1. 导入新课
1. 教师问学生：“What day is it today?”；
2. 学生回答完后，教师顺着回答继续询问：“What’s the date today?”；
3. 教师根据学生回答情况逐步呈现日期相关单词及数字。
2. 学习新词
1. 教师打开主题课文，让学生跟读；
2. 介绍本课的新词汇。要求学生跟读并记忆相应单词、短语。 3. 学习日期的表达方式
1. 通过多种方式，如图片展示、实物展示、录音等多种方式，展示日期的表达方式； 2 根据英文日历，导入英文月份及星期的学习。
4. 机械练习
1. 听力练习：老师报出日期，要求学生准确标注中文日期；
2. 口语表达练习：让学生对词汇。学生大声朗读、默读、组句。
5. 课文内容呈现
1. 教师以“填空、连线等”等形式，引导学生读懂课文，并通过各种练习，巩固学习内容；

一、教材分析
单元及课文分析:本课内容选自冀教版小学英语第四册第二单元，本课内容为故事课，讲述了月亮先生在很久以前没有生日，从而十二个月份争相推荐自己，并在自我推荐过程中，介绍了自己的月份特点，从而使学生在学习故事的过程中也复习了有关月份、序数词、节日和天气的知识。 本课内容是Unit2的最后一课，本单元的主题是Days and Months,故事中出现的月份和天气均是学生在本单元中接触过的词汇，因此学生们在自主探究的过程当中并没有遇到过多的麻烦，同时对于出现的少量的新单词，学生可以借助老师的表情、动作进行猜测，理解。英语课程标准一级目标要求学生能看图识字，能在指认物体的前提下认读所学词语，能在图片的帮助下读懂、理解并能表演故事。
二、学情分析
通过本单元的学习，学生已能较熟练地认读一些常见的天气、月份，能介绍它们的一些特征。学生从三年级起学习英语，经过一学期的学习，已有初步的英语基础，正逐渐向读写过渡，本课的月份生日话题是他们比较感兴趣的内容，学生会有较高的学习热情。
三、教学目标
（1）知识与技能目标：学生能理解故事内容，并在教师引导下讲述故事、表演故事； 学生能利用上下文、借助课件及肢体语言推测生词的意思； 培养学生的阅读能力的策略。
