初三英语作文外研版上册As a junior high school student, I have had the privilege of experiencing many exciting activities, but one that stands out the most is my trip to the Great Wall of China. This essay recounts the memorable moments and the lessons I learned during this unforgettable journey.Last summer, our class organized a field trip to the Great Wall, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. We set off early in the morning, filled with anticipation and excitement. The journey to the wall was a mix of laughter and singing, as we were all eager to see the marvel we had only read about in books.Upon arrival, the sight of the Great Wall was breathtaking. It stretched out like a giant dragon, winding its way across the mountains. The wall's grandeur was a testament to the ingenuity and perseverance of the ancient Chinese people. We were all in awe of the architectural feat that had withstood the test of time. Our guide led us through the history of the wall, explaining its purpose as a defense mechanism against invasions. We learned about the different dynasties that contributed to its construction and the stories of the workers who built it. It was humbling to walk on the same path that countless others had trodden over the centuries. The climb was challenging, but the sense of camaraderie among my classmates made it enjoyable. We encouraged each other to keep going, and the shared experience brought us closer together. Reaching the top was a moment of triumph, and the panoramic view from the highest point was indescribable. The surrounding landscape was a beautiful blend of lush greenery and rugged terrain, and the wall snaked its way through it, a symbol of unity and strength.During the trip, I also learned the importance of environmental conservation. We were reminded not to litter and to respect the historical significance of the site. It was heartening to see my classmates taking this message to heart, picking up trash and ensuring that we left the place as we found it.The trip to the Great Wall was not just a physical journey but a mental and emotional one as well. It taught me about history, culture, and the power of collective effort. It also instilled in me a sense of pride in my country's rich heritage and a responsibility to preserve it for future generations. In conclusion, the trip to the Great Wall was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I will cherish forever. It was a day filled with learning, laughter, and personal growth. As I look back on this adventure, I am grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of it and for the valuable lessons it imparted. The Great Wall is not just a landmark;it is a symbol of resilience and a reminder of the greatness that humanity can achieve when we work together.。

At first, it was too dark to see anything, but soon the clouds cleared and the sky was becoming light. The sun rose behind me and I found I was on the edge of the canyon. It’s about 2 kilometres deep,20 kilometres wide and over 400 kilometres long! It’s not just big, but huge. What a wonderful view! I took a lot of beautiful photos.I think the Grand Canyon is one of the greatest wonders in the natural world.(100 words) M2 U2 My Favourite Great BookMy favourite great book is The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. It’s written by Mark Twain. The story is about a lively and clever boy named Tom Sawyer. He goes looking for treasure with his friends Huck and Joe and finds himself in many exciting adventures. My favourite scene is when he goes to his own funeral. I think it’s very funny. The themes of the story are to do with children growing up and becoming more serious. Although it’s only a story, it’s still read and loved by people all over the world. Today it’s thought to be one of the greatest books in American literature.(106 words) M3 U2 A Famous Chinese SpotsmanLiu Xiang is a famous sports star of the 110-metre hurdles. People wrote words on paper to make a book. But in the past, books could only be produced one at a time by hand. As a result, they were expensive and rare. And because there were n’t many books, few people learned to read. Then printing was invented in China. When printing was developed greatly at the beginning ofthe 11th century, books could be produced more quickly and cheaply. After that, knowledge and ideas spread quickly.Today information can be received online, downloaded from the Internet rather than found in books. And information can be kept on CD-ROMs or machines such as MP3 players. These machines are smaller and lighter than books so that they can be carried very easily.Computers have already been used in classrooms. Newspapers and magazines can already be read online. So will books be replaced by computers one day?(162words)M5U2 A Trip to The Science Museum in London Last Sunday,I went on a school trip to the Science Museum——the most unusual museum in London.First,I went to my favourite room the LaunchPad and did some physics experiments.I also watched the Rocket Show and learned how to travel into space. Then I went upstairs to the Human and Nature room. There I compared my speed with animals’.It was very interesting. There were rooms on transport, space, technology and the environment as well.I learned a lot and had a wonderful time.In my opinion, visiting the Science Museum is fun and it’s a great way to learn about science because we can work out problems and try out different ideas. But we have to obey some rules in the museum. For example,we mustn’t take photos of the exhibits. What a pity!(124 words) M6 U2 How to Protect the EnvironmentWe all need a healthy environment, but we produce waste every day and it does harm to the environment.Though we are young,we can still do something to help. For example,we can try to walk or ride a bike to school. In summer,we can open awindow instead of turning on air conditioning. When shopping we can buy things produced locally rather than made abroad and take our own cloth bags instead of using plastic bags. We’d better sort the waste before throwing it away.We can also find out what can be recycled in our neighbourhood and take part in recycling programmes. In fact, even the simplest everyday activities can make a real difference. So we should try our best and encourage everyone to protect the environment.(120 words)M7 U2 AustraliaThe Aborigines are the first people of Australia, and the ancient stories describe the spirits that created the world.Uluru is the Aboriginal name for A yers Rock. It’s a huge rock in the centre of Australia:3.6 kilometres long and 348 metres high. Its colours are fantastic. At different times of the day, they changefrom purple to red. When people come to visit it,they can either take a helicoper tour over the rock or go on a camel ride. They will have a wonderful time.Although it’s December,it’s summer in Australia. The sunshine is very bright and near the coast the countryside is very green. There are lots of sheep in the fields and on the hills, but the outback is more like a desert, full of rocks and sand. Most Australians speak English and they’re like British in many ways. For example, their family lives are similar and they enjoy the same food and hobbies. The food and drink that most Australians like are grapes, lamb, ham and especially wine. They love all sports, but the games that they love the most are football, cricket and rugby.Because most Australians live near the coast, they love going to the beach, swimming and surfing.(182 words)M10 U2Sports in Our School It’s very important for students to keep healthy.Everyone should do some sports every day because it’s good for our health as well as our study. In our school,we often do many kinds of sports during the break, such as playing basketball, playing table tennis, running and so on.After I do some sports,I often feel a little tired. However,I can listen to the teachers more carefully and pay more attention to the lessons in class. In my opinion, doing sports can improve students’both health and study.School sports have changed us a lot.Doing sports makes our school life more colourful and helps us make more friends.I’ll keep on doing it.(104 words) M11 U2The Environment of BeijingI’m glad to tell you something about the environment of our city,Beijing. As middle school students,it’s our duty to protect the environment.Beijing is the capital of China.Everyone tries to keep the city clean and tidy.People don’t throw away rubbish here and there any more. The air is much cleaner than before because more and more people take public transport instead of driving private cars. And people plant as many trees as possible so that the city looks more and more beautiful. If we try our best to do something for the environment,I’m sure Beijing will be one of the most beautiful cities in China.(102 words) M12 U2The Summer English CoursesIf you want to learn about American culture and improve your English at the same time, you can come to Los Angeles to take the summer English courses. The courses start at the beginning of July and August. 英语外研版九年级全一册的英语作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Day at SchoolHi there! My name is Emma, and I'm a 9-year-old student at Oakwood Primary School. Today, I'll take you through a typical day in my life as a primary school kid.Every morning, my mom wakes me up at 7 AM, and I get ready for school. I brush my teeth, comb my hair, and put on my uniform – a blue polo shirt and a gray skirt. After that, I grab my backpack and head downstairs for breakfast. My favorite is pancakes with maple syrup! Yum!At 8 AM, my dad drives me to school. I love looking out the car window and watching the world go by. When we arrive, I say goodbye to my dad and join my friends in the schoolyard. We chat and play until the bell rings. The first class of the day is English. I love learning new words and reading stories. Our teacher, Mrs. Wilson, is really nice and makes the lessons fun. Today, we learned about adjectives andhow to describe things. We played a game where we had to guess the object based on the adjectives our classmates used. It was hilarious! After English, we have Math. It's not my favorite subject, but I try my best. We learned about fractions today, and I got a little confused. Thankfully, my friend Sarah helped me understand it better.During recess, we go out to the playground and run around.I love playing tag and hopscotch with my friends. It's the best way to burn off some energy before our next class. After recess, we have Science. I find it fascinating to learn about the world around us. Today, we learned about the different types of rocks and how they're formed. We even got to examine some rock samples under a microscope!Next up is Art class, which is one of my favorites. We get to be creative and make all sorts of cool things. Today, we learned about color mixing and painted some beautiful landscapes. I made a painting of a sunset over a lake, and it turned out pretty good, if I do say so myself! After Art, it's time for lunch. I usually pack a sandwich, an apple, and a juice box. My friends and I sit together and chatabout our day so far. We also like to play games like "Would You Rather?" during lunch. In the afternoon, we have History and Geography. I love learning about different cultures and places around the world. Today, we learned about ancient Egypt and the pyramids. It's amazing to think about how people built those massive structures without modern technology! Finally, the last class of the day is Physical Education (P.E.). We get to play sports and games outside. Today, we played dodgeball, which is always a lot of fun, even though I'm not very good at it.After P.E., it's time to go home. My dad picks me up, and we talk about our days on the way home. Sometimes, we stop for ice cream as a treat if I've had a particularly good day.Once I'm home, I have a snack and start on my homework. I like to get it done as soon as possible so I can play afterward. After homework, I have some free time to read, play with my toys, or watch TV.At 6 PM, we have dinner as a family. My mom is an excellent cook, and we always have something delicious. After dinner, I help clean up and get ready for bed. Before going to sleep, I like to read a chapter or two from my favorite book. It's a great way to relax and wind down after a busy day.And that's a typical day in the life of a primary school student like me! It's a lot of work, but also a lot of fun. I love learning new things, spending time with my friends, and trying out different activities. School days can be tiring, but they're always exciting and full of adventures!篇2Hey there! My name is Tommy and I'm a 9-year-old kid from a small town. I love going to school and learning new things every day, but sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming. Like, just the other day, we had this crazy long English lesson and I thought my brain was going to explode! But don't worry, I'll try my best to tell you all about it.So, it all started when our English teacher, Ms. Johnson, walked into the classroom with a huge stack of books. She placed them on her desk and said, "Alright, class, today we're going to dive into the wonderful world of English textbooks!" Immediately, everyone let out a collective groan. I mean, who gets excited about textbooks, right? But Ms. Johnson was having none of it. She picked up one of the books and showed us the cover. It was the Foreign Research Press English textbook for 9th grade. "This book is going to be our guide to mastering the English language this year," she said with a big smile.I have to admit, the book didn't look too exciting at first glance. It was just a plain old blue book with some basic English words on the cover. But Ms. Johnson promised us that it was filled with all sorts of exciting stories, grammar lessons, and vocabulary exercises. The first few chapters were all about introducing ourselves and talking about our families. Easy peasy, right? Well, not exactly. You see, we had to learn all these fancy words like "relatives," "siblings," and "ancestors." I'm pretty sure my brain short-circuited a few times trying to remember them all.But that was just the beginning! As we progressed through the book, things got a lot more complicated. We learned about different tenses, like the present perfect and the past continuous.I swear, half the time I had no idea what Ms. Johnson was talking about. Then there were the reading comprehension passages. Oh man, those were a doozy! We had to read these long, boringstories and answer a million questions about them. Like, who cares what happened to John and his pet rock? I just wanted to get to the good stuff, like learning how to talk about my favorite video games and movies.Speaking of movies, one of the coolest parts of the textbook was the section on film reviews. We got to watch all sorts of cool movies and then write our own reviews about them. I remember writing a glowing review for "The Lego Movie" and getting an A+ from Ms. Johnson. She said I had a real talent for descriptive writing. But my favorite part of the textbook had to be the section on creative writing. We got to write our own short stories, poems, and even scripts for plays! I wrote this epic tale about a group of kids who stumbled upon a secret underground civilization of talking animals. Ms. Johnson said it was one of the most imaginative stories she'd ever read. But you know what? Despite all the challenges and frustrations, I actually started to really enjoy working through that 9th grade English textbook. It opened up a whole new world of language and creativity for me. By the end of the year, I felt like a true master of the English language (or at least a pretty decent one).Looking back, I can't believe how much I learned from that one little blue book. It taught me how to express myself better, how to understand complex ideas, and how to appreciate the beauty of language. Sure, there were times when I wanted to chuck it out the window, but in the end, it was all worth it.So, if you're a fellow student struggling with your English textbook, just hang in there! It might seem tough now, but trust me, one day you'll look back and realize how much you've grown and how much that book has helped you along the way.Anyway, that's my story about the 9th grade English textbook from the Foreign Research Press. I know it was a bit of a long one, but hey, what did you expect from an English composition? Thanks for listening (or reading, I guess) and remember, keep on studying and never give up! Who knows, maybe one day you'll be writing your own epic tales about secret underground civilizations of talking animals.篇3My Amazing Adventure at the Zoo!Hi everyone! Today, I want to tell you all about my incredible adventure at the zoo. It was the most exciting day ever!First, let me tell you about the animals I saw. There were lions, tigers, elephants, giraffes, and so many more! They were all so cool and fascinating. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw a lion up close. It was huge and had a magnificent mane. I felt like I was in a real-life safari!I also learned a lot of interesting facts about the animals. Did you know that a giraffe's neck is actually long because it helps them reach leaves on tall trees? It's true! I also discovered that elephants have a great memory and can recognize other elephants even after many years apart. Animals are truly amazing! One of the best parts of my day was when I got to feed the animals. I held out a bunch of bananas to a group of monkeys, and they eagerly grabbed them from my hands. Their tiny fingers felt so ticklish! I giggled as they munched on the bananas with their cute little mouths. It was such a unique experience! But the adventure didn't stop there. I also went on a thrilling ride called the "Zoo Train." It took us on a tour around the entire zoo. As the train chugged along, I saw even more animals and learned more interesting facts. It was like being on a magical journey through the animal kingdom! After the train ride, I visited the petting zoo. I was so excited to interact with the friendly animals there. I gently stroked the soft fur of a rabbit and giggled as a goat nibbled on my fingers. It was such a joy to be so close to these adorable creatures. I never wanted to leave! Before I knew it, the day was coming to an end. I felt a mix of happiness and sadness. I was happy because I had the best day ever, but I was also sad because I didn't want it to end. The zoo was such an amazing place, full of incredible animals and unforgettable experiences. As I left the zoo, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to learn and explore. It was an adventure that I will cherish forever. I hope one day you all get to experience the magic of the zoo, just like I did. It's a place where dreams come true! That's all for now, friends. I hope you enjoyed hearing about my incredible adventure at the zoo. Remember, there's a whole world of wonders waiting for us out there. Let's keep exploring and discovering new things together!Take care and have fantastic adventures of your own!Yours,[Your Name]Word count: 408篇4My Life as a Ninth GraderHi there! My name is Alex and I'm a 9th grader at Oakwood High School. I wanted to tell you all about what my life is like as a teenager in the 9th grade. It's been quite a journey so far!The biggest change from middle school to high school has been the workload. The classes are much harder and the teachers expect a lot more from us. I have to study way more than I used to. Math has become really difficult - algebra is no joke! I spend hours trying to understand all the equations and formulas. My math teacher, Mr. Peterson, doesn't make it any easier. He's super strict and expects us to know everything. English is okay, but we have to write long essays constantly. My English teacher, Ms. Jenkins, is actually kind of cool though. She makes the class fun with group activities and interesting book assignments. The hardest class for me is definitely biology. There's so much vocabulary to memorize about cells, organisms, andprocesses. I find myself zoning out during the lectures because the content can be really dry. My biology teacher, Mr. Harris, is a nice guy but he's terrible at explaining things clearly. Thankfully, a couple of my friends are really good at biology so they help me study. Speaking of friends, that's one of the best parts of high school so far!I've made so many new awesome friends this year. We'll go to the mall after school, grab some food at the food court, and just hang out. Or sometimes we'll go to the park and play soccer or basketball. My closest friends are Jayden, Kyle, Emma, and Sophia. Jayden is the funny class clown who always makes us laugh. Kyle is a total jock and is super good at every sport. Emma is the smart one who helps us all with our homework. And Sophia is just the coolest, most laid-back person ever. We have such a great time together. There's also a lot of pressure around grades and test scores. My parents are always on me about getting good grades so I can get into a great college someday. I put a ton of pressure on myself too. I study really hard and make sure to turn in all my assignments on time. But sometimes the workload just feels completely overwhelming. When I get stressed, I try to takebreaks and do things I enjoy like listening to music, playing video games, or going for a run.Speaking of activities outside of class, I'm also involved in a few clubs and sports at school. I run cross country in the fall and do track in the spring. Running helps me stay in shape and relieve stress. I'm also part of the Drama Club, which is a nice creative outlet for me. And I volunteer for the Environmental Club because I really care about sustainability and protecting the planet. Between all of those commitments plus homework, my schedule stays pretty packed.Overall though, I'm having a pretty great 9th grade experience so far. There have definitely been some challenges adjusting to high school. But I've grown a lot as a person already this year. I've become more independent, responsible, and assured of who I am. I've learned how to better manage my time and priorities. And I've made incredible memories and friends that will last forever.Don't get me wrong - being a 9th grader is still really hard a lot of the time. But I'm cherishing all the great moments and personal growth opportunities. I know the next three years of high school are going to be a wild ride, but I'm ready for it. Being a teenager is messy and complicated but also incredibly fun andfull of exploration. I'm just trying to enjoy every second of it. Well, thanks for listening to my perspective! Catch you later!篇5My Life as a 9th GraderHi there! My name is Xiaoming, and I'm a 9th-grade student at a middle school in Beijing. I'm learning English this year, and let me tell you, it's been quite an adventure! English is a really cool language, but it's also pretty tricky sometimes. Still, I'm trying my best to master it because I know it'll be super useful in the future. You see, my dream is to become a famous scientist one day. I've always been fascinated by science, especially physics and chemistry. I love experimenting and trying to understand how things work. English is important because a lot of scientific research and discoveries happen in English-speaking countries. If I can speak and write English well, I'll be able to read all the latest scientific papers and maybe even work with researchers from around the world! But enough about my future plans. Let me tell you about my daily life as a 9th grader. My day usually starts pretty early, around 6:30 AM. I have to get up, wash my face, brush my teeth, and get dressed for school. My mom always makes sure I have a nutritious breakfast before I leave. I honestly don't know how she has the energy to cook so early in the morning! At around 7:30 AM, I hop on my bike and pedal to school. It's about a 15-minute ride, and I enjoy the fresh morning air. I have to be careful, though, because the streets can get pretty crowded with cars, buses, and other cyclists.Once I get to school, the first class of the day is usually Chinese literature or math. I have to admit, I find those subjects a bit boring sometimes. But I know they're important, so I try my best to pay attention and take good notes. Then comes my favorite part of the day – English class! Our teacher, Ms. Wang, is really fun and engaging. She always comes up with interesting activities and games to help us learn new vocabulary and grammar. We practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing in English. It's challenging, but I love the feeling of accomplishment when I can express myself in this foreign language.During the lunch break, I usually hang out with my friends in the schoolyard. We play basketball, trade snacks, and chat about our favorite TV shows or video games. Sometimes, we evenpractice our English by having little conversations with each other. It's a great way to reinforce what we've learned in class. In the afternoon, we have more classes like history, geography, and physics. I enjoy physics the most because it's all about understanding the laws of nature and how the universe works. It's like solving a giant puzzle! After school, I often have extracurricular activities like the science club or English club. In the science club, we get to do cool experiments and learn about cutting-edge scientific discoveries. In the English club, we practice our speaking and writing skills through debates, presentations, and creative writing exercises.Once I get home in the evening, it's time for homework and studying. I have to admit, the workload in 9th grade is no joke! I spend at least a couple of hours every night reviewing my notes, doing assignments, and preparing for tests. My name is Alex and I'm going to tell you all about my awesome day at the zoo last weekend. It was the best day ever!On Saturday morning, I woke up superrr early because I was just too excited to sleep in. My mom made my favorite breakfast - pancakes with maple syrup and bananas. I gulped it all down quickly because we had to leave for the zoo right after. The drive to the zoo felt like it took forever. I kept looking out the window hoping to see the entrance gates. "Are we there yet?" I must have asked my dad about a million times. He just chuckled and said "Almost there, kiddo."Finally, we made it to the zoo parking lot. I could hardly contain my excitement! We walked up to the ticket booths and my dad paid for our tickets. The lady at the counter handed me a big colorful map and circled all the coolest exhibits to check out.I gave her a big smile and said "Thank you!"As soon as we went through the entrance gates, the first thing I noticed were all the amazing sights, sounds and smells. Kids were running around laughing, picnic aromas filled the air, and I could hear the roar of a lion echoing in the distance. This was going to be an awesome day!The first exhibit we saw was the monkey habitat. There were so many different kinds - big ones, little ones, some with long tails, others with none at all. They were climbing all over the place, swinging from branches and hanging upside down. A zookeeper was giving them snacks like carrots and lettuce. When he saw me watching, he threw me a banana which I happily munched on. Yum!Next up were the big cats like lions, tigers and cheetahs. They were resting in the shade, panting with their huge tongues sticking out. I felt bad for them having to lie out in the hot sun all day. The zookeeper told me they're nocturnal, meaning they sleep all day and are awake at night hunting for food. No wonder they looked so sleepy! After that, we went to see the penguin exhibit which was my personal favorite. They had this huge icy environment just for them to swim around in. I watched as they waddled around on the rocks, dived into the water and resurfaced over and over. Some were swimming right up to the glass and staring at all the people watching them. I stared back, giggling at their funny looking tuxedo-like coats. So cute!We took a quick break for lunch at one of the zoo's restaurants. I had a hot dog loaded with ketchup, mustard andrelish. My mom got a salad and my dad grabbed a burger and fries. After resting our feet, we headed off to explore some more exhibits. The reptile house was a little creepy with its slithering snakes and towering Komodo dragons behind huge sheets of glass. I tried not to make any sudden movements so they wouldn't get spooked. The zookeeper told me the snakes could squeeze me so tight that my eyes would pop right out of my head! I decided to keep my distance after that. One of the last stops was the petting zoo where I got to interact with all kinds of friendly farm animals. I fed vegetables to the goats, sheep and potbelly pigs, and they gobbled it all up. A zookeeper brought out a baby kangaroo and let me hold it. Its fur felt so soft and its little paws gripped onto my arm. Adorable! My dad insisted on visiting the gift shop before we left so I could get a souvenir. There were so many cool stuffed animals, keychains and t-shirts to choose from. In the end, I picked out a stuffed grizzly bear to remember my amazing zoo adventure. As we walked back to the car, both my parents had to practically carry me because my feet hurt so much from all the walking around. I konked out during the drive home, stillclutching my new bear. When I woke up, I was tucked into my own bed feeling happy and content.I had such an incredible day at the zoo. I saw beautiful animals from all over the world, did lots of fun activities, and made memories that will last forever. If you ever get a chance to go to the zoo, you have to take it! It's an adventure you'll never forget.。
