一、模仿课文，开拓思路
在学生学习课文后，我与学生共同分析整篇课文是怎样围绕中心选择材料，安排题材，通过已知的信息，实际，模仿课文进行书面表达训练。
通过仿写和改写，一方面帮助学生了解和掌握教材中不同体裁文章的写作特点和技巧，另一方面，学生自然地巩固和掌握了课文中的词组，句型，做到学以致用，提高了学生在具体文章中综合运用基础知识的能力。
二、联系实际，贴近生活，自编写作对话
新教材文并茂，材料丰富，教师可以利用课文精心设计一个或几个话题，让学生分组讨论分析，然后要求学生将讨论的内容，编成对话或短文，实现口头表达向书面表达的转化，以利于培养学生的写作能力。
例如，学习内容是问怎样才能找到去邮局的路？Which is the way to the nearest dost office? 在教学过程中，我安排了一个书目表达的内容，假如你在汽车站，怎样才能到达第一中学，题目为"the way to no.1 middle school"学生马上展开激烈的讨论，几分钟后，大部分学生都能很好地完成这个书面表达任务。
这类贴近生活的话题能诱发学生的写作兴趣，使其有话可写，有感而发，还能增强学生的自信心，使学生的写作能力得到充分提高。
三、规范文体格式，明确写作要求
英语写作有严格的文体格式，在训练学生写作时，不仅要指导学生写出合乎语法规则的语句，而且要求学生的格式必须符合特定的文体。
例如，日记，书信等等，如在写作过程中对英语时态的运用，经常颠来倒去，特别是有的文中涉及几种时态，不少学生在描述过程中不能及时运用时态的转换，针对学生书面表达中普遍存在的格式不规范和语法错误，我精选书面语格式制作成直观动态的多媒体演示课件，从基本的要求规则，再列出典型错误，让学生当堂练习，讨论，找出自己平时存在的错误和不良习惯，及时纠正，这样就太大地降低了学生在这方面的错误。
四、利用听力材料书面表达
教材workbook中为学生提供了许多听力的材料。
我在对学生进行听力练习的同时，要求学生把难易适中的听力材料内容写出来，把听力和书面表达有机的结合起来。
例如，听录音回答问题，问题回答之后，我要求学生根据这些问题写一篇短文，这样的训练既取材于教材，使他们能较顺利地完成学习任务，激发了他们对英语书面表达的兴趣，又巩固了课文内容。
当然，对学生的书面表达还要适当面批，具体问题具体面批，无法统一订正，不过毕竟话题相同，学生在表达过程中会有很多相似的错误。
教师在批完作业后将同类错误记下来，然后呈现在黑板上，集体订正。
这种方法给全体学生留下较深刻的印象。
五、读写结合提高学生书面表达能力
1 读是写的基础，写是读的延伸。
读写相结合才能有效的提高学生的综合能力。
在教学中，教师首先要求要熟读课文，形成一定的语
感。
在阅读的基础上，找出关键词，中心句。
通过扩写句子，改写句子不断丰富我们的内容，提高英语表达技能。
2 借助于一些课堂活动，坚持读写练习。
如教师口头表述，学生进行跟写练习。
通过调整语速，发音，使学生逐步适应英语口语的发音特点，提高书写速度和准确性。
3 要坚持经常性的写作练习。
在写作过程中既能进一步熟悉一些固定句型的用法，也能加深对单词、词汇的理解。
比如坚持写日记，把每天的所见所闻以及做过的事情记下来，久而久之，写的技巧就会熟练。
4 不要急于求成，要循序渐进地进行，先要学会造句，把简单句写熟练，然后再练习写复合句，进而写段，最后写整篇文章。
