网站分析常用英语名词这个帖子是我自己发觉有点儿意思的。
我在大学的时候，我们有一门学科叫做专业英语，相信大家也都学过。
网站分析其实也是一门非常严谨的学科，因此它也有自己的专业英语。
常见的比如说Page View，Visit，bounce rate什么的，我就不多说了，相信大家都非常熟悉。
下面按字母先后顺序列举一些可能大家会有疑惑的英语名词：1. A/B testA/B test即A/B测试，晚一些我也准备写一个关于A/B test的文章。
A/B test是把同一个页面的两个或者多个版本(实际上是多个页面文件)在同一个时间段内随机的展现给不同的访问者，以测试不同版本的转化效能，并最终为选取某一个版本，或者为更好的优化这个页面提供依据。
本质上，A/B test就是一种实验。
2. Abandon RateAbandon Rate，也作Abandonment Rate，是一个电子商务网站分析的度量。
Abandonment Rate是指把商品添加入购物车却又没有完成购物的比例。
有两种情况，一种被称为购物车Abandonment Rate，它是点击“进/加入购物车”按钮却没有继续点击“结账(或者立即支付)”按钮的顾客占全部点击“进/加入购物车”按钮的顾客的百分比。
另一种情况是付款环节的Abandonment Rate，是点击“结账”按钮却没有完成支付的顾客占全部点击“结账”按钮顾客的百分比。
3. Action / EventAction或者Event是指页面上非HTML格式的互动形式/互动链接，就是我们常见的Flash形式的互动，JavaScript等。
这些互动形式令网站分析格外关注的原因是，你不能通过页面HTML上的默认监测代码的实施实现对它们的监测，而需要把相关的监测function语句加入到Flash的Action Script或者JavaScript中去。
在Google Analytics中，有Event Tracking功能，即是对这互动形式的特殊监测方法。

Affiliate 知识简介
Affiliate指的是一种网站A为网站B放置广告按钮，然后从为网站B带来的销售额中获得回佣的一种广告系统。
某些广告主通过这种方式获得市场信息而不是现金销售。
这种方式被营销费用比较紧张的新网站采用得比较普遍。
广告按钮包括链接，图片，email address，广告词等。
根据商家网站给Affiliate的回报支付方式，联属网络营销可以分为三种形式：
1.按点击数付费（Cost-Per-Click, CPC）
2.按引导数付费（Cost-Per-Lead，CPL；有的叫CPA，Cost-Per-Acquisition)。
3.按销售额付费（Cost-Per-Sale，CPS）商家只在Affiliate的链接介绍的客人在商家网站上产生了实际的购买行为后（大多数是在线支付）才给Affiliate 会员付费，一般是设定一个佣金比例（销售额的10%到50%不等）。
上面三种方式都属于Pay For Performance（按效果付费）的营销方式，无论对于商家还是对于Affiliate都是比较容易接受的。
由于网站的自动化流程越来越完善，在线支付系统也越来越成熟，越来越多的Affiliate网络营销系统采用按销售额付费的方法，也就是第三种付费方式。
由于这种方法对商家来说是一种零风险的广告分销方式，商家也愿意设定比较高的佣金比例。
而对Affiliate 来说只要有访问量，他们自己不需要有自己的产品就能挣钱－不需要生产，不需要进货，不需要处理订单，不需要提供售后服务！何乐而不为呢！
这样就使得这种方式的营销系统被越来越多地采用。
