My English teacher
英语一班周月琴(2010211941)
There are many teachers who have taught me in the past twelve
years. However, Mrs Li who taught me English in senior high school is
the teacher I like best. I'm deeply attracted by her personal charming as
well as her extraordinary role in teaching.
She is a middle-aged woman, tall and slim. She has curly, brown
hair and a round face with a small chin. What's more, her rosy cheeks and
a cheerful expression make her very popular among the students. All of
these leave a deep impression on me till nowadays.
In fact, the most important part is that she keeps a proper balance in
role as a teacher as well as a friend to us. In class, she is very strict with
us and always keeps the dignity of a teacher. She explains the lessons in
details and tries her best to make us understood easily. She attaches much
importance to our schoolwork and homework. On the other hand, she not
only leads us to cultivate an appreciation of beauty and perfection of
English and literature, but also makes us interested in exploring
something deeper in her field. While, as soon as class is over, she
becomes our friend. She visits our dormitory and has a chat with us.
When a student is in trouble, she is ready to help him with her greatest
efforts. Sometimes she will contact with our parents and informs them of
our latest information. In order to mingle with us, she has used many
ways she can think up and has managed it indeed. At last, she becomes
our good instructor as well as close friend.
Until now, I understand that teaching is the most glamorous job in
the sun. Also, my English teacher has done a great job. She sets a good
example for many teachers. As a future English teacher, I will follow in
her footsteps and make my students change their traditional notion so that
they treat me as their teacher and friend just we do .
This is my English teacher——an architecter of human soul.
