二、游戏实施的原因及目的:"All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy."(只工作,不玩耍,聪明的孩子会变傻)儿童具有活泼好动、好模仿、好玩、好奇心强、自制力差、认识活动以具体形象为主的特点。

长久以来,如何抓住儿童注意力、激发儿童求知欲成为儿童教育的难题。

然而,游戏恰好解决了儿童“学与玩”的矛盾,而且它可以满足儿童自我表现欲望强烈的需要。

所以游戏成为符合儿童好玩好动特点的、受到普遍喜爱的活动。

它把英语语言知识的学习与英语语言技能的训练有机地结合在娱乐活动中,既可以改变英语教学的枯燥、呆板的局面,又可以培养学生学习英语兴趣,激发儿童求知欲,还可以发展学生的智力与非智力因素,起到“以趣激情、寓教于乐”的作用。

三、设计游戏的几个原则充分研究儿童的心理活动规律表明,游戏的成功在于某种程度上取决于游戏对儿童心理的满足程度。

游戏越能满足儿童心理,则越成功,否则相反。

由此看出,设计游戏也必须以儿童的心理规律为基础。
