常用会展英语词汇

Attendance:展览会人数,包括参展商和参观商等展览会上的各种类别的人。Attendee:展览会的参加者,一般指展览会或会议的代表、参观商和观众,但不包括参展商。

Attendee brochure:发送给参观商或观众,吸引他们赴展览会参观的参观商手册。Air freight:空运货物。

Air waybill/ Air bill:(货物)空运单,在航程上可以涵盖货物从发运地到目的地间的国内、国际航空运输。

Adjustable standard:是一种可以在其上随意安装展板的展架立杆。

Aisle:观众人行过道或通道。

Aisle signs:悬挂于展厅内的、用于标注过道名称或编号的过道标识。Assembly:展位搭建。

Agent:代理。

Booth:展位(摊位),在美国,一个标准展位是10×10平方英尺。

Booth area:摊位面积。

Booth number:摊位号。

Certificate of insurance:保险凭证(许多展览会组织者向参展商以及展览馆向展览会组织者索要的一种投保证明),它是一种简化保险合同,没有保险单(insurance policy)正规。

Display rules & regulations:展览会规则。

Double-decker:双层展位(摊位)。

Declared value:申报价格。

Dock:码头。

Dock receipt:码头收货单据,一种由海洋运输公司出具的、证明货物已在码头仓库收妥的收据。

Drawback:退税。

Drayage:货运,专指把展品从码头运到展馆摊位及在展览会结束后把储存的空箱运到展台,并把回运展品再运到码头的运输业务。

Drayage contractor:货运服务商。

青岛酒店管理职业技术学院 课程总体教学设计方案 一、基本信息 课程名称:会展英语学时:76 课程类型:专业选修课学分:4 所属院部:基础教学部授课对象:08级会展班、09级中澳会展班 制定时间:2010年3月批准人: 课程团队负责人及成员:于海 二、课程的地位、作用及内容框架 经济全球化是当代世界经济发展的重要趋势,随着对外开放和国际化程度的日益提高,会展业已发展成为新兴的现代服务贸易型产业。国家需要越来越多的既能熟练应用英语进行工作,又能熟练进行会展行业操作的复合型人才,这客观上要求会展从业人员具备较强的英语沟通能力,能为各种大型国际会议和展览活动提供符合国际标准的专业化服务。本课程着眼于学生的英语应用能力和会展专业知识以及操作技能,综合提高学生的职业素质,使学生具备英语应用能力、协调能力、创新能力及独立解决问题的能力、沟通接待能力、策划、组织及宣传能力、信息收集、整理及处理能力和综合职业素质。 会展英语以企业和行业需求为导向,以学生为中心,以实践为核心,培养学生的英语应用能力和职业能力。共分十个单元:会展邀请;安排参展;布置会议厅和展位;参加展会;接待客户;介绍产品;洽谈业务;商贸谈判;撤离展会;分析成效。这十个单元横向贯穿整个会展操作流程,每个单元均由热身活动、情景对话、应用写作和广泛阅读四个部分组成。每一部分涉及一个主题,采用了步骤、行业、内容不尽相同的场景训练形式。每一主题后跟随相应的听、说、读、写模拟训练。其中第二部分的四个情景对话后,还有功能句、角色扮演、听力训练、词汇理解、句型应用五种类型的练习题,以保证实践训练的顺利进行,在了解会展知识、掌握会展流程、熟悉外贸业务的同时,达到学以致用的目的。本学期的教学任务:在十七周的课时内完成十个章节的教学任务。 三、授课对象的基本情况分析 学生已掌握一些会展专业知识,英语基础普遍很好,但对会展专业的英语知识还没有认知,也没有接受过会展专业英语口语的培训及词汇的积累,同时学生的英语基本功也需要进一步得到提高。 四、课程整体预设能力目标 1、掌握会展英语的词汇和术语,逐步积累会展英语知识,熟悉会展英语的管理方式和流程。 2、在掌握会展词汇和术语的基础上熟练运用英语知识进行有效的交流和沟通,对不同服务情景进行顺畅、准确的表演。学生发音基本正确,口语表达比较自然、准确和流利。 3、熟悉各类会展的英文信函和文件,能用英语写作简单的会展文件。 4、在进行会议时,运用英语进行会展邀请、安排参展、布置会议厅和展位、参加展会、接待客户、介绍产品、洽谈业务、商贸谈判等工作。 5、在会议结束后,学会用英语进行撤离展会、分析成效等工作。
