The elephants were so big and strong, and theydid all kinds of tricks like balancing on balls and standing on their hind legs. The elephant even trumpeted in excitement, which made me laugh.That day at the zoo was one of the best days of my life. I want to share it with you guys.It was a sunny day and we had a field trip to the zoo. I was so excited because I love animals. I couldn't wait to see all the different kinds of animals in real life, not just in books or on TV.When we got to the zoo, we split up into groups with our teachers. I was with my best friends, Sarah and Tom. We went to see the monkeys first. They were swinging from tree to tree and making all kinds of funny noises. It went all around the zoo and we got to see so many more animals. We even saw a giraffe up close! It was so tall and graceful.At the end of the day, we all got ice cream cones.
