1Hi everyone! Today I want to tell you about how to write a super awesome essay for the big English test. This test is really important if you want to go to a cool university. But don't worry, I've got some great tips to help you out!First up, you need to have an amazing introduction. This is like the first bite of your favorite candy bar - it's gotta be good or else people won't want the rest! In your intro, you should tell the reader what your essay is going to be about. Maybe say something like "In this essay, I'm going to talk about why [insert your topic] is the best thing ever." That way, the reader knows exactly what to expect.Next, you'll need to have at least three strong paragraphs for the body of your essay. These are like the gooey caramel center of that candy bar - the good stuff! In each paragraph, you'll want to make one main point about your topic. Then give some examples or reasons to support that point. Don't forget to use lots of descriptive words to make your writing extra delicious. For example, if your topic is your favorite food, you could say "Pizza is the most scrumptious food on the planet. The gooey cheese stretches from slice to slice, tantalizing your taste buds. The crispy crust is the perfect crunchy base for all the yummy toppings." See how that description makes you want pizza right now? That's what you're going for! After your three brilliant body paragraphs, it's time for the conclusion. This is like the final sweet bite at the end - it's got to satisfy your reader. Quickly sum up the main points you made and maybe restate why your topic is so fantastic. The conclusion should leave the reader feeling happily full of your ideas, just like after eating that whole candy bar.Oh, and one more super important tip! Be sure to check your spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Sloppy mistakes are like finding a gross hair in your candy bar - totally ruins the whole thing. Read your essay over carefully to make sure every sentences is perfect.Follow these tips and you'll be sure to write anaward-winning essay! Today I'm gonna tell you all about the super important test that grown-ups have to take if they wanna go to a really good school. It's called the Graduat Englush Test and it's really really hard! But don't worry, I'm gonna give you a template so you can pass it for sure.First off, you gotta start with an intro part. That's where you say what you're gonna talk about in your essay. Like this:"In this essay, I will be talking about the really really important topic of [put your topic here]. This topic is super duper significant because [give a couple reasons why it's important]."Then you gotta make a thesis statement. That's a sentence that sums up the main idea of your whole essay. Like:"While this topic has some challenges, I believe that [put your main opinion or argument here]."After that intro part, you gotta have a body with a bunch of paragraphs. Each paragraph should have a different main idea that supports your thesis statement. For the first body paragraph, start off with a topic sentence that previews what you'll talk about:"One key aspect of this topic is [state your first main point]."Then you explain that point with some examples and evidence and stuff. Use lots of facts and quotes from smart sources to make it sound really good. For example: "According to Professor Smartypants from Harvard University, '[insert a quote from a smart person here].' This shows that [explain how the quote supports your point]."When you're done with all the examples for that point, you can conclude the paragraph by re-stating the main idea:"Thus, [re-state your main point for the paragraph]."Then just repeat that process for like 3 or 4 more body paragraphs, introducing a new point in each one. Make sure to use lots of big words and name-drop famous smart people so it looks really advanced. Finally, you wrap it all up with a conclusion section where you re-state your thesis and summarize your main points one last time."In conclusion, while [restate the topic] presents some challenges, I have shown that [briefly re-state your three to four main points]. Therefore, [re-state your thesis statement]."And that's it! If you follow this template, you'll definitely ace the Graduate Englush Test. Just throw in some really big words you don't understand, and the grown-up graders will thinkyou're super smart. Good luck!篇3The Best Day Ever!Hi friends! Today I'm gonna tell you about the best day I ever had. It was sooo much fun and I can't wait to share all the awesome details with you!It all started when I woke up on a bright sunny morning. The birds were singing pretty songs outside my window. I jumped out of bed, put on my favorite SpongeBob t-shirt and raced downstairs for breakfast. Mom made my favoritest meal - chocolate chip pancakes! I drowned them in sweet syrup and gobbled them all up. Yum yum yrup! After brekky, I went outside to play. All my buddies were there - Tommy, Susie, Mikey and the gang. We decided to have a super fun competition to see who could run the fastest, jump the highest and do the craziest tricks on our skateboards and bikes. I won at skateboard tricks by landing a perfect 1080 McTwist! Just kidding, I totally ate pavement. But it was still really fun! Then we decided to play a monster game of hide and seek. I was the seeker and boy was I good! I found everyone's hiding spots so fast. Susie hid in the dump behind her house (gross!) and Tommy tried disguising himself as a tree in the woods (nice try Tommy!). After we all got found, we switched and I became the hider. I'm like a hiding ninja master! I hid in this crazy cool secret spot and nobody ever found me. I had to give up and come out 3 hours later. Oops!Once we got tired from all that running around, we set up a lemonade stand in Mikey's yard. We made fresh lemonade from real lemons that Mikey's mom grew in her garden. We didn't make much money, but it was fun squeezing all those lemons and yelling to get people's attention. We gave free refills to anyone we knew, like our neighbors and the nice mailman Mr. Jenkins.Later in the afternoon, the ice cream truck came driving by playing its happy jingle. We all went running after it with our money from the lemonade stand. I got a awesome Rocket Buster Blast popsicle - it's red, white and blue and full of yummysour-sweet syrupy amazingness. The ice cream man is so lucky he gets to eat ice cream all day! After slurping up our melty treats, it started getting close to dinner time so we all headed home. I waved bye to my buddies and headed inside, already feeling sad that the best day ever was ending. But then mom told me we were going out for pizza at Peter Piper's Pizza Palace! It's my #1 favorite eatery ever withall-you-can-eat pizza, games, rides and an awesome maze of tunnels and obstacles to explore. I quickly forgot about being sad.I ran straight for the Xtreme Rock Climbing wall and raced Daddy up it over and over. Then we playedSkeeGolf, Wacky Tee and all the fun video games like Crazy Skates and Temple Trail. I won a million tickets and traded them in for a giant box of Sweetie Sours candy at the prize counter. Score! After stuffing myself like a thanksgiving turkey with pizza and sugar, I spent the rest of the night burning energy in theTunnelrama Playmaze. I crawled through crazy tubes, climbed nets, jumped over fluffy shapes and slid down at least a hundred million bouncy slides. It. Was. EPIC!Finally, after what felt like days of unlimited fun, it was time to go home. I was so dusty and sweaty, Daddy joked I looked like a little pig that rolled around in the mud. I just giggled, feeling deliriously happy and content after having the best day ever.As we drove home, I looked up at the starry sky and saw a fat, shooting star blazing across the heavens. I renewed my wish to have a day like this every day forever and ever! A kid can dream, right? I smiled and drifted off to sleep, already dreaming about tomorrow's adventures. The end!篇4The Best Essay Ever for the Super Important English TestHi! My name is Tommy and I'm going to write the best essay ever for the really really important English test. My teacher said I have to write a long essay with lots of words. 2000 words! That's a ton! But I can totally do it because I'm a great writer. Here we go!Introduction ParagraphFor this super duper essay, I need to have an introduction paragraph. The introduction lets the reader know what my essay will be about. I'm going to write about...hmmm...let me think. Oh I know! I'll write about my favorite thing in the whole wide world - candy! Yummy!Candy is the most delicious food ever. It is sweet and sugary and comes in tons of fun shapes, colors, and flavors. There are chocolate candies, gummy candies, hard candies, and even candies with toys inside! Everybody loves candy because it tastes amazing. That's why I want to tell you all about the greatness of candy for this essay. Get ready to read about the best thing ever!Body Paragraph 1Okay, now I need some body paragraphs. Body paragraphs tell all the main info and details about your topic. For my first body paragraph, I will talk about the different types of candy that exist. There are seriously so many types of candy, it's impossible to name them all! But here are some of the most popular ones: chocolate bars, lollipops, gummy bears, jelly beans, candy canes, and cotton candy. Chocolate bars are made from cacao beansand come in lots of varieties like milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and white chocolate. Lollipops are hard candies on a stick that you lick. Gummy bears are my personal favorite - they are soft, chewy, and taste like fruit! Jelly beans are small beans filled with yummy jelly. Candy canes are striped Christmas candies in a hook shape. Cotton candy is a fun, fluffy cloud of sugar that melts in your mouth. With so many options, everyone can find a candy they love!Body Paragraph 2For my next body paragraph, I'll describe how candy is made and where it comes from. This shows I know a lot about my topic.Candy makers have to follow special recipes to create delicious candies. They mix together ingredients like sugar, corn syrup, flavors, colors, and other stuff. Then they cook it all at really high heat! For gummies, the candy mixture is poured into molds in fun shapes. For lollipops, the candy is stretched and twisted onto sticks. Chocolates get poured into bar molds or enrobed around fillings. Most of the world's candies come from big candy factories. But some small candy shops make candies by hand too! The oldest candy factory still open today is LIFE Savers in Montreal, Canada - it opened way back in 1888! Three of the most popularcandy companies are Mars, Hershey's, and Nestlé. Together they make tons of famous candies like M&Ms, Snickers, Reese's, Kit Kats, and Butterfingers. Yum!Body Paragraph 3This will be my last body paragraph. I should pick one more point about candy to cover. Oh I know - I'll explain why candy is the best snack!Candy is 100% the best snack for lots of reasons. First, it tastes waaaay better than boring snacks like carrots or pretzels. Candy is sweet and full of yummy flavors that make your mouth happy. Second, candy comes in such a wide variety that there's something for everyone's taste. If you don't like one kind of candy, just try a different one! Third, candy gives you a burst of energy with all its sugary goodness. It's the perfect pick-me-up snack for kids and grownups. Finally, candy is fun and puts a smile on your face! What's not to love about bright colors, cool shapes, and pure deliciousness? Those are just some of the reasons why candy takes the cake...er...candy as the ultimate snack. Conclusion ParagraphPhew, this is a long essay! But I need one more section to wrap it all up - the conclusion. Time to remind the reader about my main points one last time.In conclusion, candy is pretty much the greatest food invention ever. There are millions of candies in endless flavors, shapes, and types to satisfy any sweet tooth. From gummies and chocolates to lollipops and cotton candy, candy has it all! The process of making candies is really neat too, with special recipes, cooking, and molding required. Most importantly, candy takes the crown as the most delicious, versatile, fun, and energizing snack for people of all ages. So next time you want a treat, forget those lame potato chips and grab yourself some candy instead! The end!Wow, I did it! I just wrote a super epic 2000 word essay about the amazingness of candy. I followed all the rules too - I had an intro, body paragraphs, and conclusion. Plus I used lots of great details and examples about my topic. This essay is going to get an A+ for sure! Thanks for reading, candy lovers!篇5My Super Awesome Essay for the Big Kid TestHi there! I'm really excited to write this essay for the big kid test to get into a cool university. My teacher says I have to write a long essay, but I'm not worried because I love writing stories and using my imagination!I've been told the essay needs to have an introduction paragraph, body paragraphs, and a conclusion paragraph. The introduction is supposed to get the reader interested and let them know what the essay will be about. Here goes!Introduction ParagraphWhen I grow up, I want to be afireman/astronaut/professional bubble blower (circle one). Being a grown-up seems really fun because you get to stay up late, eat ice cream whenever you want, and best of all - no more naptime! This essay will tell you all about my dream job and why I'm perfect for it.Body Paragraph 1The first reason I'll be an amazing fireman/astronaut/bubble blower is because I'm super brave. One time, my baby sister was crying and crying, and I marched right over and gave her my favorite stuffed animal to make her feel better. That's the kind ofcourage and selflessness it will take to rescue people/explore outer space/blow bubbles that don't pop for a really long time.Body Paragraph 2Another important quality I have is being really smart. I can already count all the way up to 100! I also know most of the letters of the alphabet. With a super big brain like mine, I'll be able to learn everything I need to know to drive the firetruck/pilot the rocket ship/mix together the perfect bubble solution.Body Paragraph 3The last reason I'll be an awesomefireman/astronaut/professional bubble blower is my determination. Whenever I really want something, I never give up until I get it. Like this one time, I really really wanted a cookie before dinner, and I asked my mom hundreds of times until she finally said yes. I'll use that same persist-and-insist attitude to fight fires/journey to Mars/set the world record for biggest bubble ever blown! Conclusion ParagraphIn conclusion, I think I'm the perfect kid to hire as a fireman/astronaut/professional bubble blower because I'mbrave, smart, and determined. I have what it takes to be a huge success at this very important job. Just don't schedule me for any night shifts because my bedtime is 8pm!The End!Well, there it is - my unforgettable, award-winning, classic essay. I worked really hard on making it perfect, and I can't wait to get my results. Hopefully I get into my dream university so I can take all the fun classes about learning to be afirefighter/rocket scientist/bubble master. Keeping my fingers crossed! Thanks for reading my essay!。

In recent years, distant education has generally beenbrought into the public focus. A large number of universities have offered opencourses on the internet. However, just as the saying goes, “so many people, somany minds.” People from different backgro unds take divergent views concerningthis case. Those who have already benefited from practicing itsing high praise of it. They come up with the attitude that distant educationhas provided a wider way for students to learn various cultures around all overthe world. It is a more convenient way for students to broaden their horizon. However, there are also some others who contend that various kinds of opencourses on the internet will bring some chaos to students. Students who areexposed to too many different courses and cultures will have difficulty indistinguishing the passive ones and the opposite.Taking into consideration both sides of the issue, Iam inclined to be on the side of the former opinion. I strongly approve of themotion that distant education is a convenient and important wayfor students toget in touch with foreign culture, especially for those who major in foreignlanguage learning. But at the same time, I also advocate that students shouldpay more attention to choose proper subjects rather than accept them entirely. According to many people, university is aspringboard towards better jobs or higher salaries, and their only goal ofuniversity education is to get a degree. Why do you go to university? I believedifferent people have different answers to this question. Asfar as I amconcerned, I do not agree with their opinion that university education is aspringboard. Let me name my reasons.First of all, university education can helpstudent cultivate sentiments. People who are having university education mustlearn much more knowledge. This knowledge will help them cultivate their tastefrom their inside heart. What’s more, the atmosphere in college is also helpfulin developing students’ personal quality.Secondly, university education is a goodplace for students to prepare for going to society. College doesn’t like highschool. Students have to learn many things besides study. This is the finalstage before they enter the society for most students. Having universityeducation helps them adapt the society easily.Thirdly, university educationwill let students have a further knowledge in one field. Before going to university, students have to choose their major. This is because they have to learn specializedknowledge in that field. If they want to success, having knowledge about onething deeply is necessary. To sum up, university education has manyfunctions. It is not only a springboard for better jobs or higher salaries. Theycan’t settheir goal for university education is to get a degree. It deservesmore. Nowadays most people go to university not only to learn new knowledge but to get a degree. Many of them no longer care about what they really learn in university, they care more about whether they will get the degree or not. They regard the degree as a golden key to a better jobs or higher salaries. For them, nothing is more important than a degree in university. In my po()int of view, I cannot agree tothis idea.In the first place, degree is nothing but a paper that can prove you have finished your courses. Most students don’t realize what helps them to find a good job is what they really learn from university, the professional course, and the social skills and so on. In addition, having certificates is more important than having a degree. For instance, if you are looking for a translation job, you certainly need a CET-4 or CET-6 certificate. if you want to be a high school teacher, you need more certificate to prove yourself that you are fit for this job, such as TEM-8 and teacher certificate which is not a degree can show your abilities. In the second place, having a good personal relationship is much nicer than having a degree. In the social net, you have more friends means you have more choices. For example, many students do not choose the right major in university because their parents chose for them, so that they may not work hard. In that case, this kind of students should spend more time to learn what they are really interested in and make more friends. It’s much better than they spend the whole time to learn the major which they don’t like at all.To sum up, students should not care too much about their degree, and they should focus on what is truly needed for their future life. The goal of university education is not just to get a degree, but the really useful knowledge and practical experience. During these years, more and more parents trend to send their kids to study abroad, it is true that foreign education has many advantages, which is surpassing our education. Many excellent scholars started their education at the foreign colleges, then makingthe outstanding works. The advantages of foreign education are in the following.First, there are advantaged educational resources in the foreign colleges. America and England have the best universities, the famous traditional universities such as Cambridge and Oxford, which have the long history. So these universities are developed and have the mature teaching resources. The students can enjoy the best educational resource and have communication with the best professors.Second, one of the main features of foreign education is that it pays attention to the creative work. If the students want to enter into the famous colleges, they need not only to do well in the exam, but also they need to join the social activities. Sometimes thelatter part is more important than the former part. This educational idea is good for students’ creativity. Much has been discussed recently on English teaching at college, Someone says that it is a total failure. To some extent , it is reasonable to say so, for after ten-year English learning, most graduates cant properly communicate with foreigners, nor can we translate between languages, let alone write in English. Where are the problem? To begin with, English teaching at college, to a great extent, teacher-centerde, turning a language class into an information class. It is still very common in the classroom that the teacher explains every language point in detail, while students take notes all the time. Secondly, culture is neglected in English teaching because of poor text design. Some redundant unrealistic materials and a great deal or grammar and structure exercises in the text lead to studentsmemorizing a large vocabulary and a lot of English rules. Few students know how , when and where to use them. Finally, test-oriented education, in a sense, misleads and impedes college English teaching in China. For example, colege English Test Band Four or Six is so overemphasized in some colleges that teachers teach to the test, sacrificing learning for the sake of test results, and students only learn to pass the examination. As a result ,students actual language competence is weakened though the passing rate has increased. In conclusion, Chinese English teaching is to be reformed. Students should be centered on , culture knowledge ,should be introduced in language teaching , and examination should be dealt with appropiately.。

2exams are an essential part of learning and life. they are also the best time to test your learning achievements.in our life, there will always be another test and another dazzling score.for students, marks are everything, leaving marks is like fish leaving water and losing everything.for students with good grades, examinations are not so much a boon as a chance to show off their talents.but for underachieving students, it's not an exaggeration to say that exams are more like jail time. they can be intimidating and stressful.but i think grades are not everything. exams are just a milestone in learning.there are so many difficulties in life. only by defeating them one by one, our life will be more beautiful!

1Learning English at college is different from learning English at middle school. In middle school, we learn English mainly for the entrance examination for college, while the purpose of learning English at college is quite different. We study foreign languages now to improve our ability to work in the future and especially to communicate with foreiguers. How can we learn English well at college? Firstly, you should try your best to enlarge your vocabulary. Only in this way can you read more smoothly and understand others well. Secondly, you should pay more attention to the listening and speaking ability in learning English. While talking with foreigners, if you cant understand them, and do not know how to express yourself, the talking will be very difficult. And the last point is that you should improve your English whenever and wherever you can.Obviously, there is still a long way for us to go to learn English well. As a proverb says, Never too old to learn. There are so many methods to learn English. So long as you keep on studying, your English will surely be improved. 2In general, knowledge gained from books has a wider range than that gained from experience. We now live in a world that typophile is no longer exorbitant, and that printed matters are readily available. In libraries, we can learn nearly everything only if we have already acquired basic reading skills, philosophy, history, literature, physics, mathematics, chemicals, biology, geography, anthropology, and the list will go on. Unlike the experience of an individual that is limited by the range of that individual, books seem to have almost no limitation. Sitting in the local library, we virtually can travel everywhere through an interesting geographic encyclopedia, and certainly, with nearly no expense at all. On the other hand, it can be argued that sometimes knowledge gained from experience is much deeper and more comprehensive than that gained from books. It is quite true that not every thing is contained in books. How to deal with personal finance, how to cope with current social trends, even how to most effectively organize our own mind, and numerous other things can seldom be found thoroughly and comprehensively discussed in books, we have to gain the knowledge by our own experience. And the sad news is that even some knowledge that is contained in books usually needs further comprehension, mainly through experience. As to which source is more important, the answers vary. Some knowledge can be acquired only through books. It's hard to imagine we can have a good understanding of history without reading books. On the other hand, some knowledge can be obtained only through experience. When we try to learn to swim, merely a detailed manual of swimming skills, even abundantly filled with illustrations, is at most useless. We have to jump into the water and then gain the knowledge with experience. We have to use books and experience as source simultaneously to get what we want to know. Take learning physics for example, both books and experiences are equally important sources, and examples as such are numerous. Therefore, I think whether one source is more important than the other depends on circumstances.

the push-button Neanderthal Today, It’s honor for me to give a small talk to everybody here. What I am going to talk is about professor John Cicardi’s idea of college education. Right, let's get started.
Nowadays, many college students hold the idea that non-major is useless to find job when graduated. Indeed, professional courses teach you some necessary professional skills which will be your income, and may it always suffice. The professor agrees that professional skills should be taught because they are necessary for making a living . Without them the students would not be able to keep themselves alive or raise family when they step into the social .
Supposing that the non-major courses like literature and philosophy is unnecessary for science students, so,why universities not as vocation school to open professional courses merely? Additionally, what is the differences between college education and technical training?
Professor John Cicardi takes the attitude that universities should give student more than just job
skills. They should also expose them to fine arts, music, literature, ideas of the great minds in human history. Providing not, you are on your way to being that new species of mechanized savage, the push-button Neanderthal. And as true of the techniques of mankind,so it is true of mankind’s spiritual resources. As the professor say, for a student who wants to be a physicist, the humanities are necessarily a gift; it offers you a life that you have not the time to live yourself, and it takes you into a world have not the time to travel in literal time.
The university, therefor, is not just a job-training school, but a storehouse of human experience in writing. That’s all, thank you!。
