summarized the main points and restated the thesis. I also included a final thought or acall to action to leave a lasting impression on the reader.6. Revising:After completing the first draft, I took a break and then returned to review my work. I checked for coherence, clarity, and flow. I also looked for any grammatical or spelling errors.7. Editing:The editing phase involved refining the language and ensuring that every sentence was as clear and concise as possible. I made sure that the transitions between paragraphs were smooth.8. Final Review:Before considering the composition complete, I read it aloud to myself. This helped me catch any awkward phrasing or inconsistencies that I might have missed.9. Reflection:After finishing the composition, I took a moment toreflect on what I had learned and how I could improve my writing skills for the next assignment.Writing an English composition in a notebook is more thanjust putting words on paper; it's an exercise in critical thinking, creativity, and self-expression. With each composition, I learn something new about the language and about myself as a writer.。

上课记笔记的重要性英语作文范文全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1The Super Awesome Importance of Taking Notes in ClassHi there, friends! Today I want to talk to you about something really, really important that can help you become a super student - taking notes in class! Now, I know what you might be thinking, "Ugh, taking notes is so boring and hard." But trust me, once you get the hang of it, it's actually really cool and helpful.First of all, let me ask you this - have you ever been in class, listening to your teacher explain something, and then a little while later you can't remember what they said? It happens to me all the time! Our brains are like little sponges that can only soak up so much information at once. That's why taking notes is so important - it helps us keep track of all the awesome stuff our teachers are telling us.When you take notes, you're not just writing down words on a piece of paper. You're actually helping your brain to better understand and remember the information. It's like creating alittle map or a set of instructions for your brain to follow. Pretty cool, right? Now, let me tell you about some of the amazing benefits of taking notes in class:You'll remember more of what you learned!Have you ever studied really hard for a test, but then when you got to the test, you couldn't remember half of the stuff you studied? That's because our brains can only hold on to so much information at once. But when you take notes, you're creating a written record of what you learned, which you can refer back to later. It's like having your own personal study guide! You'll stay focused and engaged in class.Let's be honest, sometimes classes can be a little boring, especially when the teacher is talking about something that doesn't seem very interesting. But when you're taking notes, you have to pay close attention to what the teacher is saying, which means you're less likely to zone out or get distracted. It's like a fun little game of "keep up with the teacher"!You'll develop better writing and organizational skills.Taking notes isn't just about writing down words - it's also about learning how to organize information in a way that makessense to you. Maybe you like to use bullet points, or maybe you prefer to draw little pictures or diagrams. Whatever works for you, taking notes will help you practice your writing and organizational skills, which are super important for school and life in general. You'll have a record of what was covered in class.Have you ever gotten home from school and realized that you have no idea what the homework assignment was, or what topics were covered in class that day? When you take notes, you'll have a written record of everything that was discussed, which means you'll never be left scratching your head trying to remember what you're supposed to be doing. You'll feel like a total boss in class!Let's be real, there's nothing cooler than being the kid in class who's always taking notes and staying on top of things. You'll impress your teachers, your classmates, and most importantly, yourself! Plus, you'll be setting yourself up for success in the future. Now, I know what you might be thinking - "But taking notes is so much work!" And you're right, it does take some effort. Buttrust me, it's worth it in the long run. Here are some tips to make taking notes a little easier and more fun:Use different colored pens or pencils to make your notes more visually appealing and easier to organize.Draw little pictures or symbols next to important points to help you remember them better.Don't try to write down every single word the teacher says - focus on the main ideas and key points.Review your notes after class to make sure you understand everything and fill in any gaps.Ask your teacher for clarification if there's something you don't understand in your notes. And remember, taking notes isn't just for class - it can be useful in all kinds of situations, like when you're watching a movie or reading a book and want to remember important details. So there you have it, friends! Taking notes in class is an awesome skill that can help you become a super student and set you up for success in school and beyond. Give it a try and see how much of a difference it can make. Trust me, your future self will thank you!篇2The Super Awesome Importance of Taking Notes in Class!Hi there, friends! Today I want to talk to you about something that's super important if you want to be a great student - taking notes in class! Now, I know what some of you might be thinking, "Ugh, taking notes is so boring and my hand gets tired." Trust me, I used to feel that way too. But once I started doing it, I realized how incredibly helpful it is. Let me tell you why!First of all, taking notes helps you pay way better attention in class. Think about it - when you're just sitting there listening, it's so easy to start daydreaming about recess or what you're having for lunch. But when you're actively writing things down, you have to really focus on what the teacher is saying so you can get all the important stuff written down. It keeps your mind from wandering off!Secondly, taking notes gives you this awesome study guide for tests and quizzes. Instead of having to go through all your books and materials trying to find the most important information, you already have it all written down in your notes! When it's time to study, you can just review your notes andeverything you need to know is right there. It saves so much time and effort. But that's not all - taking notes also helps you remember things better in general. There's something about physically writing things down that makes the information stick in your brain way more than just hearing it. Maybe it's because you're using more of your senses - seeing, hearing, and doing all at the same time. Whatever the reason, studies have shown that students who take good notes remember a lot more of what they learned. How cool is that? Now, I know taking notes can seem a little tricky at first. You might not know what's important to write down or how to organize your notes in a way that makes sense. But don't worry, it gets easier with practice! Here are some tips that have helped me become a note-taking master:Listen carefully for key words, names, dates, and concepts that seem really important. Those are definitely things you'll want to jot down.Write in your own words instead of copying thingsword-for-word. That helps you understand it better in your own language.Use abbreviations and symbols to take notes faster. For example, you could write "ex." instead of "example" or draw a smiley face for something good.Leave space between ideas so you can go back and fill in more details later if needed.Use different colors, underlines, or boxes to highlight the most crucial information. At the end of class, quickly review your notes and fill in any gaps while the information is still fresh in your mind. With a little practice, you'll get the hang of it in no time! Trust me, once you start taking good notes, you'll wonder how you ever got by without them before. So what do you say, friends? Are you ready to become an awesome note-taking superstar like me? It might seem like a little extra work at first, but it's going to help you learn so much more and get way better grades. And just think how proud your parents and teachers will be when they see you being such a responsible, hard-working student! Let's all grab our notebooks and pencils and get ready to take some amazing notes together. We've got this!篇3The Super Awesome Importance of Taking Notes in Class! You know that feeling when the teacher is talking and talking, and you're trying so hard to listen but then you zone out for a second and you're like "Wait, what did she just say?" Yeah, we've all been there! That's why taking good notes in class is super duper important. Let me tell you all about it!First of all, our brains can only hold so much information at once before they get overloaded. It's like trying to carry too many groceries - if you pile on too many things, stuff starts dropping everywhere and you make a huge mess. Same thing happens when we try to remember everything the teacher says without writing it down. Poof - half of it just disappears from our brains like it was never there! But when we write down what the teacher is saying, it's like we're making a little cheat sheet that has all the important stuff in one place. No more "What was that thing about photosynthesis again?" You just whip out your notes and there it is, safe and sound! Your brain gets a break from trying to hold onto every little detail.Speaking of details, that's another huge reason whynote-taking rocks. Sure, maybe you remember the main ideas okay. But what about all those fascinating facts, dates, definitionsand examples that make the lesson come alive? Writers of books, movies and video games work super hard to include those kinds of vivid details to make their stories awesome. Well, for us students, those details are what make lessons stick in our brains instead of feeling like a big boring blur. Here's a kickin' example: Let's say you're learning about the Great Wall of China. The main idea is that it's a really old and long wall, blah blah blah. But when you include details like "it's over 13,000 miles long" and "it took over 2,000 years to build" and "at one point, there were over 1 million workers building it"...suddenly, your mind is blown! You're like "WHOA, no way, that's insane!" And trust me, your brain will remember those wow-factors way better if you jot them down.OK, next up: Have you ever been jamming away on your homework, trying to remember what formulas or steps you need to solve a math problem or do a science experiment? But then you get stumped because you just can't reminisce that one crucial piece of advice your teacher gave in class? I know, it's the worst! But if you had written it down during the lesson, tada! There's your answered, right there in your notes. No more agonizing frustration! Homework: completed. You: unstressed and victorious. Then there's the epic organization power of notes. Let's say you have a huge test coming up and you need to study. But there's so much material, you don't even know where to start! Well, with a solid set of notes from all your lessons, suddenly you have a beautifully organized guide laid out for you, hitting all the main topics you need to review. No more dealing with a messy pile of crumpled handouts and half-finished assignments. Your notes are like a revered teacher, showing you the way!Plus, when study time rolls around, you can go back through your notes and underline or highlight the most important concepts. You can add in little memory jokes or drawings. You can summarize whole chapters onto one tidy page. With good notes, studying is no longer about desperately trying to memorize a billion disconnected facts - it's about piecing together one unified, logical understanding. Like constructing a power-up in your favorite video game! But you know what? Taking notes isn't just about making our lives easier (though that's awesome too). It's also about becoming a learning ninja. Think about it: When you're actively writing stuff down, breaking ideas into your own words, organizing points in your own way - you're not just copying, you're processing. You're making connections, thinking critically, practicing comprehension skills. You're exercising your mighty brain muscles! And those brain muscles don't just make you a better student. They'll make you better at anything you take on in life - like scoring a job you want, explaining stuff to your friends and family, or pursing amazing hobbies and passion projects. Imagine how much easier it'll be to learn a new video game's controls or basketball techniques if you master the art of focusing and noting key steps now. You'll be unstoppable! So yeah, taking awesome notes is pretty much the best studying secret weapon ever. It makes lessons click, homework a breeze, tests way less painful, and turns you into a straight-up learning warrior for life. Plus, having a nice organized notebook is kind of a humble brag, not gonna lie. You can be like, "Oh these? These are just my flawless, color-coded notes from Physics. No biggie."So next time your teacher starts going on about isotopes or passive voice or ancient civilizations, don't let your brain flutter away like a confused butterfly. Lock it down! Whip out that notebook and start capturing all those knowledge diamonds before they get lost. Your future mega-student self will thank you!篇4The Awesome Importance of Taking Notes in ClassHi there! My name is Jamie and I'm a 5th grader. Today I want to tell you all about why taking notes during class is super duper important. It might seem like a bore, but trust me, it's actually really useful and can help you a ton!First up, let me explain what "taking notes" actually means. It's basically writing down the key points and important stuff that your teacher says or shows you during the lesson. You can jot it down in a notebook, on a tablet or even your arm if you're really desperate (just kidding, don't do that!).So why is it so great to take notes? Well, there are a bunch of awesome reasons:It helps you pay better attention in class. Whenever I make an effort to take notes, I find myself focusing way more on what the teacher is saying instead of daydreaming about lunch or my next playdate. It keeps me engaged and in the moment. It's like making your own textbook! The notes you take are a personal record of exactly what was covered, in your own words. Way better than just borrowing your friend's notes, right? You can review them whenever you need a refresher. It improves your listening skills big time. Trying to pick out the most important points and write them down makes you a super careful listener. That's a really useful skill for life!It helps information stick in your brain more easily. Research shows that physically writing things down helps you remember them much better than just hearing them. Crazy but true!Your notes can make studying for tests a million times easier. Instead of rereading a whole textbook chapter, you can just review your concise class notes. Such a time-saver!Now, taking good notes does take a little bit of practice at first. Here are some of my top tips:• Listen carefully fr om the very start of class and try to write down key words, definitions, facts, formulas etc.• Develop your own shorthand and abbreviations to write more quickly (for example, "ex" instead of "example").• Leave spaces and skip lines so you can go back and add more details later if needed.• Use different colors, highlighters and symbols to organize your notes visually.• At the end of class, quickly go over your notes and tidy them up so they make sense later.Of course, you don't have to be a robot and write down absolutely everything. That would be impossible! Just focus on the main concepts, important vocabulary, and anything the teacher repeats or spends a lot of time on.One more awesome thing about notes - they can make your life easier if you ever miss a class! You can borrow a friend's notes and catch up way faster than if you had nothing at all to go on. Sharing is caring when it comes to notes! So there you have it - taking notes is an incredible study skill that every student should master. It might feel like extra work at first, but trust me, it pays big dividends in the long run. Your future homework-free self will thank you!Okay, I'll leave it there since my hand is starting to cramp up from all this writing. Let me know if you have any other questions! Just send me a note...see what I did there? ;) Thanks for reading, study smart, and happy note-taking!篇5The Superpower of Note-TakingDo you know what superpower can help you become a learning superhero? The ability to take awesome notes!Note-taking is like a secret weapon that lets you capture all the vital information shared in class. It's a skill that will level up your learning game big time. Some kids think note-taking is just for nerds, but let me tell you - it's crazy useful for everyone! Imagine trying to memorize everything the teacher says without writing it down. It would be like trying to catch a waterfall in your hands - the knowledge would just slip through your fingers. But with some simple note-taking skills, you can grab onto all those important facts and concepts like a pro. There are so many reasons why taking good notes is the way to go. First off, it helps you concentrate better in class. Instead of zoning out and daydreaming, you'll be focused on listening carefully so you can jot down the key points. It's like your pencil is a special "pay attention" wand!Secondly, note-taking creates a record you can refer back to when studying for tests or working on assignments. It's like making a custom study guide as you go along. No more struggling to remember what the teacher said weeks ago - just flip open your notebook and it's all there in your own words.Speaking of your own words, that's another awesome benefit of note-taking. When you rephrase things in your own language instead of just copying verbatim, it forces you to really understand the material. It's like putting information through your personal "making sense" machine. And you know what else is cool? Reviewing your notes after class actually helps reinforce the learning, kind of like hitting the "save" button in your brain. The physical act of note-taking, combined with revising the notes later, is a powerful double whammy for remembering what you learned.Of course, you can't just scribble down random stuff and call it good notes. There's an art to taking notes that capture the most vital points in an organized, concise way. But don't worry, it's not as hard as it sounds! With a few simple strategies, you'll be crafting study-boosting masterpieces in no time. One key technique is to leave wide margins or spaces between ideas so you can go back and add extra details or explanations later. That's like future note-taking you giving past note-taking you a grateful high five.Using shorthand, abbreviations, and symbols is another way to capture more in fewer words. Like maybe "b/c" for "because"or a lightbulb icon for an important idea. Your notes will be as concise as secret spy codes! You can also go wild with different colors, drawings, and doodles to emphasize major concepts or sections. Some notes look more like artistic masterpieces than boring lists of words. Adding a touch of creativity and personality to your notes makes studying so much more fun.The most advanced note-taking ninjas even use special organization methods like outlines, Cornell notes, or mind maps. But you can start simple with whatever style works for capturing the gist and examples. The goal is just to get that information out of your brain and onto the page in a format you'll be able to understand later.Once you've gotten the hang of taking great notes, they'll come in handy for all sorts of situations beyond just classes too. You can use your newfound skills for recording instructions, brainstorming ideas, or breaking down concepts you're learning on your own. Note-taking is a true lifelong superpower! So don't sleep on this essential academic ability, friends. Developing kickin' note-taking habits now will put you on the path to straight A's, a less stressful study routine, and becomingan overall more organized, engaged learner. Let your pencil lead the way to knowledge victory!。

This assignment was completed by my own efforts and__________________________________ _5 november 2014your signature dateThis article is about where, on a scale of corporate greening, is MEC located? Personally speaking, I hold the believe that the scale of MEC is sustainable development. “Sustainable Development” is definite that “Meeting the need of thepresent without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs”(Brundtland, 1987). As the introduction of MEC in official webside, “as a business- and as people – we operate with integrity and show respect for each other and the environment. For over 40 years we‟ve been dreaming big and demonstrating the best of what business can be in our society” . In this study, to confirm my opinion about the Scale of MEC from several sides. First of all, MEC‟s Vision, Philosophy and Objectives. Secondly, MEC‟s Policies and Practices. Lastly, MEC‟s Sustainability Commitments.MEC‟s Vision , Philosophy and ObjectivesMEC‟s Vision is to become “an innovative, thriving co-operative that inspires excellence in products and services, passion for wilderness experiences, leadership for a just world, and action for a healthy planet”(Sam, Esakin,C, & Pappin, 2012). In 2010 and 2012, MEC was regarded as the “Best 50 Corporate Citizens” by Corporate Knights, which seeks to provide leadership in sustainability, setting benchamarks in the outdoor retail industry.MEC‟s philosophy is “anchore in its operations, conducting business ethically and with integrity, respecting and protecting the natural environment while promoting personal growth”(Sam, Esakin,C, & Pappin,2012). Though the following strategic goals, MEC insists its sustainability principles and recognizes the limits to the carrying capacity of the planet, finding that health economy and society environment require a healthy , function and vibrant planet to thrive.such as “reducing material waste”, “Improve energy, water and carbon footprint”, “increase the culture of outdoor recreation” and “accelerate systemic change towards environmental, social and economic sustainability in the marketplace”.As a commercial entity, MEC‟s objective is “to provide highly durable and quality outdoor products and services and promote activities that enhance access to parks and other recreational facilities within the context oof a thriving environment”(Sam, Esakin,C, & Pappin,2012). MEC is an active player in sustainable development. Firstly, MEC will encourage members to lead healthy and active lives and to become stewards of the natural environment. Besides, it also promote wilderness conservation and responsible use of outdoor and recreational resources. Most importantly, MEC reduce the social and environmental impacts of products, services and operations, which is most effective and effient way to protect our environment. There are an example about MEC reducing social and environmental impacts. As we all know, Polyvinyl Chloride(PVC) is an unenvironmental chamical substance. The PVC products can leak dangerous additives and are difficult to recycle and mostly end up in landfills. However, PVC was in favor of a huge amount of manufacturing company, resulting from the fact that its cost is low. Insteading of using PVC as raw materials, MEC require products‟s raw materials must be natural and human-made, which is biodegradable and harmless to human body. This method for MEC is not maximum profit. MEC can earn more beneficial thought unenvironmental and non-sustainablily development measure, but they don‟t do that. MEC insist its objectives and philosophy, builting an sustainable development retail sector, which ought to be respect by all of us.MEC‟s Policies and PracticesSuccess requires strategic planning that is process-oriented and incremental in scope. Since its inception, MEC appears to have in corporated the “Triple Bottom Line” into its operations and continue to expand the scope of its sustainability activities. We will talk about key elements of MEC‟s sustainability policies and programs are discussed as follow.Product DesignMEC‟s policy advises “MEC does not design or buy products or use technologies that have unacceptable impacts on the environment” and “MEC also does not buy or design products specifically for motorized activities, neither does it design , make orsource products intended to kill or harm animals”(Sam, Esakin,C, & Pappin, 2012). What‟s more, the products design which make by MEC not only use investigation of material requirements and anlysis of the influences of materials on the environment, but also consider end use of the products and make recycling an integral part of the product design process. Therefore, 100% organically grown cotton in its brand clothing, which has eliminated PVC.Carbon FootprintsThought developing an Energy Master Plan (EMP)which provides a framework for making sound energy management decisions, MEC deeply reduce its carbon footprint down. MEC‟s policy advises to “phase out ozone-depleting substances from its heating and cooling systems was adopted” , which leading to the innovation of a greenbuilding program based on the “4R” principle: “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle & Rethink”.By the way, MEC not only pay more on attantion on control products quantity, but also require their employee having same mentality about protecting the world. For example, MEC claim it has a policy to “encourage the use of less polluting means of transportation to and from work by staff”. Providing no car parking for emplyees and pricing bike commuting by staff, all this method lead to the dates as follow. In 2010, 81% of staff took alternative modes of transportation (including biking walking, use of public transport and carpooling) to work with only 18% driving to work in single-occupancy vehicles.Waste ManagementMEC‟s waste management strategy started with analysis of its waste stream covering a period of five years.thought conducting waste audits every year, MEC can estimate the amount of waste it generates with the help of a third party.Based on MEC reports, “it uses chemicals with the lowest negative impact on the environment, such as non-chlorine bleach, minimizes the use of dark dyes which tend to have greater impact, and ensuring effluents are treated”. Further more,” To promote responsible waste m anagement, a product …take-back‟ program at the store level was put in place”. All this methods mentioned above, which can help MEC taking back 1.16 tonnes and 1.3 tonnes of batteries at certified take back facilities in 2010 and 2011.MEC‟s Sustainability Commitments“Mountain Equipment Co-op(MEC) is Canada‟s leading supplier of quality outdoor gear, clothing , and services aimed at helping people enjoy the benefits of self-propelled wilderness-oriented recreation. Founded by six people in 1971, MEC now has over three million members, making it the largest consumer co-op in the country”(Bains, 2009)It is under this background, MEC‟s Sustainability Commitments is about how to make the business, product, comsumption and local economy more sustainability.there is an example about it. MEC will provide a safe and respectful workplace where its employees are highly valued, treated fairly and encouraged to make a difference. Furthermore, in order to improve quatity of employees , MEC have a specific site for emplyees to write down what they do in the co-op and what they need to do it well.Personally speaking, I think this is an wonderful idea for employees to plan job schedule and improve personal ability.ConsultsAccording to definition of Sustainable development, there is no denying that MEC company is perceived to be a good example on the scan of sustainable development companies. No matter from the company‟s philosophy or its policies and pratices, all the evidence can prove MEC is an sustainable development companies. And MEC, this sustainable development company ,will push the green environment case to a higher mountain and protecting the environment efficientlyReferenceOxford University Press. (1987).
