【主旨】美国本土人的传统
【内容】美国土著的一种部落间仪式,该仪式有维护稳定的作用。3个clans一起,一个host,另两个是客人,主持的分食物给客人。
3个clans的角色:
Host决定仪式上的唱歌和跳舞,guest是去witness, brother in law的人决定仪式的speech.收成好的当host,补给guest,还说了clan的建筑师公共的,教授觉得这样好,因为可以充分利用labor force。大家一起干活,payment就相当于在仪式上分给大家了。

这道题虽然不在小范围预测的思路里面,但是上过模串段的孩纸应该会觉得很眼熟哦,这道题模串班的我们课上讲解的原题哟,有木有很开心呢,参考理由如下:
参考思路
(1)可以培养(cultivate)年轻人的独立性(independence),如果一直依赖父母做决定,年轻人就没有决断力,很难独立思考独立行动,无法成熟的。
2.那个时候没有花供蜜蜂生存。
2.蜜蜂当时可以靠non-flower plants such as pine tree为食,现在的蜜蜂依靠花蜜,实际是对植物evolution的适应。
3.发现的蜂巢跟现在的比不够detail,可能是别的动物的巢穴。
3.chemical evidence证明蜜蜂在筑巢的时候,会加入一种特殊的化学成分来防止蜂巢被水给淹了,而对发现的古代的蜂巢的研究,发现了相同的化学成分。
(2)年轻人自己做决定更加有利于年轻人的发展,因为年轻人对自己比较了解,知道自己喜欢什么,擅长什么,父母的决定未必适合自己。
(3)年轻人自己做决定比较有利于和父母之间的亲情(kinship)的,父母做的决定孩子可能不满意,叛逆的(rebellious)的孩子就很容易和父母产生冲突(conflicts)。

【内容】主要讲细胞的发现,lens技术的发展做出的贡献,新的理论发展关于动植物细胞的分类观察,最后提到advanced theory关于变异细胞导致疾病等现象。
观点1:一开始有个科学家用one-lens显微镜观察微生物,结果没有观察到单细胞,于是他觉得life comes from nothing
【内容】西班牙的长篇史诗和短诗,长篇留下来的只有几首,而短诗保存完好,有很多。长篇有4000多行,举的例子是描述一次战争,它从事情的中间开始叙述,不知道是叙述手法还是因为确实是前面的部分;而短篇只有十余行。后来的人用短篇里的内容来填补长篇里缺失的部分,而且短篇往往将的是长篇的climax部分。
有学生提问短篇是完全cut from长诗么,还是只是被长篇inspired。教授说两种可能都有。

【主旨】化学混合物
【内容】讲了两种混合物,homogeneous和heterogeneous,区别的方法是有几种phase。有的看上去只有一种phase,但放大了看就会发现有很多phase,比如dirty water,solid是hetero,可以通过过滤或者其他方法分离。salt water是homo之类,酒精和水混合以后就没有界限了。之后讲了溶液的过滤,蒸馏。最后教授说有时候混合物会改变物体的性质,比如盐水的结冰温度根据含盐量不同而不同等等。

第一,虽然可以稳定价格,但这种价格减少的原因是政府投入了资金,这些资金来自税收,所以价格减少的这个幅度最终的买单者是人民。
第二,不能帮助弱国,当贫穷国家出现粮食危机需要进口的时候,他们会发现进口的价格低于本的粮食的价格,因而不能保护当地农民的利益。
第三,不能增加就业,农业补贴只用于一部分农作物如crop,当农业补贴加大,那么为了提高生产力,crop的生产方式会高度机械化,所以不用人工劳作,而且,种植其他农业品种的企业没有优势会倒闭,加深就业问题。
