It’s my great pleasure to talk my lesson plan here. My lesson plan is about Go for it! Section A Unit 10 3a Reading. As for this lesson, I have 4 aspects of the curriculum aims: 1. Language Points 2. Emotion & Attitude; 3.Culture; 4.Reading and Learning Skills; All of these help to improve the students’ integrated ability of applying English.In order to achie ve these goals, I’m going to do it in 5 ways. Here are they; let’s take a look.Knowledge objectives: First, my Students should have some background information. After learning this lesson, they should know more about the topic, the yard sale in America, the possessions of the things around you. And they master some new words and useful expressions, for example, clear out, bedroom, no longer own, railway, part with, certain, as for, to be honest. They are able to use the Present Perfect Tense correctly.Ability objectives:It is a reading course, so the main purpose is to improve the Student s reading ability. In the fast reading, I’ll train the S tudents abilities to look for specific information, that is skimming, scanning, in the careful reading, I’ll devel op their abilities of summarizing and analyzing.Moral objectives: Lots of families have old things that they no longer use. And how to deal with them is a difficult problem. In today’s lesson, I will introduce a new way to them, that is a yard sale. And I will also make my students to realize that by dealing with their old things in a better way is very helpful, making good use of waste materials, thus strengthen the conscious of environmental protection and reduce pollution,. Besides this, we can also giv e the money to a children’s house, which makes the student to know that they can help others in this way.Culture: Yard sale is quite common in America; it sells the old things to other peopleNow let’s focus on the teaching procedure. All together there are 6 steps: warming-up, before-reading, while-reading, and post-reading, discussing, group work and Homework.
