My viewpoint is students need to watch TV.As is know to all,TV has become the most effective media tool among the mass media such as radio,paper,movie.Watching TV makes it possible for the students to know what happened and what is happening in the world,home and abroad.Therefore,watching TV is really a good way of getting information about the outside world.

Secondly,watching TV can sometimes make the students relaxed especially when they feel great burden from study.The wonderful TV play and nice music on TV will surely lighten their burden and make them energetic again,then,they can study more intently.

Thirdly,TV can play the role of friend sometimes.As is know to all,most of the students today have no brother or sister.How do they spend time in their summer vacation which lasts nearly two months?You may say they will go to varous training class.Yes,you are right,but sometimes,they need to stay home alone.At that time,TV will be a very good friend which can provide them various information,to accompany them,and to make them feel happy.

In a word,I believe that students need to watch TV,since TV has become more and more important in everyone's daily life.

反方：一、电视使我们的家庭缺少了亲情。在家里我们过多的看电视，忽视了家庭成员之间的交流，家庭缺少了在一起聊天欢乐的时间。一家人为了看电视还经常出现分歧，老人喜欢看些古装戏，小孩喜欢看动画片，男同志喜欢看战争片和体育节目，女同志喜欢看时装和现代都市言情剧。各有各的喜好，为争电视的控制权，许多人会争抢遥控

器，有时会闹的不欢而散。

二、电视使我们花去了更多的看书学习时间。以前习惯于看书的人，由于电视的诱惑，很少花时间看书学习。特别是孩子，热衷于一些胡编乱造的电视剧，对学习失去了兴趣，学习成绩下降。现在的孩子普遍喜欢看电视而不喜欢看书。

三、电视会伤害我们的身体。许多人看电视看到很晚，每天睡眠时间严重不足，不但影响工作，还影响身体健康。长时间的看电视也会对眼睛产生影响，许多孩子看电视视力明显下降，很多人还戴上了眼镜。

四、看电视使我们减少了社交机会。有了电视，我们便不再喜欢出门，靠待在家里安安稳稳的看电视来打发时间。却少了出门的机会，也就缺少了与别人交往的机会，甚至邻里间也很少来往。

The whole families to watch the television also frequently present the difference,the old person likes looking that some play in which the characters

wear ancient costumes plays,the child likes watching the animated cartoon,the male comrade likes looking the war piece and sport program,the woman comrade likes looking the fashionable clothing and modern metropolis love the play.

Has each fondness respectively,to strive for television's domination,many people will fight for the remote control, sometimes will make parting on bad terms.

Second,television caused us to spend many reading study schedule.The beforehand custom in the reading person,as a result of the enticement of television,little flowered time reads the study.

Specially the child,craves in some baseless and irrational concoctions soap operas,to studying to lose the interest,the academic record dropped.Present's child generally likes looking that television does not like reading.
