英语中经常出现缩写的现象,它的形式一般是在第一个单词后加“’”,再加上第二个单词的一个辅音字母,这时应按照缩写的形式读。
Thanks相当于thank you. Thank you . / Thanks./ Thank you very much./ Thanks a lot.易错易混全解①How do you do ?与How are you ?这两个句子都表示“你好”之意,但二者用法不同。
(1)意义不同,How are you?为疑问句,意为,“你好吗?”;How do you do?形式上是疑问句,但实际上并不是疑问句,意为“你好!”。
