教学目标
1.能通过听例词发音,观察例词中共有的特征,学习字母组合th在单词中的发音规则;能跟着录音说唱歌谣,强化记忆th的发音规则。
2.能根据th的发音规则读出单词;能通过听录音、圈单词、读单词的活动,观察th在词首、词中和词末的发音,强化th的音—形对应关系。
3.能按照th的发音规则拼写出单词。
4.能在单线上完成抄写句子的活动,做到书写规范正确。

1.热身(Warm up)
(1)唱歌曲“When is your birthday?”。
(2)游戏:大转盘
规则:教师出示标有1~5五个序数词的大转盘,转动指针,指针停止时学生说出指针所指着的序数词。
2.新课展示(Presentation)
(1)Read,listen and chant.
①教师在课件上依次出示本部分的图片,引出本部分单词。
教师在课件上呈现本部分的单词及其录音,学生跟读。
②请学生观察两组单词,看学生能发现什么共同点。教师引导学生总结:两组单词中都包含字母组合th。但是两组单词中的th发音不同:第一组发/θ/,第二组发/ð/。
③教师再次播放本部分单词录音,学生跟读。教师讲解发音方法:/θ/,/ð/发音都是舌尖在两齿间,向外送气,属于擦音。发/θ/时声带不振动,发/ð/时声带振动。
④学生以“开火车”读的方式练习拼读单词,教师注意学生的发音。
⑤教师播放本部分歌谣录音,学生跟唱。教师注意学生th的发音是否准确。
(2)Listen,circle and say.
①学生先自主读本部分的单词,然后同桌读一读并相互正音。
②教师第一次播放本部分录音,学生根据录音内容圈出听到的单词。

教材分析 本单元分为三个板块：Part A Part B Part C,本单元学习的主题是中西方节日及个人生日，通过本单元的学习，同学们能够在语境中正确运用序数词，能够在情境中询问并回答某节日的日期，能够询问并回答有关生日日期的内容。
学情分析 五年级两个班的学生，虽然已经接触了两年英语，有一定的英语基础，但是两极分化情况较为严重，有的学生甚至连最基本的26个字母的书写都有问题，背单词是软肋。由于教材难度加大，学生的学习兴趣难以保持，因此要特别注意英语学习兴趣的继续保持，本学期应注重转化后进生，尤其是五一班的特困生相对较多，要好好利用四轮驱动的优势，因材施教，分层教学，保持并提高学生对英语学习的兴趣。
