1. 教学内容分析
这节课是冀教版九年级第三单元第13课，也是这个单元的第一课。这节会话课，讲述了同学们在布置的过程中发生意外，摔伤后同学们想办法把受伤者送到医院及时得到救助的故事。由此引出有关安全的话题，警示学生安全无小事，要防患于未然。教材开头在Think about it 中通过两个有关生活安全的开放性问题引导师生展开讨论，旨在让学生联系自己的实际生活，从生活中回忆发生的意外事故，从而导入本课内容。课本中的两幅插图为学生理解文本起到了帮助作用。本课还给出了四个讨论问题和课文缩写练习，最后的角色扮演是对学生本课学习知识生活化的高层次要求，是提高学生交际能力，培养学生核心素养的非常受欢迎的策略之一。本课教学设计中借助交互式白板教学，通过预设的问题链引导学生弄清事故的过程，通过互动学习学生让学会关心他人，帮助他人，与他人合作，让大家树立安全意识，快乐成长，也是素质教育的重要内容。
2. 学习者分析
本班学生进入九年级，英语学习已经有了一定的基础，学习英语也积累了一定的经验，能够用简单的英语表达自己的思想，学习英语也寻找到了适合自己的一些学习方法，学生对英语学习由低层次的记忆背诵开始向较高层次的分析以及思维创造能力发展，学生尝试用英语思维，用英语表现自我，他们对语言的交际能力有了新的要求。然而学生在学习过程中依然受到母语的负迁移，在与他人交流时不能顺利地用英语思维，英语学习为难情绪增加，一定程度上影响了他们学习英语的兴趣。这些能力的提高需要教师在课堂教学中给学生示范，鼓励学生开口说英语，给学生创造锻炼提高展现自我的机会，帮助学生树立自信，克服语言学习的诸多障碍，发展学生的英语核心素养。

二、教材分析
本课话题为交通事故，既有意义，又能引起学生兴趣，是对学生进行安全教育的良好素材。
What
本单元的对话是由一起交通事故引起的，通过她对事故的描述，让学生获取到关于事故的基本信息（时间、地点、人物、经过、原因），并提出了相应的安全建议。
Why
本单元描述的是可能发生在学生身边的突发事件，能引起学生共鸣。另一方面，让学生了解事故的发生原因，提高学生的安全意识，使其学会从事故的源头避免事故，增强学生保护自身安全的自觉性和进行交通规则宣传的社会责任感。
How
本单元以对话的形式呈现，先描述事故，再提出避免事故的建议。对话使用的是过去进行时，语言生动，简明易懂，与日常生活息息相关，具有重要的社会意义。
三、学生分析
本课的教学对象是九年级学生，总体水平中等，课堂气氛较活跃。经过对第七模块的学习，基本能够正确描述过去正在发生的事情，因此学生对本节课的听力对话的理解难度不大，关于“事故”这一极具生活色彩的话题也有话可说。但大多数只是局限于简单的一问一答，不能对事故进行全面而整体的描述。另一方面，对于以记者的身份采访事故目击者并进行新闻报道这一课堂任务，学生角色转换上有困难，需要教师在如何获取新闻素材、如何进行新闻报道等方面进行引导和示范。
四、教学目标
通过本课，学生能够：
1. 在听力活动中获取并梳理交通事故的时间、地点、人物、经过及原因等信息。
2. 利用获取的信息，并结合思维导图，向新闻训练营成员进行事故新闻报道。
3. 提高安全意识，培养避险能力，增强社会责任感。

教学难点：
