小学英语四年级课堂作业本第18页的小作文

小学英语四年级课堂作业本第18页的小作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Here's a 2000 word essay written from the perspective of a 4th grade student, as if it were written in their homework notebook on page 18. The language is English:My Super Fun Summer Vacation!Hey there! It's me, your friendly neighborhood 4th grader, ready to tell you all about my awesome summer vacation. Get ready for some serious fun and excitement, because this was one epic adventure that I'll never forget!First up, let me set the scene. School had just let out, and I was bouncing off the walls with excitement. No more homework, no more tests, just pure, unadulterated freedom! My parents had planned a super cool trip for us, and I could hardly wait to find out where we were going.Well, the big surprise was that we were going on a road trip across the country! Can you believe it? We were going to pile into our trusty minivan and hit the open road, exploring all theincredible sights and sounds that America has to offer. I was stoked beyond belief! Our first stop was the Grand Canyon. Oh my gosh, you guys, it was mind-blowingly huge! Like, I knew it was going to be big, but I had no idea just how massive it really was. We went on a hiking trail, and I felt like a tiny little speck in the vastness of it all. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder and amazement.Next up, we hit the bright lights of Las Vegas! Now, I know what you're thinking – isn't Vegas a little too wild for a kid? But fear not, my friends, we stuck to the family-friendly attractions. We saw amazing magic shows, went on thrilling roller coasters, and even got to see the famous fountains at the Bellagio hotel. It was like being in a real-life wonderland! After Vegas, we made our way to the beautiful beaches of California. We spent our days building sandcastles, splashing in the waves, and soaking up that glorious sunshine. I even tried surfing for the first time! Let's just say I spent more time eating saltwater than actually riding the waves, but hey, it was still a blast. One of the highlights of our trip was visiting Disneyland. I mean, come on, what kid doesn't dream of going to the HappiestPlace on Earth? We rode all the classic rides like Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and the Haunted Mansion. I even got to meet Mickey Mouse himself! I'll never forget the look of pure joy on my face as I hugged that big, lovable mouse. But our adventures didn't stop there, oh no! We also explored the stunning natural beauty of Yosemite National Park. We went on hikes through the most gorgeous landscapes, saw incredible waterfalls, and even went rock climbing (with proper safety gear, of course). It was like stepping into a real-life fairy tale, with towering trees and pristine lakes around every corner. As our journey came to an end, I couldn't help but feel a little sad. I had made so many amazing memories and experienced so many incredible things. But at the same time, I was bursting with gratitude for the opportunity to see and do so much.Looking back, this summer vacation was truly one for the ages. I got to bond with my family, explore new places, try new things, and create memories that will last a lifetime. It was an adventure that taught me so much about the world around me and pushed me to step out of my comfort zone. So, there you have it, my dear friends – the tale of my super fun summer vacation! I hope you enjoyed living vicariously through my adventures, and who knows, maybe you'll get toexperience something similar someday. Just remember to keep an open mind, embrace the unknown, and never stop exploring this amazing world we live in.Until next time, this is your friendly neighborhood 4th grader, signing off!篇2My Super Awesome Summer VacationSummer vacation is the best time of the year! No school, no homework, just fun fun fun! This summer was one of the funnest ever. I went to the beach, had sleepovers, went camping, and so much more. Let me tell you all about it!First up was my trip to the beach with my family. We loaded up the car with all our stuff - beach toys, towels, snacks, you name it. The drive took forever but I didn't even care cause I was so excited. When we finally got there, the beach was like a million miles wide! The sand was super hot but it felt good between my toes. I ran straight for the water and jumped over the waves. The ocean was freezing cold at first but I got used to it.I spent hours playing in the waves, making sandcastles, and burying my little brother in the sand. He didn't like that too much! For lunch we had hot dogs and ice cream sandwiches. In theevening we had a big bonfire and roasted marshmallows. I pretty much crashed in the car on the drive home.A few weeks later, my best friend Emily had a sleepover for her birthday. Her mom let us swim in their pool and had a movie theater set up in the basement. We watched my favorite movie, Frozen, and pigged out on popcorn and candy. After the movie we had a dance party and played dancing video games. We stayed up pretty much all night giggling and having pillow fights. Emily's dad made us all chocolate chip pancakes in the morning before our parents came to pick us up. It was an epic sleepover! The biggest adventure was when my family went camping at Yosemite National Park. We had to drive for like, a million hours, to get there. But when we arrived it was sooooo beautiful! We had this huge tent that my dad struggled to set up. I helped collect sticks and wood for the campfire. We hiked up to this waterfall that was taller than any building in the world. The water was ice cold but felt amazing after the long hike. We saw some deer just munching on leaves. At night we roasted hot dogs and told spooky stories around the campfire. I'll never forget jumping at every noise, thinking it was a bear! On the last night we made s'mores. I got chocolate all over my face but it was so worth it.There was so much other fun stuff I did over summer too. I had my first lemonade stand and made 10! Mom took me to the amusement park and I went on the biggest rollercoaster. I was a little scared but it ended up being so much fun. We also went strawberry picking and then mom made an amazing strawberry pie. Yum! Dad took me fishing for the first time. We didn't catch anything but maybe next time.Summer vacation is just the best time to relax, be outside, and make awesome memories. I feel like I was busy having fun every single day. But sadly, now it's time to go back to school. I already miss those lazy days of summer. Not gonna lie, I may have shed a few tears on the first day back. But I got to see all my friends again and my new teacher seems really nice. Fourth grade is gonna be great and full of more adventures, I just know it! And then it will be summer again before I know it. I can't wait!篇3My Summer VacationWow, summer vacation was so much fun! I had the best time ever. First, my family went on a big trip to the beach. We stayed in a hotel right by the ocean and I could hear the waves crashing on the shore all night long. It was so relaxing and peaceful.During the day, we spent a lot of time on the beach playing in the sand and swimming in the cool, blue water. The first day, I made the most amazing sandcastle. I dug a big hole and used a bucket to make tall towers. I decorated it with seashells I found and even had a little moat around it filled with water from the ocean. It looked just like a real castle! My little brother tried to smash it but I yelled at him and he got in trouble. He's so annoying sometimes. After building sandcastles, we went boogie boarding in the waves. That was my favorite part! The waves were huge and crashed down hard. I would ride them all the way to the shore. A couple times I wiped out and got all wet and sandy, but it was still a blast. My dad is really good at boogie boarding so he taught me some tricks. We had a contest to see who could ride the biggest wave without falling off. I didn't win but I came pretty close! When we got tired of the beach, we walked along the boardwalk and played games like skee-ball and whac-a-mole. I won a big stuffed dinosaur playing skee-ball! We also went on a rollercoaster that looped upside down. It was so scary but so much fun. After riding all the rides we were starving, so we ate pizza and funnel cakes and drank huge cups of lemonade. Myfavorite was the chocolatey fried oreos - they were so gooey and delicious! At night, we would go back to the hotel room and watch movies together as a family. We made popcorn and ordered snacks from room service. One time we had a contest to see who could eat the biggest ice cream sundae and I won! My stomach hurt a little after but it was worth it. I got to pick the next movie we watched. After spending a week at the beach, we went camping in the mountains. We pitched our tent near a little stream and went hiking every day. I saw lots of cool birds, squirrels, and other forest animals. My dad taught me about the different types of trees and plants. We collected pinecones and wildflowers to make crafts when we got back home. One morning, I woke up before everyone else, put on my rainboots and raincoat, and went puddle jumping in the rain! It was so peaceful and fun. I jumped in every puddle I could find and got completely soaked. When I got back to the campsite my mom laughed at me for looking like a drowned rat. But it was worth it!At night we would have a campfire and roast marshmallows for s'mores. We told spooky stories and looked at the millions ofbright stars in the dark sky. I had never seen so many stars before - it was breathtaking. My dad pointed out the constellations and taught me about the myths behind their names. It was all so interesting! On the drive back home, we stopped at this huge candy store. They had every kind of candy you can imagine - gummies, chocolates, hard candies, you name it. I picked out a big bag of my favorites like sour gummy worms, chocolate-covered pretzels, and fizzy soda bottles. My mouth waters just thinking about it! I snacked on them the whole drive home.As soon as we got back, I dumped out my backpack to show my best friend all the cool stuff I collected - seashells, pinecones, pressed wildflowers, and pictures. We played mermaids in the backyard pool and pretended we lived in an undersea castle like the sandcastle I built at the beach. I taught her the campfire songs and stories too.Summer was such an amazing adventure full of fun activities and special memories. I can't wait for next summer so I can have more excitement and make more awesome memories! I just hope next year's vacation is just as great, if not better. I'm already counting down the days!篇4My Amazing Summer Vacation!Wow, did I have the best summer ever or what? I had so much fun this year on my summer break from school. I went to so many cool places and did tons of awesome activities. Let me tell you all about it!First, my family and I went on a big road trip in our van. We drove for what felt like forever, but I didn't mind because I got to look out the window and see all the cool scenery going by. We saw mountains, forests, rivers, cities, farms with cows and horses, and lots more neat stuff. My little brother Kyle kept asking "Are we there yet??" like a million times which was kind of annoying but also funny. Our first stop was in Colorado to go hiking in the Rocky Mountains. Have you ever been up a really big mountain before? It's crazy! The air gets thinner the higher up you go so it's harder to breathe. But the views from the top were just breathtaking. I felt like I could see for a million miles in every direction. We saw some deer, rabbits, and even a black bear from pretty far away which was both awesome and a little scary! After our mountain adventures, we drove to San Diego to visit the world-famous San Diego Zoo. They have like every kind of animal you can imagine there - lions, tigers, elephants, giraffes, monkeys, birds, reptiles, you name it! My favorite was definitely the giant pandas because they are just so cute and cuddly looking. I also loved watching the zookeepers feed the animals like giant crocodiles and stuff. That took some serious bravery! Our next stop was Disneyland in Los Angeles! I had been dreaming about going to the "Happiest Place on Earth" for years and it did not disappoint. We went on so many fun rides like Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Indiana Jones, and the Haunted Mansion. I also got to meet Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and a bunch of the other classic Disney characters and get their autographs. At night they had this amazing fireworks show that was choreographed to music which was magical. After Disneyland, we drove up the Pacific coast to San Francisco. I had never seen the Pacific Ocean before so that was really neat. We went to this awesome playground right on the beach and I got to put my feet in the freezing cold water. We also walked across the famous Golden Gate Bridge which was a little scary because it's so high up but the views were epic. In the city, we went to the Exploratorium which is this awesome interactivescience museum where you can do all kinds of hands-on experiments and learn about how stuff works. Our last stop before heading home was in Portland, Oregon to visit my aunt, uncle, and cousins. They live on this amazing farm with horses, cows, chickens, and other animals. I got to help feed and take care of all the animals, gather eggs from the chicken coop, and even go for a trail ride on one of the horses. Spending time on the farm definitely made me appreciate where our food comes from and all the work farmers do.On our way back home we stopped at Yellowstone National Park and saw some incredible geysers, hot springs, and other geothermal features. We were lucky enough to be there when Old Faithful went off and saw how crazy powerful that geyser is when it erupts. We also saw tons of bison just roaming around the park like they owned the place, which was pretty hilarious. When we finally made it back home after our huge road trip, I didn't want the summer to end! I had so much fun seeing new places, experiencing different environments, learning about science and nature, and making a million amazing memories with my family. It was easily the best summer vacation of my life so far. I just hope next summer's adventures can somehow top this one!篇5My Summer VacationYay, summer vacation is finally here! No more waking up super early and rushing to get ready for school. During the summer, I get to sleep in as late as I want and just relax all day. Well, kind of. My mom says I still have to help out around the house and do my chores. But at least I don't have any homework or tests to study for!The first week of summer was pretty boring though. All my friends were going on vacation with their families, so I didn't have anyone to play with. I spent most days watching TV, playing video games, and reading books. I probably read like 20 books that first week! My favorite was this cool science fiction novel about aliens invading Earth. It was so exciting and had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Finally, after what felt like forever, my best friend Jason came back from his trip to Disneyland. We were so excited to see each other again! His family took him to Disneyland for his little sister's birthday, and he said it was the most fun place ever. He got to go on all the biggest roller coasters and rides. I was a little jealous, but he promised we could go together someday. To celebrate Jason being back, our families planned a big backyard BBQ at his house. We invited all our friends from class and had the hugest burger and hot dog feast. We played games like freeze dance and musical chairs, and jumped around on Jason's huge trampoLine. After we were all tuckered out, we had an epic water balloon fight. I don't remember the last time I laughed that hard!A couple weeks into summer, my family went camping up in the mountains. We drove a few hours north to this really pretty lake surrounded by huge pine trees. Our camp site was right next to the water, so we could look out our tent and see the lake glistening in the sun.On the first night, we roasted marshmallows and made delicious s'mores around the campfire. My little brother tried to sneak a whole chocolate bar into his s'more when my parents weren't looking! The next morning, we went on a little hiking trail and saw a family of deer drinking from the lake. They were so close, I could have reached out and touched one if I was crazy enough! That afternoon, my dad took us all fishing on the lake. I had never been fishing before, so he had to teach me how to put the worm on the hook and cast out the line. It was pretty grossdealing with the worms, but I got the hang of it eventually. I didn't catch any fish that day, but my dad reeled in two big ones! We cooked them over the campfire for dinner, and they were delicious. On the last night of our camping trip, we made it a tradition to have a massive pudgy pie cook-off contest. A pudgy pie is kind of like a pie or pizza cooked inside two pieces of bread over the fire. You can put anything you want inside them - peanut butter and bananas, Nutella and marshmallows, pepperoni and cheese. My dad always wins with his special sausage and jalapeno pudgy pie. This year though, I think my s'mores pudgy pie beat him! We'll have to see who wins next summer. After camping, there was only about a month of summer vacation left. Jason and I spent most days riding our bikes to the park, swimming at the community pool, or having sleepovers at each other's houses. We never got bored because we'd make up the craziest games and adventures to go on. One day we pretended to be super spy ninjas trying to infiltrate an evil lair. Another day the park was our rocket ship, and we were blasting off to explore different planets and galaxies.Too soon, summer came to an end and it was time to start getting ready to go back to school. We had to go shopping forall our new school supplies - notebooks, pencils, folders, backpacks, and lunchboxes. I even got some fresh new kicks to start the year off right. As much as I loved summer and all the fun I had, I actually was a little bit excited to get back to school too. I missed seeing all my classmates every day and learning new things from our teachers.Well, that's pretty much how I spent my summer vacation! Between camping, BBQs, water balloon fights, fishing, and just hanging out with Jason, it was one of the most fun summers ever. We made so many incredible memories that I'll never forget. Fourth grade is going to be awesome, but I'm already counting down the days until next summer!篇6My Summer VacationThis summer was the best summer ever! I had so much fun and did a bunch of really cool things. I can't wait to tell you all about it.First off, my family went on a big trip to Florida for two whole weeks! We stayed at this giant resort right near the beach. The resort had pools, waterslides, a lazy river, and even a little water park area just for kids. It was awesome! Every day I wouldswim and play in the pools and waterpark for hours. The lazy river was my favorite - you could just float along without having to swim at all. So relaxing! One day, we went to the actual beach on the ocean. The sand was so soft and white. I spent a long time just digging holes and building sandcastles. The waves were pretty big that day though, so we couldn't really swim much in the ocean. My little brother got crashed right over by a big wave and ended up with his swimsuit full of sand! It was really funny. He wasn't too happy about it though.Another day, we went to this super cool place called the Everglades. It's like a huge swampy wetlands area filled with alligators, birds, turtles, and all kinds of other wildlife. We took an airboat tour and got to see alligators swimming right up next to the boat! The guide told us we weren't allowed to stick our hands out though because the alligators could bite them right off. No thanks! I did get to hold a baby alligator at the end of the tour though. Its skin felt really rough and bumpy. The best part of the whole trip was definitely going to Disney World though. We spent three days there exploring all four theme parks - Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom. I rode so many rides like Space Mountain,Splash Mountain, Expedition Everest, and more. We also got to see tons of amazing shows with stunts, dancing, pyrotechnics, and events like the evening fireworks spectaculars. My favorite ride might have been the Haunted Mansion - it was a slow dark ride through a haunted house but it was so well-themed and spooky in the best way possible! At Hollywood Studios we got to see a whole amazing stunt show where the performers did crazy things like driving cars off ramps, setting themselves on fire, and falling from big heights. It looked so dangerous but the guide said it was all movie magic and completely safe when done by professionals like them. I don't think I'd ever want to try stunts like that though!Epcot was mainly focused on technology, science, world cultures, and food from around the globe. We got to walk through rides that simulated traveling to outer space, the ocean depths, and even getting shrunk down to microscopic size. So trippy! The different country areas were fascinating too. You could sample food, see replicas of famous landmarks, and learn about traditions from countries all over the world.Animal Kingdom was my other favorite park because, well, I love animals! We got to go on a traditional safari ride through the Harambe area and see real living tigers, lions, elephants, zebras, and more roaming relatively freely across the plain areas. The lions in particular were so magnificent and powerful looking. There was also an area set up like an archeological dinosaur dig site with dozens of life-size animatronic dinosaurs. Watching the giant T-Rex lurching around and roaring was both terrifying and amazing!Aside from that Florida trip, I also got to go to sleepaway camp for a week towards the end of summer. I was a little nervous at first since it was my first time being away from home for that long. But I ended up having a total blast! The camp had so many fun activities like archery, horseback riding, pottery, outdoor exploration, and more. I tried my hand at pretty much everything.I wasn't very good at things like archery or pottery. I kept missing the targets completely and my pinch pots and bowls kept collapsing into blobs. But it was still really fun trying them out. I definitely prefer the more active outdoorsy stuff though. We went on a couple of pretty long hikes through the woods surrounding the camp and saw lots of cool things like weird mushrooms, old crumbling stone fences, and even spotted a family of deer off in the distance. My favorite activities ended up being horseback riding and working at the camp's little farm area. I had never really been around horses before, but the ones at camp were all very friendly and well-trained. Once I got over my initial nervousness, horseback riding was just an absolute blast. You really got this sense of power and freedom that you don't get from other ways of getting around. At the farm area, we got to hang out with cows, pigs, chickens, and goats. Our camp counselors taught us all about how to properly care for the animals and clean out their pens and coops. I even got to hand-feed some of the smaller goats and chickens! The chickens didn't seem to mind at all, but the goats would kind of nibble at your fingers a little looking for more food. I had a lot of fun with that.On our last night at camp, we had a big campfire along with s'mores, spooky stories, and singing silly camp songs like "The Ants Go Marching" and "The Princess Pat." Laying back and staring up at the stars was so peaceful and relaxing. You could see so many more than you can from home in the suburbs. I really didn't want camp to end!Once I got back home, the rest of summer was prettylow-key. I just hung out with friends, played outside, bikedaround the neighborhood, and did my summer reading assignments for school. But after those two big vacations, I didn't really mind a little downtime to rest up. Fourth grade starts back up next week and I'm actually looking forward to seeing my friends and teachers again.Overall it was just an absolutely amazing summer full of fun, excitement, and new experiences. I'll remember this summer for the rest of my life. I just hope next summer can be half as fun as this one was! Maybe we'll go to California or something. I guess we'll see! Anyway, that's my summer vacation story. Thanks for reading!。
