总体上说,它们可以分成两大类;即可数名词和不可数名词。

要注意它们在句中的不同要求和变化。

名词的单复数1.名词的可数与不可数是中考命题的热点之一,不可数名词前不能与a / an 连用;之后不能加s;之前不能与(a) few, many, several 等连用。

只能和(a) little, much 等连用。

常见的这类不可数名词有:bread cotton, food, meat, milk, glass, money , rice, water, ice, snow, life, work, time, health ; 有些东西在汉语里是可数的,而在英语里则不可数。

如:news, bread, paper,chalk, 等。

若要表示这类名词的“量”,需加a piece of 这类定语。
