As time went by, tea became popular among likeminded people, Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism and cultivation culture. Until Tang Dynasty, tea culture began taking shape. When it came to Song Dynasty, tea culture became thriving. When people migrated, they would offer tea. When people engaged, they would send tea. When people got married, they would settle tea. Tea became an important part in their daily life. In china, the main varieties of tea are green tea, black tea, Oolong tea, scented tea, white tea, yellow tea and dark tea. In the early days, the Chinese boiled their tea leaves with water and other ingredients such as salt and ginger; later they ground the dried leaves to a powder and whipped them up with hot water. It was not until that Ming Dynasty that it became common practice to infuse the loose tea leaves in hot water in teapots, and then to pour the infused liquid into bowls to drink. Good afternoon!Ladies and Gentlemen,Firstly,I’m very glad to be here to give a speech.and,my topic is “The traditional values that we can’t afford to lose”As a college student,there are so many things for me to talk about the traditional values.we try our best to make our life better,but at the same time,we pay their little attention to our family or something else.
Nowdays,it is a common thing that spending money on their birthday,drinking with their friends or girl-frinends,even indulging themselves into the computer games among contemporary college students.so ,they don’t have the “so-called’’time to call their families,.The Mother’s Day just past few days,did you call her?Maybe some of you just call your mom only for money,you would say anything but money.next,I want to share a case with you.
A few days ago,I just heared a student ,one of my classmates called his mom,he said:mum,I have no money now,send me some right now and give me more next.On hearing that his mom cant’t send money to him right now.he lost his temper and hang up.obiviously,he let his mom down and broken his mom heart.at that time,I;m very angry and want to give him a fist.i want to ask him some quite easily questions,such as ,Do you remember your parents’birthday? Do you know what kind of Tv programme they like? Do you know what kind of food they love?maybe it sound like a joke,but it is a truth that you ignored.you may know your girlfrinend birthday and characterristic but you mightn’t know how old your parents are.you may value your friendship but you never treasure your parental love,you may remember the “valentines day”but you never know the”mother”day,or fathers’day”. Besides,more and more girls want to marry a man who has a car,a house,and so on.even they don’t care how old the man is. they think money, a car is everything.there is no doubt that they lost the traditional values.
As far as I’m concerned,I do hope you can remember how hard parent’s life is when you spent much time or money on something that are not about study.I do hope you have a right eyes on friendship.And I do hope you can understand what is good and what is not good.
To sum up,the traditional values are of great importance.So,they are worth to be valued.Hey,Ladies and Gentlemen,let’s put attention to the traditional values.
I think you can do it,do it well!Because,I believe it’s attitude not aptittud,determines your altitude.Only in this way,can we have a better life!
