教材特点1.遵循儿童语言学习的特点根据《义务教育英语课程标准(2011年版》提出的“鼓励学生在教师的指导下,通过体验、实践、参与”等要求,结合儿童好动、好玩、好表演等心理特点,新教材设计了大量的游戏、歌曲、歌谣、表演、TPR 等活动,旨在将学生的身心发展和语言发展结合起来,让他们在有趣的听做表演中体验和输入语言,在有节奏的说唱中模仿和练习语言,在轻松愉快的活动中学习和运用语言。
2.强调结合具体语境的运用修订教村在设计中突出了三个真实。
1) 内容真实: 选择最贴近小学生日常生活的话题,如饮食、服装、季节、天气、文体活动、节假日、家庭、朋友、学校与日常生活等,有机融人与学生成长紧密相关的内容,如热爱自然、关爱他人、遵守规则、诚实守信等,使学生学习英语时更易于接受; 2) 情景真实: 设置学生经常活动和最感兴趣的典型情景,如学校、家庭、公园、游乐园、动物园、商店等,让学生在特定场合、特定人际关系、特定做事的过程中学习语言:3 )运用真实: 设计大量真实的语言实践活动,如介绍家庭成员和朋友、表达自己喜欢和不喜欢的物品、谈论日常学习与生活等,让学生在语境中运用所学语言进行表达与交流。
3.注重知识的系统滚动本次教材的修订在原教材设计的基础上进一步加强了语言知识的系统滚动。
按照《义务教育英语课程标准(2011年版)》颁布的二级要求重新调整了教材的词汇分布和目标语言结构分布,进步明确了每课的语言知识要点,在每个单元的最后设置了“语言知识要点”(Language Focus) 栏目,明确本单元的主要语言知识目标和要求,也为教学评价提供依据和支持。
4.重视阅读能力的培养修订教材从五年级开始,在每册书的每单元最后都安排了“趣味百科”( FunFacts) 阅读专栏。
内容包括中外名人、世界名胜、中西方文化比较、生活习俗、自然科学常识等,使学生通过阅读开阔视野,了解跨文化知识、改进阅读方式、发展阅读技能。
5.提倡互助合作学习修订教材十分重视培养学生的自主学习与合作学习的意识和能力。
