Question If a seller has to take one product from a consignment of goods as a sample for sale, should he select the best quality product? Why or why not?

A sample is a product, perhaps selected from a whole consignment lot or perhaps specifically designed and processed. Sale by sample means a sale made on the basis of a sample. The two parties agree that the quality and condition of the bulk of the goods will be at least as good as that of the sample. When the seller supplies the sample, it is sale by seller’s sample. When the buyer offers the sample, it is a sale by buyer’s sample. In either case the seller is responsible for delivering goods of equivalent quality.
