为了缩小学生学习差距,帮助学生树立重难点,及时总结单元重点知识,拓展学生英语学习兴趣,我校英语组老师在区精神的引领下,结合自身班级的实际情况,进行了班级特色作业设计。
经过一个学期的实践,现总结如下:
当知道要布置特色作业时,老师们普遍觉得迷茫,经过一起讨论,我们将特色作业目标制定如下:
1、培养学生英语学习兴趣和英语语用意识。
2、帮助学生重点训练知识重难点,及时总结回顾所学知识。
经过这样的思考,我们施行的特色作业内容涵盖如下:
一、我请学生当“小主人”。
请孩子来帮助你,是促使他主动用英语的第一步,是帮助他主动思维的重要举措。
英语组的老师在一学期的活动中,请学生当“小老师”,让学生说一说,练一练,对所学知识综合运用。
请学生当“小音乐家”,通过song and chant 给一首熟悉的曲子填词,或者模仿我编的chant或书本上的chant 再编一首新的chant。
如,教完颜色的单词后,朱雯婷、王晓霞老师让学生自编儿歌:blue bl ue I like blue,,yellow yellow I like yellow,red red red。
请学生当“设计师”。
如周锭老师让六年级的学生做手抄报,把学过的内容做在手抄报里,图文并茂。
布置趣味性作业,不但提高了学生的记忆效果和作业积极性,培养了他们的创造能力,调动了学生课外学习的积极性。
另外,好的学生作品教师会在班里展览,让学生享受成功的喜悦,增强学习的自信心。
二、我做练习“设计者”。
为了帮助学生突破教学重难点,每位教师提炼出不同年级的重难点,制定周期性复习计划和作业。
通过单元练习,学生及时查漏补缺,做到课课清,保证学习的质量。
三、科学地、创造性地评价作业。
当然,科学合理的评价是促使学生自我反思的重要手段。
通过给学生打等第、评分数、记星星等手段,给学生的学习进行评级,让学生了解到自身的差距。
