And how could you improve on Eddie Alberts performance as Pecks photographer friend? The movie also adds in the atmosphere of Rome itself, with some creative scenes that make good use of the setting.There are many fine moments in a story that at times seems almost like a daydream, and then it brings the characters back to reality in a moving way. Its not an easy combination to pull off, but here it all fits together very well, to make the kind of classic worth remembering, and one which you can watch and enjoy more than once.。

罗马假日五十载，唯有黑白永不褪
在黑白照片里看五十年代的罗马，繁华的街市，热情的人民。
这是安妮公主最爱的城市，更是安妮公主永恒不忘的记忆。
忙于生计的记者乔在一个晚上邂逅了公主，安妮公主在亦睡亦醒时本性得到释放，她梦见自己再不用东奔西跑，不用恭敬的行礼，机械的舞蹈，刻意的微笑….通过报纸才惊讶的的发现自己屋内的竟然是“生病”的公主，虽然最初的心情并非单纯，可是毫不影响故事的美感，乔编造了谎言，却编织了安妮公主的梦。
罗马假日里，安妮笑的开怀，剪着短发，吃着甜筒，没钱买花，却恣意潇洒的生活，若公主有机会选择，我相信公主一定会选择这样的生活，在真理之嘴骗说把手伸进去，如讲谎话就会被狮口吞食，当乔吓唬公主时看出了在公主的善良纯真。
罗马假日仅仅一天，但足以衍生出爱情，公主也没有永远的成为老百姓，她身上肩负着一个国家给予的责任。
最后安妮公主的梦醒了，现在必须离开乔，走到那个拐角，然后走开，让乔就留在车里把车开走，离开安妮，就如安妮离开乔一样。
记者发布会上，她惊讶的发现乔变成了美国记者，安妮远远地看着他，这样的距离注定无法逾越，重新戴上皇冠的公主，一如既往的高贵，却抛下矜持对着罗马城喊道：罗马，只有罗马，这记忆我将一辈子珍藏！永远！爱人近在咫尺，而后两两相忘，人群散尽，乔手插裤袋，低头走出礼堂，身后一片空旷，无言忧伤。
安妮从不后悔一场以谎言开场的邂逅，我们也许会叹息有情人终成眷属是童话世界的不变定律，但他们之间注定会错过。
就如影片所说的人生不会尽如人意，不是么？
这部影片之所以经典，是因为它的主题来自自由，爱，与美的灵感，无论生活在何处，都是人们永恒的追求。
安妮公主的外表堪称女神，但又兼备人性美，出于对国家的责任，重新过着被安排的生活，但公主又是勇敢的，，敢于最自由的追求，从
而逃了出来，乔有着英俊的外表，绅士的风度，他和同事虽然过着苦日子，但是没有财迷心窍，最终将偷拍的照片换给了公主，这里折射出了人性的美，也非常让人感动

——“我以为真正的美丽，是可以通过时间考验的东西“ 在中外电影史的选修课上，印象最深的电影，几乎扎根在记忆土壤里，不用鼓动就开出一整季夏天的花，是威廉.惠勒导演的《罗马假日》(Roman Holiday)。
综合大教室的幻灯片，铺上1953年的黑白,衬得奥黛丽的明眸似蒂凡尼的钻石,隐藏不了半个世纪的耀眼，成为越来越来多人喟叹和咀嚼的经典。
讲述奥黛丽·赫本饰演的欧洲某公国的皇室公主与格里高利·派克饰演的美国平凡记者在罗马一天之内发生的浪漫故事。
公主隐瞒自己真实姓名抛开事务想度过真实的罗马的生活,剪短发,吃冰淇淋 ,喝露天咖啡,逛街，而这些有知道了她身份想拍照报导”获一笔横财”也伪饰了身份的乔的跟随陪同. 上帝之手考究的地点和时间,谁也挑不得.
故事完美地开头,前几个钟头外交时优雅致礼的公主和英俊品格的记者混迹在街头,两人不俗的幽默,欢愉的眼神交流.只在与对方的只言片语和小小的习惯细节里展露的契合,屏幕外我们猜想得到情愫的滋生,令人感慨的爱情总是那么刚刚好的巧遇,公主也渐渐发觉乔的英俊有趣.
很喜欢的在mouth of truth的两分钟剪辑里,”传说你如果说谎它就会咬掉你的手”公主害怕将手伸进去,说你先试试,乔迟疑几秒,把手伸进假装突然被咬住拔出断手,吓得公主抱住他拽他,知道是被骗后扑向他又哭又笑,很活泼动人的画面.,花絮里说这是派克即兴的表演,一次就过,想到现实生活中，奥黛丽和派克是挚友，在很多年后奥黛丽的葬礼上，已是白发苍苍的派克老泪纵横，他哽咽地说：“能在那个美丽的罗马之夏，作为赫本的第一个银幕情侣握着她的手翩翩起舞，那是我无比的幸运。

心情起伏不定的时候,疼痛会给出答案,然而最最揪心的还是决定.做了24小时的安雅，安妮公主清楚自己的职责，需要把调皮的本性按下去，摆出沉静美丽的姿态面对众人，用一段悲哀的邂逅去承担更大的使命。
片尾公主接受记者访问，当被问到最喜欢哪个城市，“每个城市都有令人难忘之处，很难说……罗马，我最爱罗马我在罗马的日子定会毕生难忘。

看着公主离开的背影，人群散去，乔落寞地一个人插兜走出展馆，回头望了她的
座位一眼，配着那个年代的交响，电影结束，从此没有安雅。
无论是银幕还是周遭生活，是不缺少这样的剧情，大概是出于奥黛丽天使的面容俏丽艳遇，恰到好处的眼窝，也因为派克挺拔的身躯，成熟的言行，使得这些黑白画面成为像一件古董衣，精致的曲线裁剪依托着厚重的历史感，还有某个品牌传统的质感，流传下来就是让人忍不住想亲眼目睹一番风采，想触摸用尽美好的词汇的赞叹。
我相信安雅安妮都是奥黛丽的本色，可爱又优雅，善良也努力，她留给我们的不只是罗马记忆，还有她的时尚潮流，活跃在银幕上的丽影就好像她仍旧在努力地演出,为我们的幻想织一件罩衣.
