We haven't had that since 1969.""And, still, those, voices, are, calling, from, far, away, And the voices are still coming from far away,Wake, you, up, in, the, middle, of, the, nightWake you up in the middle of the nightJust, to, hear, them, say...Just hear them singing......"Welcome, to, the, Hotel, California."""Welcome to the Hotel California.""Such, a, lovely, place, Such, a, lovely, faceWhat a lovely place, what a lovely face! They, livin', it, up, at, the, Hotel, CaliforniaThey indulged in the Hotel CaliforniaWhat, a, nice, surprise, bring, your, alibis"What a wonderful surprise that brings you the excuse you want!"Mirrors, on, the, ceiling, The, pink, champagne, on, iceMirrors on the ceiling, pink champagne on the iceAnd she said: "We, are, all, just, prisoners, here, of, our, own, device.""Then she said, "we are just prisoners here, willing to be driven by ourselves.""And, in, the, master's, chambers, They, gathered, for, the, feast; Then in the master's room, they gathered before the feast; They, stab, it, with, their, steely, knives, they stab it with their steely knivesBut, they, just, can't, kill, the, beastBut you can't stab the beastLast, thing, I, remember, I, was, running, for, the, doorI remember the last thing I did was run to the gateI, had, to, find, the, passage, back, to, the, place,, I, was, beforeI must find my way back to where I used to be"Relax", said, the, night-man, "We, are, programmed, to, receive.""Relax," said the night man, "we are all vulnerable to temptation,You, can, checkout, any, time, you, like,You can checkout when you like, But, you, can, never, leave!" love yourselfBut when you told me that you hated my friendsThe only problem was with you and not themAnd every time you told me my opinion was wrongAnd tried to make me forget where I came fromAnd I maybe you should know thatMy mama don't like you and she likes everyoneAnd I never like to admit that I was wrongAnd I've been so caught up in my job, didn't see what's going onAnd now I know, I'm better sleeping on my ownCause if you like the way you look that muchOh baby you should go and love yourselfAnd if you think that I'm still holdin' on to somethin'You should go and love yourselfFor all the times you made me feel smallI fell in love, now I fear nothin' at allI never felt so low when I was vulnerableWas I a fool to let you break down my walls?Cause if you like the way you look that muchOh baby you should go and love yourselfAnd if you think that I'm still holdin' on to somethin' You should go and love yourselfCause if you like the way you look that muchOh baby you should go and love yourselfAnd if you think that I'm still holdin' on to somethin' You should go and love yourselfThe feelingYou are to meA part of me just like anatomyYou're pulling meYou're pulling me in like you're gravityI'm notorious for thinking you're full of beautiful Instead of hollowSugar on your lips, it's hard to killJagged like a pill, so hard to swallowAm I in love with you? Am I in love with you?Or am I in love with the feeling?Trying to find the truth, trying to find the truthBut sometimes the heart is deceivingCan't get out of my head and I need you to save meIf I am delusional then maybe I'm crazyIn love with you, am I in love with you?Or am I in love with the feeling? You give to meEverything, anything that I could dreamAnd at least that's what it seemsCould it be I don't know what's good for me?I'm notorious for thinking you're full of beautiful Instead of hollowSugar on your lips, it's hard to killJagged like a pill, so hard to swallowAm I in love with you? Am I in love with you?Or am I in love with the feeling?Trying to find the truth, trying to find the truthBut sometimes the heart is deceivingCan't get out of my head and I need you to save meIf I am delusional then maybe I'm crazyIn love with you, am I in love with you?Or am I in love with the feeling?SorryMP3歌词:You gotta go and get angry at all of my honestyYou know I try but I don't do too well with apologiesI hope I don't run out of time, could someone call a referee?Cause I just need one more shot at forgivenessI know you know that I made those mistakes maybe once or twiceBy once or twice I mean maybe a couple a hundred timesSo let me, oh let me redeem, oh redeem, oh myself tonightCause I just need one more shot at second chancesYeah, is it too late now to say sorry?Cause I'm missing more than just your bodyIs it too late now to say sorry?Yeah I know that I let you downIs it too late to say I'm sorry now?I'm sorry, yeahSorry, yeahSorryYeah I know that I let you downIs it too late to say I'm sorry now?I'll take every single piece of the blame if you want me toBut you know that there is no innocent one in this game for two I'll go, I'll go and then you go, you go out and spill the truth Can we both say the words and forget this?Is it too late now to say sorry?Cause I'm missing more than just your bodyIs it too late now to say sorry?Yeah I know that I let you downIs it too late to say I'm sorry now?I'm not just trying to get you back on meCause I'm missing more than just your bodyIs it too late now to say sorry?Yeah I know that I let you downIs it too late to say I'm sorry now?I'm sorry, yeahSorry, ohSorryYeah I know that I let you downIs it too late to say I'm sorry now?I'm sorry, yeahSorry, ohSorryYeah I know that I let you downIs it too late to say I'm sorry now?I'll Show YouMP3歌词:My life is a movie and everyone's watchingSo let's get to the good part and past all the nonsense Sometimes it's hard to do the right thingWhen the pressure's coming down like lightningIt's like they want me to be perfectWhen they don't even know that I'm hurtingThis life's not easy, I'm not made out of steelDon't forget that I'm human, don't forget that I'm real You act like you know me, but you never willBut that's one thing that I know for sureI'll show youI'll show youI'll show youI'll show youI got to learn things, learn them the hard wayTo see what it feels like, no matter what they say Sometimes it's hard to do the right thingWhen the pressure's coming down like lightningIt's like they want me to be perfectWhen they don't even know that I'm hurtingThis life's not easy, I'm not made out of steelDon't forget that I'm human, don't forget that I'm real You act like you know me, but you never willBut that's one thing that I know for sureI'll show youI'll show youI'll show youI'll show youThis life's not easy, I'm not made out of steelDon't forget that I'm human, don't forget that I'm real You act like you know me, but you never willBut that's one thing that I know for sureI'll show you *4。

My name is Jamie and I'm going to tell you all about the city I live in - Springfield. Springfield is a medium-sized city located right in the heart of the United States. To me, it's the best place in the world and I feel so lucky to call it my hometown.First off, let me give you a little background on Springfield's history. The area was originally inhabited by Native American tribes like the Delaware and Shawnee people. Then in the early 1800s, settlers from the east started moving in and establishing farms and a town. Springfield was officially founded in 1821 and got its name from the many springs scattered around the area. Over time it grew from a little frontier village into the bustling city it is today. Now let me tell you about what makes Springfield so great in my opinion. One of the best things is the location - we're pretty much right in the middle of the country, which makes it easy to travel to both coasts. We're only a few hours' drive from major cities like Chicago, Indianapolis, and St. Louis. But even though we're conveniently located, Springfield itself has kind of a small-town vibe which I really like. The downtown area is super cool with lots of historic buildings, museums, restaurants, shops, and parks. My favoritespot is the Old State Capitol building where Abraham Lincoln actually worked and gave speeches back in the day. They have these awesome re-enactors who dress up in period costumes and everything. The Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum is another must-see attraction that gets visitors from all over.Speaking of Lincoln, that's definitely what Springfield is most famous for - being the home of our 16th president. You can't go far without seeing statues, museums, and historic sites related to Lincoln. We take a lot of pride in being his hometown! Every year Springfield hosts huge birthday and memorial celebrations to honor Lincoln's legacy. But there's more to do here than just Lincoln stuff. We have some really nice parks perfect for hiking, biking, having picnics, or just hanging out. The one I go to most is Washington Park which has beautiful gardens, a little lake, and the amazing Botanical Gardens greenhouse filled with exotic plants from around the world. In the summer they hold outdoor concerts and movie nights on the park grounds which are always fun. There's also an amazing zoo in Washington Park called the Henson Robinson Zoo with all kinds of cool animals like tigers, bears, monkeys, and reptiles.Another great thing about Springfield is the food scene - we have restaurants serving up every kind of cuisine you can imagine. My personal favorites are the Mexican joints that make delicious tamales, enchiladas, tacos, you name it. But we've also got awesome pizzerias, BBQ shacks, sushi places, you get the idea. And we can't forget about the Cozy Dog Drive In that claims to have invented the first corn dog on a stick back in the 1940s!As for sports and activities, we've got plenty of those too. Springfield has a minor league baseball team called the Sliders. Their games are a blast to go to with fun promotions and a nice stadium right downtown. We're also big into high school sports around here, especially basketball, football, and soccer. For kids like me, there are trampoline parks, laser tag arenas, bowling alleys, roller skating rinks, mini golf courses, you name it! The Field House is a giant indoor sports complex with basketball courts, soccer fields, batting cages, rock climbing walls - pretty much any sport or activity you can think of. It's one of my favorite hangout spots.I could honestly go on and on about all the fun stuff to do in Springfield, but I think you get the idea. It's just an all-around great city to live in with friendly people, lots of history andattractions, good schools, low cost of living, you name it. We've got the perfect mix of big city amenities with that classic Midwestern small-town charm. So if you're ever in the central Illinois area, definitely make sure to swing through Springfield and check it out! You can admire the Lincoln sites, eat some amazing food, catch a baseball game, and experience a little slice of heartland America. Who knows, you might even decide to move here like my family did years ago. Springfield will always be my beloved hometown!篇4My Wonderful Home CityHi everyone! My name is Alex and I'm a 14-year-old middle school student. Today I want to tell you all about the amazing city I live in. Even though I've lived here my whole life, I never get tired of exploring and discovering new things about this place. Let me give you a tour of my wonderful home city!First up, let's talk about the location. My city is situated right on the coast of a beautiful lake. The lake stretches out for miles and miles, with crystal clear blue waters. I love going to the beach in the summer and playing in the waves or building sandcastles. The sunsets over the lake are just breathtaking too -the colors light up the whole sky in brilliant oranges, pinks and purples. It's such a peaceful place to watch the day come to an end.In the center of the city is the bustling downtown area, with tall skyscrapers and office buildings. It's a major business hub for the region, with lots of important companies headquartered here. My dad works downtown at a big law firm. I really enjoy visiting sometimes and looking up at the impressive glass and steel towers. It makes me dream about having an important job like that when I grow up!For shopping, dining and entertainment, you can't beat Main Street. This long avenue is lined with all kinds of fun stores, restaurants, movie theaters, arcades and more. The sidewalks are always crowded with people out enjoying themselves. I especially love the old-fashioned ice cream parlor that's been there since forever. Getting a triple scoop cone piled high with sprinkles is the best treat on a hot day!My favorite place in the whole city though is Central Park. This massive green space right in the heart of downtown has hiking trails winding through forests, pretty ponds with ducks swimming around, playgrounds for kids, and wide open fields perfect for picnics or just relaxing. Whenever I'm feeling stressedout with school or other stuff, I go spend an hour or two at the park. Just being surrounded by nature instantly calms me down and clears my head. For sports fans, we've got a major league baseball stadium that's pretty new and state-of-the-art. I try to go to at least a couple games each summer to cheer on our hometown heroes. There's no beating the atmosphere of a big crowd going wild for a big home run or diving catch. Fingers crossed they make it to the World Series this year!I can't forget to mention our city's incredible diversity too. We have people here from all over the world, making it a true melting pot of cultures, foods, traditions and more. Sometimes it feels like you can travel the globe just by walking around the different neighborhoods! This makes for some amazing ethnic festivals throughout the year, where you can sample delicious foods, see colorful dances and costumes, and really immerse yourself in another way of life. It's so awesome to have that kind of variety right at our doorstep. As you can probably tell, I absolutely love living in this city. It's got a little bit of everything - beautiful nature areas, a thriving downtown, tons of attractions and things to do, and people from every corner of the globe. While it's a major metropolitan area, itstill has a hometown kind of vibe that makes it feel cozy and welcoming. Sure, the traffic can be a headache sometimes and the winters are pretty brutal. But I wouldn't want to grow up anywhere else! This will always be my home city.Well, that's my tour in a nutshell (or I guess I should say, in a 2000 word essay!). I hope you enjoyed learning about all the cool things my city has to offer. If you're ever in the area, let me know and I'll be your personal guide to show you around all thecan't-miss spots. Thanks for letting me share a slice of my hometown pride!篇5The City That Never SleepsHi there! My name is Emily, and I'm an 8th-grader who loves to explore new places. 希拉里和特朗普第一次辩论全文英文

Round One: Achieving ProsperityThe question is about putting more money into the Americans’ pockets. First we have to build an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top. That means we need more jobs, good jobs with rising incomes.I want us to invest in you. I want us to invest in your future. That means jobs in infrastructure and in mass manufacturing, in innovation and technology, clean renewable energy and in small businesses because most of the jobs will come from small business. We also have to make the economy fairer. That starts with raising the national minimum wage and also guarantee finely equal pay for women" s work.I also wane see more companies do profit sharing. If you helped make the profit you should be able to share them, not just the executives at the top.And I want us to do more to support people who are struggling to balance family and work. I’ ve heard from so many of you about the difficulties you face and the stresses you' re under. And let’ s have paid family leave, earned sick days. Let’ s make sure we have affordable childcare and debt-free college. How are we gone do it ? We' re gonna do it by making the wealthy pay their fair share, close the corporate loopholes. Our jobs are fleeing the country. They are going to Mexico. They are going to many other countries. You look at what China' s doing to our country in terms of making our product. They ' re devaluing their currency and there ody in’ ours government to fight them. And we have a very good fight and we have a winning fight because they are using our country as apiggy bank to rebuild China and many other countries are doing the same thing. So we are losing our good jobs, so many of them. When you look at what' s happening in Mexico, one of my friend built a plantsaid it' s the eighth wonder of the world. They're building the big estsome of plants, anywhere in the world, some of the most sophisticated, some of thebest plants. With the United States, as you said, not so much.So Ford is leaving. You see, that, their small cars division, leaving. Thousands of jobs, leaving Michigan, leaving Ohio. They ' re all leaving. And we cannot allow it to happen anymore as far as childcare is concerned and so many other things.I think Hillary and I agree on that and we probably disagree on numbers and amounts and what we're going to do but perhaps we'll talk about that later. But we have to stop our jobs from being stolen from us. We have to stop our companies from leaving the United States, and with it, firing all of their people. All you have to do is take a look at the Carrier air-conditioning in Indianapolis. They left fired 1,400 people. They are going to Mexico. So many, hundreds and hundreds companies are doing this. We cannot let it happen.Under my plan, I' ll be reducing taxes tremendously from 35% to 15% for companies, small and big businesses. That 's gonna be a job creator, like, we haven't seen since Ronald Regan. It going to be a beautiful thing to watch.Companies will come. They will build. They will expand. New companies will start. And I look very very much forward to doing it.We have to renegotiate our trade deals. We have to stop these countries from stealing our companies and our jobs.Round Two: Let's Talk About RaceRace remains a significant challenge in our country. Unfortunately race still determines too much. Often determines where people live. Determines what kind of education in their public schools they can get. And, yes, it determines how they re treated in the criminal justice system. We' ve just seen those tragic examples in both Tulsa and Charlotte. And we' got to do several things at the same time.We have to restore trust between communities and the police. We have to work to assure that our police are using the best training, the best technique, that they' re well prepared to use force only when necessary.Everyone should be respected by the law. And everyone should respect the law. Right now that’ s not the case in a lot of our neighborhoods. So I have, ever since the first day of my campaign, called for criminal justice reform.I 've laid out a platform that I think will begin to remedy the problems we have in the criminal justice system. But we also have to recognize that in addition to the challenges we face with policing, there are so many brave, good police officers who equally want reform. So we have to bring communities together in order to work on that as a mutual goal. And we' ve got to get guns out of the hands of the people who should not have them. The gun epidemic is the leading cause of death of young African- American men, more than the next 9 causes put together. So we have to do 2 things as I said. We have to restore trust. We have to work with the police. We have to make sure they respect the communities and the communities respect them. And we have to tackle the plague of gun violence which is a contributor to a lot of problems we are seeing today.First of all, Secretary Clinton dosen law and order. We need law and order. We don't wanna use a couple of words. And that ' t have it. We are not gonna'twanna use a couple of words. And that' t have it. We are not gonna'twanna use a couple of words. And that’ t have it. We are not gonna'have a countryAnd when I look at what 's going on in Charlotte, the city I lovthe, city I have investments, when I look at what's going on through various parts of our country, whether it' s, I mean, I can just keep naming them all day long. We need law and order in our country. And I just got, today, the, eh you know, the endorsement, the fraternal order of police who just came in. We have endorsement from, I think, almost every police group, every, I mean, a lot percentage of them in the United States. We have a situation in which we have, eh, in the city, African-American, Hispanics are living in hell.Because it' s so dangerous. uYowalk down the street, you got shot.In Chicago, they' ve had thousands of shootings, thousands, since January 1st. Thousands of shootings. And I say: where is this? Is this a war-torn country. What are we doing? And we have to stop the violence. We have to bring back law and order in a place like Chicago where thousands of people have been killed, thousands, over the last number of years. In fact, almost 4,000 of people have been killed since Barack Obama became President. Over 4, almost 4,000 people have been killed in Chicago. We have to bring back law and order. Now, whether or not, in a place like Chicago, you do stop and frisk witch worked very well, Mary Julian is here, worked very well in New York. It brought the crime rate way down. But you take the gun away from criminals who shouldn't be having it. We have gangs roaming the street. And in many cases they' re illegally here, illegal immigrants. And they have guns. They shoot people. And we have to be very strong. We have to be very vigilant. We have to be, we have to know what we are doing.Right now our police, in many cases, are afraid to do anything. We have to protect our inner cities because African-American communities are being decimated by crime. Decimated! Round Three: Securing AmericaHillary :I think cyber security, cyber warfare will be one of the biggest challenges facing the next president because clearly we are facing at this point 2 different kinds of ad versaries. There are the independent hacking groups that do, mostly, for commercial reasons to try to steal information that they can use to make money. But increasingly we are seeing cyber attacks coming from states, all kinds of states. The most recent and troubling of these are from Russia. There's no doubt now that Russia has used cyber attacks against all kinds of organizations in our country and I am deeply concerned about this.I know Donald' s, very, paise-worthy of Vladimir Putin. But Putin is playing a really tough longAnd one of the things he's done is to let loose cyber attackers to hack into government files, to hack into personal files, hack into the Democratic National Committee. And we recently have learnt that, you know, this is one of their preferred methods of trying to wreak havoc and collect information. We need to make it very clear, whether it's Russia, China, Iran or anybody else. The United States has a much greater capacity and we are not gonna sit idly by and permit state actors to go after our information, our private sector information and our public sector information. And we are going to have to make it clear that we don' t want to use the kinds of tools that we have to engage in a different kind of warfare. But we will defend the citizens of this country. And the Russians need to understand that.I think they' ve been treating it as it is almost a probing. Howfar will we go?How much will we do? And that's why I was so, I was so shocked when Donald publicly invited Putin to hack into Americans. That is jus t unacceptable. That’ s onereasonsofthewhy 15 national security officials who serve in Republican Information Administration have said that Donald is unfit to be the commander in chief. There’ s comments like that really worry people who understand the thr eats that we face. Trump :Yeah, I do wanna say that I was just endorsed and more are coming the next week. It will be over 200 admirals, many of them are here, admirals and generals endorsed me to lead thisThat just happened and many more are coming. And I' m very proud of it. In addition I was just endorsed by ICE. They've never endorsed anybody before. On immigration I was just endorsed by ICE. I was just endorsed. 7,500 patrol agents. So when Secretary Clinton talks about this I' ll take the admirals and I' ll t generals, any day over the political hacks that I see that has led our country so brilliantly over the last 10 years with their knowledge.Because look at the mess we' re in. Look at the mess we' re in. As long as there's the cyber, I agree to parts of what Secretary Clinton said. We should be better than anybody else and perhaps we’ re not.I don't know if anybody knows that it's Russia that broke into the DNC. She saying Russia RussiaRussia. But I don't. Maybe it was. It could be Russia. But t could also be China. It could also be a lot of other people. Could also be somebody sitting on their bed that weighs 400 pounds, OK?You don' t know who broke into DNC. But what do we learn with DNC? We learnt that Bernie Sanders was taken advantage of by your people, by Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Look at what happened to her.But Bernie Sanders was taken advantage of. That's what we learned. Now, whether that was Russia, whether that was China, whether it was another country, we don't know, because the truth is, under President Obama we've lost control of things that we used to have control over. We came in with the Internet, we came up with the Internet, and I think Secretary Clinton and myself would agree very much, when you look at what ISIS isdoing with the Internet, they're beating us at our own game. ISIS.So we have to get very, very tough on cyber and cyber warfare. It is — it is a huge problem. I have a son. He's 10 years old. He has computers. He is so good with these computers, it's unbelievable. The security aspect of cyber is very, very tough. And maybe it's hardlydoable. But I will say, we are not doing the job we should be doing. But that's true throughout our whole governmental society.。

Here's the Indiana Roof Ballroom, set up for a party or business meeting.
But the Roof Ballroom began a long, sad decline during World War Two, when it seemed that all the men in town were off fighting the war. When they returned in the mid-'40's, tastes had shifted to movies, television, and livelier night spots. The Roof Ballroom hung on for 30 years before the owners gave up and shut the doors. Over the next eight years, the roof leaked, the dance floor warped, and stucco facades in the old, faux plaza crumbled. But the City of Indianapolis came to the rescue. It bought the theater building in the 1980s and leased the Roof Ballroom to a
If You're Ever in Indianapolis, Check out the Roof

From /voanews/english/ For generations, people in Indianapolis, Indiana, have been going to the Roof. But it's not on their housetop, or even outside. The Roof, as locals call it, is the Indiana Roof Ballroom. It's an enchanting dreamland on the top floor of an old theater building. Four nights a week from the late 1920s through the early 1940s, big-band leaders like Tommy Dorsey and singers like Frank Sinatra performed at dreamy dances there. Tiny tables surrounded the Roof's huge parquet wooden floor. There were only 25 of them, because couples came to dance, not sit and talk. Only ginger ale and a favorite local soft drink called Bubble-Up were served. But in souvenir photos of those days, more than a few metal flasks, no doubt containing something stronger than Bubble-Up, can be seen on the floor beneath the tables. The exotic ballroom was decorated like a Spanish plaza, surrounded by make-believe balconies and towers, tile roofs, gas lights, and grapevines. There were even real pigeons perched in some of the windows - though the birds were stuffed. When the lights dimmed, electric stars glittered across the dark blue ceiling. Fake clouds, projected from another machine, fluttered overhead. Swaying below, Indiana city and farm couples alike were transformed - if only for one romantic night - into glamorous dance teams.
have a lovely setting in which to make music.
So the Roof is busy again with wedding receptions and the like. And on six Sunday nights a year, ballroom dancers from as far away as St. Louis - two states away in Missouri - once again head to downtown Indianapolis to swing to the music of big bands and rekindle memories of long-ago dances and romances at the Roof.
A closer look at one of the balconies that lend a Mediterranean ambience to the ballroom.

developer, who not only fixed it up but installed what it called a scene machine to add more moody sky effects like synthetic snowfall. Even the stuffed pigeons got a thorough vacuuming.
