Vol.18No.15一、整体设计思路本堂课教学内容选自牛津广州《英语》八年级(上)Unit7Memory。
本堂课是基于真实任务的整合学习(real-life task-based integrative learning),“基于真实语言运用和学生学习的视角,把学生的知识学习、技能发展、能力提升、素养发展等整合到一个主题下的真实任务情境中,让学生在此情境中展开达成真实任务成果的相应活动,从而获得学习发展”(张荣干2017)。
本堂课为借班上课,基于教材内容与学生情况分析,笔者将本堂课的真实课时任务确定为让学生给贵州省望谟民族中学的学生分享自己恰当的记忆方法,具体描述如下:任务情境:贵州省望谟民族中学学生在英语记忆方面存在困难,希望你能和他们分享自己的记忆方法。
任务行为:(1)阅读课文中的三个案例,归纳记忆方法;(2)是否同意相关记忆方法;(3)列出自己的记忆方法;(4)列出给贵州省望谟民族中学学生的建议。
任务成果:列出与贵州省望谟民族中学学生分享自己的记忆方法清单。
二、语篇分析本文的主要内容是介绍提高记忆力的方法。
校报Memory Corner上三篇学生的习作介绍了三种不同的提高记忆力的方法:图像记忆法、编短句记忆单词法和理解记忆法。
文章以“观点+例子”的方式呈现三种记忆方法。
学生通过阅读本文了解三种记忆方法。
学生通过判断三种记忆方法是否有效,对谁有效,什么条件下有效等发展思维的逻辑性。
学生总结自己平时学习生活中恰当的记忆方法,并运用这些方法提高自己的记忆力。
文章中还多次出现了if和unless引导的条件状语从句,为接下来学习本单元语法板块的内容作铺垫。
三、学情分析学生英语基础较好且学习热情高。
学生已基本具备在阅读中获取细节信息的能力,部分学生能用英语自信地表达观点。
大多数学生在理解和整合知识、逻辑推理及批判评价等方面的能力比较欠缺。
此外,虽然学生对“记忆”这个话题并不陌生,但对记忆的方法缺乏更深入的了解,在总结恰当的记忆方法及举例说明上还存在一定困难。

(二)已有基础
本单元涉及“记忆”这些话题,这涉及到学习方法,学生们或多或少能用英语表达出一些学习方法。
