(2)在一些短语,如many a或more than one所修饰的词作主语时,谓语动词多用单数形式。(与此类似的另外一个结构:more +复数名词+ than one,谓语动词用复数)但由more than…of作主语时,动词应与其后的名词或代词保持一致。

二.条件状语从句
(1)条件状语从句主要由以下连词引导:if, unless = if not, so / as long as (只要), in case, etc.
(2)如果将来的事情很可能会发生,那么if从句要用一般现在时或现在进行时(强调从句动作在进行之中)等,主句则用一般将来时,即:“主将从现”:
